Dennis replaced 6 outdoor lights and installed a dimmer switch in our dining room. He was great and was very gracious even when stung by a wasp that was hiding behind one of the old outdoor lights. He was right on time and worked very efficiently. I would definitely use this company again.

It was a good experience overall. An electrician came to my home the same day I called, which I was very happy about. He checked all the outlets I reported problems with and discovered a GFCI outlet in my kitchen needed replaced. He explained how GFCI works and how it was wired in my house, which was built over 20 years ago. Worker was professional and friendly. He wrote up the invoice quickly and honored their 10% off coupon.

They called me, they gave me the estimate, they explained the issues as best they could to me and all in all I was very pleased. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great. On time. Easy to schedule. I thought it was going to be a simple job. The area where I needed the outlet was almost right over the electrical panel in the basement. However, there was an air return vent in the way. The Electrician was able to figure it out, and only added about 30min 45min (fishing around the duct) to an otherwise <1hr job. There was a hole in the wall...but it's behind the stove. I patched it easily. He also put an end on the existing wiring that went to my old vent (per code). He left everything in a good place for my Kitchen remodel guys to fix.

Very courteous. When I called, Joe first had us look for a GFI circuit to save us a service call. It turned out to be a short in one of the outlets, which was fixed at a reasonable cost.

It went very well. Right on the money. Dennis, actual person who did the work, was very courteous, very capable, knew what I needed, cleaned up very well, was able to get over to me within 3 days of calling. Everything looks very nice and works very well.

I was very satisfied with their response, estimate and work performed. They did a great job and I would absolutely use them again.

There were frayed wires in the attic that were rigged with an extension cord and were not up to code. They brought the electrical up to code and were done in about an hour.

Very well. The electrician was able to find a break in a ceiling light wire that solved the problem.

I called and talked with Joe himself and got some information from him. He gave me some excellent suggestions on how to proceed because my current lights weren't working right. I had already purchased a new set of lights. He said it probably just needed a new electrical box and to take back the old lights. I did. They came by soon after to do the work. The lights have worked awesomely. I was very happy with the gentleman that did the work. I got a discount from Angie's List and the price was reasonable.

Every aspect was satisfactory. I had bought a light at a home improvement store that was fine when tested, but wouldn't respond after dark to any motion. I bought another light & they came back & installed it without charging me the service charge. (1st light must have been a lemon.) Cost: 3/18 $95.75, 3/21 $30 & $75 service charge.

They are excellent. A all the way down the line. I've had them before, and I'd highly recommend them.

Did a great job and came in under the amount of the estimate. There wasn't much of a mess either which was a nice plus.

Dennis arrived on time, and completed work quickly and efficiently, testing everything for proper functioning before he left. He also answered additional electrical questions for me. We also had him out to replace a faulty switch last year.

They did not come the first day they were supposed to. They were courteous though. I would use them again.

I had an appointment set up between 8:00 and 9:00am. When he hadn't arrived by 9:30 I called to see where he was. He said he called me at 7:25am to see if anyone was going to be there. I happen to be walking my dog at that time and missed his call. He blamed it on me saying it was my fault for not checking my voice mails. Who checks their voice mail at 7:30am? He feels completely justified which really irritated me.

I was impressed by Mr. Gioffre's helpfulness and desire to get me what I wanted without needless expenditure.

We were very pleased with all the people we had contact with; they were on time, polite, friendly and very knowledgeable. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience.

This is the 1st time Angie's List let me down. The canned lights in our basement kept going out, so I searched AL for an electrician and found Joe Gioffre. An employee came and said there was a short in the wiring, but he couldn't find it without tearing up the ceiling and/or some walls, so he said he'd fix it by disconnecting and capping off the last light in the circuit. I wasn't happy with the solution, but I accepted it. The electrician also replaced a dimmer switch, installed a ceiling fan control switch and fixed some crossed wires for a 3-way switch. The cost of labor seemed fair, but the cost of materials seemed very high, so I priced them at Lowe's and found out Gioffre was charging at least a 100 percent mark-up. I called to question the costs and the basement fix, and the person I spoke with got very defensive and mean. I sent a letter asking for an itemized list of materials and costs, but it's been a month and I still don't have a response. I even called to remind them!

Joe, himself, is great to talk to. Very polite, he even tried to talk me through various solutions to my problem and save me the cost of a visit. When we tried everything and could not solve the problem he sent out one his guys the next day. The electrician arrived on time. He, also, looked for the lowest cost solution. Did great work; he was friendly, explained everything, took his time to do the job right and even waived a few costs for materials. Would definitely use these guys again. Very, very happy with their work and their attitude which are both top notch.

Computer company said that I needed a dedicated line, But then he came out and grounded the outlet and it works fine. He saved me $200.00.

He was very open and honest told me what was wrong with the problem over the phone.

Very prompt service with nice people. Had many other estimates but we would have waited weeks for service. We are very happy with their service and will use them again in the near future.

The estimator met me as planned, however he was more interested in telling me how difficult/impossible the job was instead of looking for ways to get it done. At the end of the walk through, I became so frustrated that I simply said give me an estimate to move the panels and forget about everything else. I gave him my fax number to send the estimate. Six business days later, I called and asked if they could send me the quote and I was told by Joe Gioffre that it's time and materials: Sixty dollar per hour for 1 person. I find it hard to believe that they couldn't give me a quote for moving a panel; maybe they've never done it before. I'm just frustrated that I spent an hour with them walking through the project and then waited a week for them to tell me $60/hr. I could have gotten that off of Angie's List.

Gave me helpful information on an outlet I was having problems with. He advised me to reset the outlet and everything works now. I will definitely hire them again in the future.
