Description of Work: We had ceiling fans installed in our bedrooms and fans installed in our bathrooms as well. We are so happy with our fans and are very satisfied with the job that was done!

Description of Work: I called Joe Gioffre Electric Co to replace my electric panel. He asked me what the problem was. I said that there wasn't a problem but that I thought that the Pushmatic circuits should be replaced. He explained that these were very good circuit breakers (he has them in his home) and that if I wasn't having a problem, there is no reason to replace them. I appreciate his honesty and will call him in the future if I need any electrical work.

Description of Work: I left work early so I would be home when the technician arrived. He "claimed" he came out. Funny that I have no record of him ever coming, no note on the door or anything. I have used this company in the past with no issues. When I called the technician as well as the owner had nasty attitudes. They both had a lot of nerve because my time is important too. Never again will I call or recommend.

Description of Work: I initially called Time Warner to request the installation of an internet connection in a second floor spare room. I was told that TW does not do 2nd floor installs because of possible damage claims. I then called Mr. Gioffre and he sent an electrician out to review the possible install and allow time for an estimate of cost. When he looked at my house (1974 build), he said it could be done (as well as the other 3 upstair rooms). My wife asked if he could include 3 electrical outlets (2 in a 1st floor hallway and 1 on the 2nd). He said yes. The estimate was for $650+/- depending on what he got into during the install. Everything went fine until he drilled into the 2nd floor (from below) and ran into some metal nails and/or plate and the drill bit slid 3 times through the sheet rock of the stairway. He could not help it. I was there and only an X ray would have helped prevent it. He was able to drill one hole large enough for two cable lines. He hooked up 2 rooms and installed the outlets in the hallways. He then deducted $150 from the invoice for the unfortunate holes which I will patch. Both Mr. Gioffre and his electrician (i believe his name is Rick) were professional, personable and efficient. I am satisfied with everything. As Rick said when leaving, now we know why TW doesn't do this!

Description of Work: I had an outdoor mounted office globe electrical fixture removed; re-wired; &, re-hung on our outside stucco wall. I also had a fluorescent overhead light fixture (4 48 inch bulb fixture's ballasts replaced. Done with expertise, neatly, & fairly priced! In addition Joe evaluated a separate electrical line & separate circuit breaker installation done by another company that appeared to be not working. The other company had had several problems in doing the job & I was not sure the line was properly installed as one of the outdoor plugs for our outside gutter heat tape was not working. Joe checked out the installation --- found that a separate outside circuit breaker sensitive to moisture had caused the breaker to break. Joe re-set this breaker & explained to me how to re-set these 2 outside separate breakers if they kick off. This had never been a feature that I even knew was installed by the original electrical company. Joe was on time, fair, explained everything. Joe is one of the nicest persons I have had the pleasure to work with at my home & office. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOE GIOFFRE!!! Dr. Mark Smilack
