Rick fixed my electrical issue quickly without any problems. He was friendly and wore shoe protectors. The price was less than I expected to pay!

Rick was amazing! He came in and effortlessly fixed what the last person messesd up. He clearly knows what he is doing which was refreshing. I will be saving his information for use.

Contacted via Angi’s around 10 days ago. No reply. Ridiculous. Companies at the very minimum should send a courtesy email that they are swamped until x date /too busy at this time for new business.

Rick and his wife Stacy both were focused on delivering a great customer experience. My calls were handled promptly and so was the work. Went very well it, was a lot of work to get done all in one day. It should had been broken up into 2 days. To get all the work done I had to due all the clean up, while he moved from one project to the next.

I needed a bunch of stuff done. Was blowing fuses, had outlets that either didn’t work or partially worked. Also needed a new outlet installed for a portable AC upstairs. Rick came out and gave me an estimate...and I called to schedule before he backed out of my driveway. He did all the work today and I’m so impressed. He’s fast, knowledgeable, nice and VERY reasonable. He’s gonna be my only electrician.

Everything went exactly as planned. He arrived right on time and spent most of the day doing our work. He replaced 3 hall/stair lights that hung down from the ceiling with flush LED lights. They are so sleek and bright and the look of the area is greatly improved. He then replaced a single kitchen fixture with 6 flush LED fixtures. He spaced them exactly to illuminate the surfaces in the area. It was quite a task as it is a very high cathedral ceiling. Lighting has always been a problem in the kitchen, now it is amazing. The fan problem was tested at no additional charge. I had never used this company before but they will be my go to company from here on.

Just had 7 outlets added in my house and 2 outlets fixed. Technician was great, polite, and professional. Exceeded expectations and was great working with me to stay within my budget.

Here's where it got strange. i thought I was dealing with Joe Gioffre Electric Co but instead it appears they sub-contracted with a company called My Electric Works .... when I asked if he was sub-contracted and why not Gioffre he was unable to answer so he made a preliminary diagnosis then said it would could $470 dollars to replace one GFI outlet and remove 3 GFI's on the same circuit and install normal outlets which I thought was way too much so i paid the estimate fee and will hire someone to replace the outlets at a price I can live with. Three points: Why did Angie's List not note that this company uses subcontractors and not their own employees, why does the phone number 614-689-3489 that Angie's List provides connect one to a number that rings and rings and then goes to a busy signal and finally why wouldn't a reputable company provide an hourly rate so customers have a better idea of what to expect? Not a good Angie's List experience; not a good Joe Gioffre Electric experience. The young electrician who works for My Electric Works was competent but I would not have ordered an estimate had I know it would be a sub-contractor and not the company reviewed by Angie's List who would show up.
