Excellent. The technician checked and determined that I was using wrong bulb.

He never returned my call and it's been almost a month and NO RETURN CALL

Rick if fantastic - very personable and efficient. He quickly reattached the fixture that my son had pulled off the basement ceiling (!!!). He was unable to install the light fixture due to a duct work issue but he outlined my options for me.

I would highly recommend using Gioffre for any work you need done. I called and left a message for Joe. The next day I received a call back. We scheduled a day and time for the work and Rich showed up right on time (calling me 1/2 hour beforehand). Rick did the work as specified and cleaned up after he was done. Rick also let us know if there was any follow up issues, he would be right out to take care of them. By the way, Rich also loves dogs so if you have any, he is the perfect guy for the job.

Went great. Ran into some unexpected things on outside work but Rick the electrician knew exactly how to fix the issues. They provided a quote for some additional work that we'd like to have done in the future. Price seemed reasonable.

I called and had to leave a message inquiring about work to be performed in my basement to bring up to code (and inquiring about the AL Coupon for 3 hours of electrical work). I received a call back several days later. The only reason I didn't give an "F" is because he was seemingly a nice guy on the phone. However, he asked me for a sketch drawing of my needs, on graph paper. I am not a contractor, engineer or architect. In fact, one of the things I told him I needed was a professional's sketch of my electrical plan to submit to the City for plan review (at the specific request of my inspector). Since I cannot possibly draw an accurate depiction of my basement because...well, I am not the professional...I sent an email with 11 pictures of my basement instead with a full description of what I needed help with. His response? "I am afraid I cannot bid off this. Sorry." I followed with not one but 2 emails, asking 1) What he meant by his response, and inquiring whether someone could at least come out and take a look and 2) asking what there was to bid (since the Angie's List Coupon was for 3 hours of work, flat rate)? No response, whatsoever, to either email. I view this as a lack of courtesy and professionalism. Now, I am 2.5 weeks further behind on my remodel...which I had hoped to complete before football season...and no further along than I was when I clicked on his name almost 3 weeks ago...

Rick was the technician that arrived. Very nice and professional. Work done was great and price was very fair. Will be having this company do all electric work I need done in my house going forward.

They got to the problem right away and were able to solve it. They didn't add much expense it was resolved right away. Got right back to us when we made the initial contact. The first person available came out right away. Same day repair.

Very well; cleaned up after service

The contractor ultimately did good work. His originally proposed method would have made for a less clean- looking outcome. We were able to talk through other options for how to approach the project and he agreed to do it the right way instead of the slightly quicker way.

Installer put in new 20 amp switch and outlet. Worked for 3 weeks then burned out like all the others. Called and they couldn't get back to me for 3 weeks, by which time my water would be green. Called another service. They came the next day, routed wiring directly from motor to switch, put in new GFI outlet, replacing the one that blew out. Company more specialized in servicing pools. Very much liked the Gioffre installer but given subsequent work, I realized they might not be the best source for fixing my pool electrical problem.

He did some work for us on the house.

Rick did a great job fixing the outlets we needed repaired after a home inspection to sell our home.

Rick was great. Unfortunately, the receptacle was out of reach without cutting into the basement ceiling to reach the outlet, but Rick was able to cut a minimal piece of the ceiling out to reach the wiring and was able to move the receptacle to the all within less than 2 hours. The work was clean and we are now able to open our dishwasher. He was also very friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

I purchased the deal for 3 hours of work for $285. The tech was on time and worked very quickly to get all the work done. This deal is well worth it if you have everything ready so that the tech can attend to each item without delay.
