I called this company to take a look at the spot on the ceiling to see if we had a roof leak. I had called a few other companies in the area to come out and they all wanted to perform thousands of dollars of repairs. The estimator from JF Bakers Sons came out and said the issue was an ice dam and while you can do things to the roof to maybe prevent it, you can't 100% prevent it. All of the other companies made the same diagnosis, but NONE said you can't fully prevent an ice dam. They would have gladly had me pay them for a job that may not have even solved the issue. I was very impressed with the honesty and integrity of this company. The estimator also took the time to go up in my attic to make sure there weren't any leaks. NONE of the other companies did that. He also answered everything question I had. If I have need any roof repairs or a new roof, this company will be my first phone call because of this experience.

Not only did they have the best price they wetevthe most professional. Only one to see house gad a rather flat pitch which required special treatment but explained fully and did what was needed. Only bid that did not require 50% up front. Worked with my schedule and were done in one day with superb cleanup. Hardly knew they were working. Total professionals which i have already rrcommended to 3 other people.

It was as good as any experience I've had with house repairs. J.F.Baker's Sons were thorough and the results of all the repairs were excellent. I've added them to my list of "must use" home service providers.

I have used Baker Roofing a number of times in the past and I called them when I saw a leak a few weeks ago. Brad Baker came out and climbed up to see what was going on. He quickly identified the problem and explained exactly what the issue was. He described what work was necessary. I agreed to his number and he left. A few days later I discovered a gentleman on the roof. He was working at the repair. He climbed down and mentioned that there were some roof shingles that were sticking up. I asked him what I should do. He said that he would fix them while he was there! No more leaks and he fixed something before a problem was created!

Very competetive quote. I received the quote very quickly, the estimate write up was throrough and professional. From everything I have seen they would have done a good job on the roof.

The job went really well from start to finish. Brad Baker came out to our home and looked at every aspect of our roof and answered all my questions. He sent the quote quickly and they were able to start the roof 2 weeks later. We interviewed several roofing companies and are glad we chose them. Alex was the crew foreman. He was very nice and really new what he was doing. All the men worked very hard and had the old roof torn off and replaced in 2 days. It looks beautiful and we are very pleased.

They did an excellent job. I would recommend to anyone. They worked with me on schedule to show up as soon as possible after soffit and fascia work was done. Neighbors commented how impressed they were with the clean up as well. Overall, great work.

They came out within a week after calling. Since their patch work, we have had no issues with the leak again!

We have used J. F. Baker's Sons for a number of years. Brad Baker comes out and makes the initial look-see and we have always found him trustworthy and on-target with his assessment. His workers come out and make the repairs in a timely manner, get right to work, no muss, no fuss. We believe the cost is appropriate and have always found the work done to hold-up and be spot-on with what was needed. Everyone is pleasant and professional. We are happy clients and that is why we have continued to use them over the years.

It went very well. The workers showed up exactly when scheduled, they were neat and polite and worked very efficiently. The finished job looks great. The premises were completely cleaned up upon completion of the job and no damage was done to the house or the shrubbery around the house. A very fine company to work with.

The roof is fine, as are the slates, but to clear downspout, which gutter cleaners won't do bc of the slate roof, they removed it and didn't put it back securely. It's now sitting on my lawn. They also put the detritus in my lower gutters which are now clogged. I called to have them come back and they said they would but it's been over a week.

These folks are saints. I am selling my house and when the roof remedy request came, they gave me a really quick and fair estimate. Then, the buyers fell through and I had another buyer, with another different request. They were quick to give me an updated estimated. I signed the contract on a Thursday, they were out Saturday morning, finished the job, gave me what I need for the buyer. I couldn't be more pleased. Did I mention I have box gutters? Yeah. So they get a double gold star in my book.

Baker Roofing Co did a good job. They explained the process really well, the type of ventilation to put in, and spent lot of time with me, drew out some diagrams, showed me choices in the materials, explained what works better. They were just very efficient in getting work done.

Mr. Baker first came to assess the situation. He said my roof was in good condition and there was no leak. He also told me to keep an eye on it and make sure the spot on the ceiling doesn't change color. He said if I wanted the peace of mind, he would give me a proposal for the gaskets. The cost was 25% of a bid from another local company. I accepted the proposal because I thought he was extremely trustworthy.

They replaced loose shingles. They were one of the few willing roofers to take a small job. Others just refused to return calls. The worker was courteous and quick. When we have further needed work this is who we will call.

Went beautifully. I had used them on my former residence.

Just an estimate so far...will use next year.

I was thinking of getting a new roof and siding on my house and wanted estimates on the work. I also have a detached garage which needs some repairs. Brad gave me great information on every aspect of the projects, including pointing out what didn't really need to be done or what wouldn't be a worthwhile return on investment. I learned so much and was able to solve one problem with the garage much easier, cheaper and more quickly than I'd thought thanks to Brad's ideas. Other expenses have come up so I'm postponing my updates for now (and thanks to Brad's info I know I have no urgent roof needs and can wait) but this company will definitely be at the top of my list when I do get back to these home improvement chores. I called them based on a recommendation from a friend who enthusiastically endorsed them, I agree with her 100% and will use this company in the future.

They were very responsive and we were pleased with them. No repair work was needed from the storm that did a lot of damage.

Brad Baker came out to give an estimate . He took time inspecting the house and then met with us to review his estimate. He had a brochure of the shingles he would use and detailed how he would handle specific problem areas. He sent us a detailed contract two days after our meeting. We returned the contract and they promptly called us to set the date. Wayne Baker told us to expect the shingles to be at the house by 7:00am, and gave us the name of the crew leader and supervisor. The crew arrived as expected at 8:00 and began removing the old roof. They worked until 7:30 pm, cleaned up and left with the roof installed except for finishing flashing, gutter covers, etc. Workers returned the next couple of days to finish. Everyone was very professional. The team carefully removed the white gutter covers which we had in place. I started to wash them before they were replaced and the supervisor stepped in and took care of it before they were put back up. Hard work from everyone involved.

They get top marks. I've used them before and they did terrific work so I called them again and again they did an incredible job. They came out and did some repair work, tightened them up. It is copper gutter. Probably most people don't work with it. It is important to the architectural look of the house to have this particular style of gutter. When I had the gutters put on 30 years ago it was a man and his son that did the work. When I called them this time, it was the son that came out. I thought it was pretty amazing that it was the same person 30 year later. I think it was a great price for the work.

They were very professional and punctual. Came out to survey the issue and determined that the seal around the vent had cracked which was causing the leak to occur. They returned a few weeks later after we agreed to the estimate and had the work done within an hour. They also installed flashing above the garage which had been overlooked when the home was built. The work looks great. One thing that did concern me was the disclaimer on their estimate which stated they did not guarantee their work and should their initial work be unsuccessful in resolving the issue and if they would need to make a return trip, there would be additional costs. Since the things we needed done weren't too involved, we decided to have them do the job. They did great work and I would recommend them to others.

Everything went very well. I have used bakers sons several times in the past and will continue to do so. They have been roofing our church for 50 years.

It turned out well, The company put up ice guards. Once they were informed what the problem was by the insurance company, they did a nice job. They just couldn't identify the problem themselves. Inall fairness, five companies over seven years could not identify the problem. Baker has been a good company to work with over the years - they sincerely want to make sure they do a good job.
