The company replaced our roof five years ago. Since then, parts of our fascia cover have come off a couple of times during severe storms. Considering how busy they are after a severe storm, the company has responded within a reasonable time (4 weeks) to replace the fascia cover.

Office personnel were very helpful in selection, adding some options and scheduling. Installation was subbed out which caused several problems. There was only one worker who spoke English, so it was tough to communicate with the crew when they're on the 2nd story of your house. Added a vent which they did not locate properly; next to joist which makes it impossible to use without alterations. They spliced 3 pieces of valley flashing at the worst location - i.e the one you see as you approach the front door.. If they were running out of flashing they could have done this in other locations where it wouldn't have been visible. Sent out one of their own employees who riveted the sections together so the seams were not as obvious.found dozens of long staples in the driveway and around the house after clean up. the outfit with the dumpster left marks on the driveway when they pulled it out. Baker gave us a small deduct, $70 for all of the problems. Most of the problems could have been avoided!

They were very prompt and courteous. They cleaned up nicely after themselves. They provided really good customer service over the phone. I was very pleased with how everything turned out.

On Sunday 9/14/08 the remnants of Hurricane Ike hit our roof and numerous sets of shingles from the detached garage and house were blown off and several sets were raised vertically. I called at 8:00 AM Monday morning to ask for emergency repairs and was told that the earliest someone could be there was Wednesday (3 days later). Which seemed imminently reasonable given extent of damage to homes throughout the service area. The crew arrived on Wednesday, replaced all shingles (we supplied shingles from reserve supply left after previous reroofing). We were very impressed that we were able to get such quick service and were further impressed that the crew not only dealt with our request (replace shingles blown off) but also caulked several areas and tightened nails that were loosened on gutters. Most impressive was that the company was reachable and so responsive. Their thoroughness was an unexpected bonus.

I called the company and spoke to a real person. They called me and came out as promised for a small repair. Mike brought his crew. They were quick, clean and friendly. They went on the roof, gave me an estimate and I agreed for them to perform the work. Couldn't ask for more. If they were this helpful for a small repair then I would surely recommend them for a large job. Very trustworthy.

I received the estimate within a couple of days or so, but thought their price was a little high.

In both instances in which we have used this contractor, the work has been done to our total satisfaction.

The guys worked with me very well. They let me know whenever there was a problem. I would highly recommend them or use them again.

Really great. Mr. Baker himself came to my home, we discussed the issues. He assessed the situation and submitted a bid. I accepted and within the week the repairs were made. Very pleased with all aspects of this situation and would highly recommend this company to others.

They came when they said they would and did exactly what they said they would. They cleaned up when they were finished. They were friendly and courteous. I had no problems at all.

We hired the company last summer to come and replace our roof. We had a really bad storm start while they were still working and the roof was not all the way dry- so the entire second floor was wet. The company did come out to do emergency work on our home. They will be returning this summer to redo the work they were supposed to do last summer.

Two story house with original gutters, rusting out and causing major problem with rain water close to house. They improvised excellent cleanout junctions where the downspouts joined the ground pipe out to the city storm sewer. The results have proved to be excellent... they worked very well with the unique needs of the project.

They did not show, they did not call, I called four times (left two messages, and spoke with a live person twice). Each time I was assured that "someone" (presumably Mr. Baker) would stop by to provide an estimate. After approximately two weeks, I called the dispatcher to relay that if I did not get an estimate today that I would seek assistance elsewhere.

My priority was the quality of their work and the advice they gave. They were experienced and did a good job on the roof.

Everything was fine. I appreciated the honesty. They are practice. Punctual. Stuck to the estimate. Very thorough and efficient.

We have had a long standing relationship with them. They have always done a good job. Their crew the last time did not speak english so it was difficult to raise my concerns. They have since come out to touch some things up, and have done a good job.

The job did not go so well. It ended up their was no manager on site and the communication was very difficult. They would work when it was not light. We had a leak in the bay window they had to come out and fix and left a mess in the attic. Overall, I would not use them again.

Baker Sons had the entire job (large roof) done in one day. I am very pleased with the quality and professionalism of their work. There was no damage to my landscape and they cleaned up all their materials from my property. Teresa (their office manager) was very helpful and responsive to my needs. I didn't get other estimates, so I can't confirm that their pricing is higher or lower than others, but I know I got my money's worth, as I have recently dealt with another company for roofing on some rental properties and it was a nightmare dealing with the other company. Baker Sons kept me informed, performed the work well and on time and came out the next day to inspect and approve the work before invoicing me.

Brad Baker responded quickly to our request for an estimate and was very helpful in answering all of our questions. The crew completed the job in only one day. They did an excellent job both in the installation of the new roof and the clean up afterward. I would highly recommend this company.

It went great. The leak was above my shower area and needed to be repaired. It occurred during one of our very windy, rainy times. Many homes had a lot of damage. We had a leak that if it was not soon repaired, would cost much more for interior repairs. The company was very, very helpful in working in this small job when they had not even installed the original roof. I can't thank them enough.

Planning for the new roof was well performed with good interaction between me, Kelly Parton and Wayne Baker. Design modifications were introduced to take into account the low pitch of our roof and improvement of the roof ventilation with the introduction of soffit vents and additional roof vents. The job was well performed in a timely manner. Connecting bathroom vents, a difficult job, was performed well.

They did a great job. They did everything they said they would.

Crew arrived around 9:00 am and were done around 5:30 pm. Crew seem to be experienced and knew what they were doing. Someone came 2 days later and finished the chimney flashings and painted them.

THE FIRST DAY WENT WELL. THEY WERE HERE ON TIME, EARLY IN THE MORNING WITH THE SUPPLIES, THEN THE DUMPSTER CAME RIGHT AFTER THEN THE FOREMAN AND THE WORKERS AND THEY STARTED RIGHT AWAY. THE FOREMAN DID NOT STAY. I LET HIM KNOW MY CONCERNS ABOUT THE NAILS IN OUR GRAVEL DRIVEWAY AND HE ASSURED ME THEY HAD A MAGNET AND WOULD CLEAN UP WELL. WHAT A MESS I HAD AFTER THEY WERE DONE FOR THE DAY. THEY LEFT A LOT OF STUFF LAYING AROUND - I SPENT AN HOUR CLEANING UP JUST SO MY 83 YR OLD MOTHER COULD GET OUTSIDE WITH HER DOG THAT HAS ARTHRITIS. THEY DID NOT COME BACK FOR 3 DAYS TO PICK UP THEIR SUPPLIES THEY LEFT IN THE DRIVEWAY OR DO AN INSPECTION. I CALLED TO ASK AND NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. 20-YEAR OLD KIDS DID THE INSPECTION & FINISHED. SOME OF THE GUTTERS HAD TO BE TAKEN OFF AND DAYS WENT BY BEFORE THEY CAME BACK AND FINISHED AND THEY DID NOT DO IT RIGHT AND HAD TO COME BACK AGAIN. I WAS NOT HAPPY IT POURED DOWN RAIN. FINALLY EVERYTHING IS COMPLETE.

Very positive. Took care of everything promptly The workers/labors who actually worked were very hardworking and at the same time very meticulous. They did not do hasty work. Finished product looks good. Honest, punctual, prompt. No complaints. Can hire without thinking twice.
