Description of Work: They resolved ongoing problem with light fixtures not working properly by replacing bad connection in attic junction box. They had to wade through a lot of insulation in the attic but still found the problem. |I would consider them professional, trustworthy, and reliable.

Description of Work: I am looking for an electrician, so I tried an Angie's List Big Deal for 3 hours of electrical work. Some wiring needed to be changed to correct a problem caused by the last electrician I hired. Also some old outlets that needed to be replace. The electrician arrived on time and quickly found the wiring problem. |However, to rewire the outlets and overhead lights for them to work on the switch as I wanted them would take time. I had paid for 3 hours. Instead he suggested a quick fix, putting the light on a pull chain. That took only a few minutes. After I reminded him, he replaced the old outlets and was done in less than an hour. While the electrical problem was corrected - the switches do not work to turn the lights on and off in the room - I must use a pull-chain. | |Was disappointed he did not listen to my needs. He was in a hurry and did everything fast, taking short-cuts. I am still looking for an electrician.

Description of Work: They replaced our electric panel, added GFCI's and fixed our doorbell. Basically, brought out 1966 home up to code. We have worked with Joe Gioffre Electric Co. before at a previous home for similar work. I can't say enough good things. I highly recommend them to anyone. They are knowledgable, personable and professional.

Description of Work: We had ceiling fans installed in our bedrooms and fans installed in our bathrooms as well. We are so happy with our fans and are very satisfied with the job that was done!
