Jody responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I liked his attitude right from the start. His pricing was reasonable for the work to be done. He came out last week and did the lawn, followed by bed cleaning, edging and trimming. He did a good job and cleaned up all the debrit. He will continue to maintain my lawn with mowing and fertilization throughout the growing season. I plan to have him install a drain in my yard in the near future. I am very satisfied with his work.

Jody is great. He is punctual and honest and we are happy with the work he does.

Company responded promptly to our request for a visit and quote on repair work to our lawn, including removal of a dead ornamental tree. The visit was during the end of winter, and work began immediately once the weather had warmed. Part of the work was to re-do a failed lawn repair from the previous year by another company. They filled in the sunken portion over the trench work, and filled in a sunken section of the backyard where water always ponds in heavy rain. Grass was seeded with patching material over the tops of these areas. The level is now nearly indistinguishable from the rest of the yard, and it has withstood multiple heavy rains since (unlike the last repair). The company prepared and seeded a bare patch on our side yard, and it is now growing in nicely. The final job was the removal of a dead ornamental tree from the front yard, leaving just a low stump. The company does not normally do stump-grinding, and we elected to leave this work for other tree work we will contract to a tree service later this year. Work was done promptly, and the only sign of the workers was the completed project - no messes or other detritus was left behind. We were most grateful that they got it done as soon as weather permitted, as the grass has had time to establish itself before the hot weather comes in. We would consider this company again for other landscaping work

I was responsible for mowing the lawn at the apartment i lived in last year. The lawn didn't seem so big last winter when I moved in but by April it was a jungle that was to big for me or my electric lawn mower to deal with. A friend from work gave me Jody's number and he came the next day after i called. That day he trimmed the bushes in the front yard, cleaned out the beds on both sides of the house and he mowed the lawn. The yard looked great! and Jody was even able to tell me what all of the plants were in my yard. I had him mow the lawn weekly from then on and he did a great job! He billed me once a month and sent all invoices to my email address which was very convenient for me. At the end of October i was planning on moving and had J.L. Landscapes do a final clean up of the yard. Once again he did a great job and did exactly what i asked him to do. In my opinion the yard was in much better shape than it was when i moved in. My landlord agreed and didn't hesitate returning my deposit which has never happened to me before. I have moved to an apartment now without any grass or yard and so i haven't used J.L. Landscapes this year however I have recommended him to friends and family and when i eventually buy a home J.L. Landscapes will be who handles all of my landscaping needs.

JL Landscaping has performed an outstanding service from start to finish. They show up when they say they're going to. The workers are always friendly and professional. The yards have always been cleaned up after each stage of the process. Many of our neighbors have commented on how nice the yard looks -- even neighbors that we didn't previously know have stopped and commented on the improvements to our property.

We are an non-profit group home with a large estate. Jody, owner of J.L. Landscapes has maintained our lawn in years past and we have been extremely satisfied with his work. In 2009 and 2010 Jody has organized and directed volunteer groups of 60+ students from O.S.U. to mulch and clean up the estate on a seasonal basis. Jody has also helped organize and direct a community garden on our estate the past few years.
