I am waiting for him to come back. He is very good but you would never know when he is coming. I probably not use him after this. He does not know how to communicate.

They were wonderful. They were quick and neatly cleaned up after themselves. Everything looked good and works great.

The service was superb. The workman had a little trouble running the wire from the circuit breaker box in the basement to the garage. But, once done, everything went well. I have other electrical work to do and won't hesitate to contact them again.

Rick showed up at the agreed upon time and date with a smile on his face and all his material needs in tow. He worked diligently for 6-7 hours and the panel upgrade was complete. We were very happy with the detail shown to the installation (e.g. breakers were labeled; wires were well organized; messes were cleaned). It was not until a couple weeks later that we discovered that the weather cap was taking in water. Water was trickling into sheath from riser at the weather cap and flowing down to the electrical panel. We called Joe immediately and he had Rick onsite addressing the problem within an hour. Because of inclement weather conditions he could only do a short term fix. The following week Rick returned and changed out our weather cap and placed our riser in conduit. So far so good on the permanent fix! Even though we experienced some issues, the response from Joe and his Team was above and beyond our expectations. We truly appreciated their efforts and their impeccable work product.

Decided to replace electric cooktop with gas. Had plumbing work done. When installers came for cooktop, they pointed out that I need an outlet for 120 not 240. Was very pleased with the quickness of response from Gioffre Electric.

We used him once and he was fine. He did fine and what he was expected to do. I don’t think I have any negatives. I don’t know about the price because I didn’t check it with anybody else. I probably would use him again in the future.

It was excellent service. The technician called about 30 minutes before arriving. He arrived on time. He was extremely professional, and courteous, and completed his work efficiently and effectively. It took him some time. He went through it and was thorough with everything. I was satisfied with the service and the price.

Rick came over on Tuesday and worked on it for 3-4 hours and still couldn't get them working. He came back the next day with his boss, Joe, and they worked on them for a little over an hour together and got everything working again. They were both very polite and professional throughout the entire experience. I thought the price was very reasonable considering how many hours were actually spent on working on the issue. My husband and I will definitely be calling Joe and Rick in the near future. Thank you guys very much!

Did estimate on a Friday afternoon, and scheduled work for following Tuesday. Estimated 2-hours of work, and completed in less than time planned. Very courteous; called in advance of arrival; professional work done to code; cleaned up work area afterwards. Re-arranged breakers on an older panel that was "full", to make room for new 50 Amp circuit; ran romex through joists, and thru frame sill into attached garage, installed conduit on wall, and box with special outlet. Quick, no-nonsense worker who was very helpful, on-time, and clean (wore slippers over work shoes inside house). I'd definitely recommend this small business again.

I needed a new outside plug and wanted to have a ceiling fan installed. When the ceiling could not accommodate the fan box and I could not have the fan, they took off the some of the time the could have charged me for, which I thought that was nice since they were not responsible for the issue. I would use them again.

They did an excellent job. He came on time and he was very efficient and fast. I have high ceilings and he stood on top of the ladder. He also replaced all of my smoke alarms. I thought they were reasonable priced. He was neat and clean, efficient. I would use them again.

It went well and you I would call them again in a heartbeat. They were neat, clean, nice gentlemen that came. I felt confident in them being in my home.

Was able to schedule an appointment for a day and time that worked for me without difficulty. The serviceman, Rick, arrived right on time. He was very personable. Unfortunately, he was unable to perform/fix any of the 4 projects/problems. Essentially, I paid $80 for nothing. I'll have to hire another electrician to complete the work. Very disappointed.

I obtained multiple estimates from several companies on Angies List but chose Joe Gioffre because they were willing to wire the fans with new switches to operate the light and fan separately. Most other companies would only use an existing switch in the base estimate. Rick showed up on time, wired and installed three ceilng fans in three bedrooms within a few hours at a reasonable price. The Angies list discount also helped. He was prompt, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. I will use this company for future electrical projects and would recommend them to friends and family.

Went very well. When installers came on the 29th to install new gas cook-top, I was informed there should be a 120 outlet. In less than 24 hours, the job was completed.

I installed a ceiling fan in my daughter's bedroom, the light switch was on a dimmer.Called in, had the dimmer replaced with a flip switch - electrician came out the same day as the call in - was fast and courteous.

Approximately 2 weeks ago my AC suddenly cut out and my digital thermostat went blank. Several days later I noticed that the thermostat was visible again. The AC technician was coming later that day and could not find anything amiss; however, just before he left the problem manifested itself. He determined that it was an electrical problem - the voltage to the furnace was cutting out. I called Joe Gioffre on Friday and he had an electrician over on Monday afternoon. After some searching he checked the breaker box and found a loose wire for the furnace. He repaired it; checked the outside connections and the AC is now working.

Rick, the electrician, called at 10:00 AM to give an expected arrival time of 11:30 AM. He was 10 minutes early. We went through the list of tasks and he got to work. He worked steadily and only asked for clarification once on a task item. Everything was completed in two and a half hours and he was on his way by 1:00 PM. Everything about the work was first rate and the price was very reasonable. It's been just over two weeks and no problems have occurred. The next time I need electrical work done, I'll definitely call Joe Gioffre Electric Co.

I liked that they were on time, and they knew what they were doing. He was quite efficient, and did not leave a mess. I was happy with what he did. The price was very good, and the quality was excellent. I would recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Returned my initial call promptly. Technician called before he arrived and showed when he said he would. Service was very professional and completed timely for a fair price.
