The experience was great.

They had done some work for a friend of mine and did a good job so we had them come out and they talked through our options with us. We placed the order and the installation was delayed because of lack of communication. So as a result they installed a custom product for an off the shelf price to make up for it. They did good work. The crew was fabulous and took three days to complete the job.

I felt that their pricing was high, but I wanted quality; I feel that you get what you pay for. I purchased the windows in batches, the most unsightly windows first and after I saw how good they turned out, I went ahead and purchased the rest of windows. They had a crew headed up by Billy and his two sons, and they did a really good job. They covered everything, putting plastic over my bedding and other areas which impressed me.

They had a fair price for what they did. They came in and did a good job. They were quick and efficient as well. Everything went smoothly and they did a good job, very professional.

Most of the story above. I have tried unsuccessfully to call the first company my neighbor had used who warned me it was hard to get answers, but the job would be o.k. After three tries, a postcard ad advertised Renewal by Anderson with $200 reduction on doors. Called the number and scheduled first measurement. See above for rest of the story except for an obvious question: what about windows? I already had Anderson windows and was pre-sold on the product. The price I paid compared fairly to what my neighbor paid for 3-section patio door (about one-half).

The sales pitch was fairly typical of this industry. I went to the sales room since it was close to home to see the actual windows in a simulated install environment. It was nice they had a cutout of the majority of the competitors windows so you could do a side by side comparison. I was told it would take about 5 weeks to get the windows in after my windows were measured. The estimate was fairly accurate. It took another four weeks after the windows arrived to set a install date. I would suggest getting an install date as close to the order arrival date if you would like to have the windows installed in less than two months from the order date. I did not receive a conformation call prior to the install date, but the installers arrived on time and completed the install in one day. I was a bit concerned they could get it done in time but there were 3 of them, a father and 2 sons, who had quite a bit of experience. They completed the job by 4:30 p.m. and arrived at 8:30 a.m.

The salesman was punctual (early actually), very friendly and helpful. He described everything very well and helped us select exactly what we wanted, although he did fail to tell us about a few options that I would have liked (I saw them in the brochure later). The installation crew was very professional and cleaned up after themselves for the most part. Unfortunately, once the installation crew left, we never heard from the company again (the work was performed 3 months ago) - no follow up call or visit from the salesman as promised, and they also did not drop off the handles to replace the ones that were the wrong color. Minor issues, but still issues. We will call them next year to do the rest of the house.

They were very good. We had used for a door. We referred Renewal By Anderson to our neighbors.

They did a very nice job, were reliable, and very professional. They did an excellent clean up job afterwards.

There was a serious communication problem between sales and installation that caused huge problems for us. Not enough time was scheduled for our job, so the subcontractor had to come out twice. A verbal agreement to reduce the price because of misinformation about what the cost of installation would cover was not honored. The company never contacted us when problems arose, we always had to contact them. The installers (Hegg Brothers) were very good, but other than that, our overall experience was terrible.

Installation went well. The two men worked very hard all day to get the job done. The quality of their work was very good. It goes down hill from there. One window was defective, and it took another 26 days to replace it and complete the job.

Submitted request on-line and got a call from their Cleveland office. They encouraged me to drive up to the store. When I got there, they were closed. I verified the hours and came back the next day. They were closed again, even though I was there within the store hours. Due to the holidays, they closed early. I spoke to them the next day, and they wanted me to come out again. I got the feeling that they weren't going to be able to get me what I needed anyway, so I didn't waste another trip.

THE SALESMAN WAS INCREDIBLE. HELPING US TO SELECT WINDOWS TO ENHANCE OUR HOME. HE TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN THE TYPE OF WINDOWS RENEWAL OFFERED AND TO ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS (MANY) WE HAD REGARDING HOW THE NEW WINDOWS WOULD AVOID THE PROBLEMS (AGAIN, MANY) WE HAD EXPERIENCED WITH OUR EXISTING WINDOWS. WE HAD QUESTIONS REGARDING POSSIBLE HIDDEN DAMAGE THAT MIGHT EXIST AT OUR HOME, AND HE ANSWERED OUR QUESTIONS AS TO HOW THESE UNFORTUNATE POSSIBILITIES WOULD BE ADDRESSED DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS. HE ALSO SUGGESTED WINDOW STYLES FOR DIFFERENT PLACES THAT WE WOULD NOT HAVE THOUGHT OF OR EVEN KNEW WERE AN OPTION. WE TOOK HIS ADVICE AND WE ARE SO PLEASED WITH THE RESULT OF HIS SUGGESTIONS. THE WINDOWS WERE DONE A COUPLE WEEKS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. THE INSTALLERS WERE DONE IN TWO DAYS. THEY LOOKED FOR THE POSSIBLE PROBLEMS WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT AND DID REMOVE ROTTEN WOOD WHERE NECESSARY. THEY WERE ON TIME, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND DID A GREAT JOB!

THE ONLY COMPLAINT THAT WE HAD IS THAT THEY DIDN'T TELL US WE WERE GOING FROM MAINTENANCE FREE TO MAINTENANCE WINDOWS. (REQUIRED CAULKING) THEY DID REALLY WORK WITH ME IN POSITIONING THE WINDOWS TO MAKE MY BLINDS FIT. THEY USED SPECIAL TRIM. I WOULD CONSIDER USING THEM AGAIN.
