It's really wonderful but it took a long time, but 'm happy with the result.

Although it can be a bit difficult at times to get a timely response from Jody, he was here when he said he would be and did terrific work. The fertilizer never quite got done, but he did offer to return and do it. He's honest, fair, and a hard worker. Yes, I'd hire him again.

He got very busy with paver and other hardscape projects elsewhere and was not able to help me through the season as I had expected. Finally he did tell me he would be back late in the season to see what needed to be done, when he was in the neighborhood, and that did not happen. I think he got overextended in 2015 and couldn't deliver on everything I needed. I have found other help for maintenance but would recommend him for single projects if he can commit to them now.

Excellent - meticulous job across the board. It was obvious he takes pride in his work as do his assistants. He always replied back in a timely manner when I had a question or to schedule. Great work!

Overall the landscape consultation and plan went great.

Drawing was good. No follow up and went with another company.

Jody dug out a couple of large flower beds for us and seeded them for grass. This may sounds like a small job, but due to the root systems in these beds it was quite a bit of work. Jody presented us with a "not to exceed" estimate prior to starting the job, and he actually came in below the estimate, which was appreciated. Jody has also assisted us in digging out a foundation for a new walkway/patio.

I have been using their services for a few years. They are punctual and courteous. They always do what they say they are going to do. Scheduling is very easy and they are able to do the work when I am not home.

Overall it was good, but the estimate was really expensive and they didn’t come back to explain things thoroughly to me. The plans alone weren’t enough to make a decision. I wish he would have at least called me. I would have liked him to walk back through the plans with me. I think he was just overwhelmed to the response to the Big Deal because he was listening and seemed knowledgeable.

Jody has performed work for us for over a year. All work was done as needed or as requested. All work was completed as expected and to our satisfaction. My husband commented that our yard has never looked better during the winter months! We have counted on Jody's expertise many times in selecting plants for the yard as well as placement. We highly recommend Jody and will continue to use him for any of our landscape and yard work.

Jody was easy to work with, did a great job, on time and on budget. New grass seed was planted at exactly the right time and looks great; I hope tree does as well over the next year.

Never received services, asked for a refund and got no response!!!!!!!!!

Jody was excellent. He provided honest assessments of the situation and sought my opinions. HIs demeanor was friendly and I felt that I could really trust his professionalism and ethics. The work was done with a high level of quality and in a timely manner. Jody and I agreed to several Do Not Exceed estimates. When the work was finalized, the labor and supplies was more than the agreed upon amount. However, his invoice reflected the do not exceed estimate. I would certainly recommend Jody to anyone and will be happy to have him service my lawn again in the future.

The entire experience was great. We bought one of Angie's Big Deals for a landscape design and were very happy with Jody, so we decided to hire him to complete the actual work. Jody was very professional and his knowledge about the plants was outstanding. Jody took the time to answer any questions we had, and we had a lot. The work was complete in about 3 days and actually came in well under the original quote due to the thrifty plant shopping of Jody. How many times do contractors do that?

The owner Jody contacted me quickly and was very helpful in explaining options for an outdoor patio (this was just the planning stage, so no actual construction was done). The relatively simple two-dimensional plan did not take long to generate and looks nice. No complaints at all, will be following up. More research is needed to know how actual installation prices compare with others.

All around they have done a really great job. I have used JL Landscapes for the past 8 years. I own and operate my own commercial/residential real estate company where we own, operate, and maintain our own properties. JL Landscapes has been our exclusive landscaper for both our business and personal needs. They have done everything from mowing and regular maintenance to designing services that have created some beautiful landscaping at our homes as well as out commercial properties. The price and quality of work has always been at a level the meets our standards and they continue to do so. Lastly, we have been extremely impressed with the design work that JL Landscapes has provided at our commercial buildings as well has my home. The thought and strategy that has gone into the design in my back/front yard have been more then great. They came up with a design that includes strategic position of bushs, a paver patio, and some great flower arrangements that as a whole, has given my home an instant boost in value. Again, I would highly recommend JL Landscapes to anyone for there residential/ commercial needs.

He came out and was very pleasant when he was at my home. He sent me a plan via email for his recommendations. I considered the plan was not very specific. I initially told him that I really wanted a shade tree for my backyard. Which he did not even include in the plan. I thought it was far less than what I believed that the advertising for the deal would have included. I was very disappointed

They did a great job and the yard looked great when then were done! Completed all work on time and hauled away all the waste, etc.

Jody is fantastic! I found him on Angie's List and he came to the house to meet with me prior to providing any estimate for services to get a feel for exactly what I wanted done. He is extremely knowledgeable, fair, professional and always does exactly what is needed and exactly when he says he will do it. Well worth the dollars to remove the hassle factor alone. I never have to worry about the lawn or landscaping and it looks better than ever.

Jody is awesome. He is very responsive, punctual, flexible and knowledgable. He handles all of my lawn and landscaping needs. This particular time, I had emailed him the previous week asking if he would do stump removal. He said yes and would be out on Monday to get started. Well, I called him Monday and asked if he could also clean up the flower beds while he was here, because we are attempting to sell our home and I just don't have time. He said yes again :D. Then, the day he was here cleaning up I asked if he could also mow and he said yes to that too! LOL! I really don't think he has ever told me "no" at this point. I love it! He is just so easy going and great to work with. He is so knowledgable as well. His knowledge of the plants (and their needs) is fantastic. He also gives me lots of options when dealing with them (organic, cheap, expensive, etc.). We really talk out the best strategy and then he is happy to do what I chose. I plan to use Jody to do my landscaping in our new home. He is the best!

I had to have them come out again as some of the services we agreed to had not been completed, but I had no problems them coming the second time and completing the work requested. They do mow the grass a little higher, but if that is what you like, I'm sure this company is perfect for you.
