Just wanted to leave a review. I didn't actually have work performed by Hydra but sent out a service request when my sump failed and basement partially flooded. The owner called me personally and discussed the issue and without even coming and looking at the problem immediately knew the issue. Steered me in a different direction to seek out the help of a plumber instead. Wanted to put a review on here to thank the owner for his help and professionalism.

Excellent. The worked extremely well with us on the timing of and amount of time the job. They were friendly, communicative and friendly. Very pleased with the work.

Noe and his crew were very professional, Ours was not an easy job and everything that we asked of them they were completely accomodating and flexible. They came in, moved and covered everything in our basement, and when it was over, they did an amazing job of putting everything back together. They had to move our whole house water filter, washing machine, and furnace to get the trench dug, and they job they did re-plumbing all of them was better than they were to begin with! Very friendly with kids and dogs, would have them back anytime. The work appears to be very high quality.

The owner Pat was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. A crew was sent out on an off day because of his concerns about our sump pump. The crew led by Noe was very experienced and helped us understand that much of the problem was due to landscaping and structural issues. He addressed the current problems and helped us map out the next steps to ensure a long-term solution. They came in lower than the original estimate. My neighbors have also had a very good experience with Hydra. They really know their stuff and were very fair. Highly recommend them!

installed a water drain connected to existing sump pump. installed I-beams to correct bowing walls. it's going to take time to push the bow in wall back.

Pat came out to provide an estimate for a foundation repair. He advised us that the problem was only cosmetic and gave us advice on how to address the problem cracks ourselves. He was very professional and we certainly appreciated his honesty and advice. If we were to ever need work done, Hydra would be at the top of our list.

From the first meeting with Pat to the final day of work we were pleased with the whole team’s patience answering our questions. Rick and his team were very efficient and, despite all the concrete drilling, etc., they left us with a relatively easy cleanup. Whenever it came time to install 70 feet of outside drainage Rick had started with a machine to aid with the digging. Whenever he realized, after a few feet, that it was really tearing the yard up he and his team dug the rest by hand...definitely above and beyond. Overall the team was very personable and congenial and we would recommend these guys anytime.

Excellent! This is the second time I have used Hydra for separate issues and each time they have been the definition of professionalism and promptness. After some heavy rains last month we were left with standing water in our finished basement. Turns out our existing sump pump just wasn't doing the job. After talking with Pat, we had Noe come out to tell us what he would recommend in terms of equipment and labor, then within a week his guys came out and finished the job. I feel very confident with our new sump pump system and my wife and I are excited to use our basement again now that football season is about to start. We have Noe, Pat and his crew to thank. Here is the icing on the cake though, after they finished the job I had them check our downspouts to make sure they were draining properly. Having been in the house about 2 years we have had the gutters cleaned and even had part of our underground down spouts snaked. We were left with a mystery though as to where half the houses down spouts exited our property. Noe and his guys spent at least an extra hour in 90 degree weather digging and determining where to uncover the pipes. When they finally found the termination we all realized that they still needed to connect to the curb, they were 15 foot short! My house is 6 years old and the builder never connected our spouts to the road! Now we have an easy fix to solve the problem and a beefed up sump pump to boot. If it wasn't for these guys going the extra mile it would be all but guaranteed that they would be back out again some time. Peace of mind is well worth the cost.

I contacted 6 companies to get recommendations and estimates for addressing my damp basement. All of them recommended a waterproofing system, some also recommended more extensive remedies. I felt most comfortable with Pat, the owner of Hydra. He took a more conservative approach than most of the other companies. He was very patient in explaining the whole waterproofing process and answering my questions. He even was willing to return for a 2nd visit before I made a final decision. The actual job took a little less than 3 days and went very smoothly. Noe, the crew foreman, was very easy to work with. He gave me updates on what was happening and encouraged me to ask questions during the process. I appreciated the fact that the crew was very respectful of my property. They covered everything in the basement with plastic to protect against dust and they made sure to protect the flooring on the path between the exterior door and the basement. I also noticed they were very careful to avoid bumping anything when carrying equipment in and out, and they never let doors slam. They did a good job of cleaning up when the job was finished. Overall it was a positive experience.

Pat spent a significant amount of time talking through his findings and why he didn't feel that any modifications were needed; even though this meant he wouldn't be getting a job. If we have any need for basement waterproofing or structural support in the future, we will definitely be calling Hydra!

Pat Kirby and his Hydra Basement Waterproofing team are very responsive and professional. This is the second time we've use Hydra. The first was about 10 years ago when they did a full basement internal drain job. Most recently only a portion of the basement needed internal drainage. Pat went out of his way to help us with recommendations, not only on the job we hired him for, but also general guidance on other home projects. He is a trustworthy guy and his team does quality work.

Well, this is the third time I've used Hydra, and it went well, as usual! Pat is always so friendly, reasonably priced, and only recommends that you do the necessary work - no high pressure sales tactics or upselling. His foreman Noe is a super hard worker, prompt, and friendly. The work was done very quickly (although we did have to wait a few weeks to get on the schedule, because they're very busy right now - the secret is out!), and just in time for the massive late spring rains we got too - the sump pump was put right to work. Pat answered my questions and worked around my concerns to try to get me the most bang for the buck.

After receiving an evaluation from a local home builder I called Hydra to discuss my situation. I was hesitant to cut holes in the drywall but the owner, Pat Kirby, convinced me that it needed to be done based on my description of the problem. After cutting the drywall and discovering the source of the leak Pat suggested that I send pictures and he would give me a quote. I sent the pictures and within a few hours I received a written quote. I told Pat to put me on his schedule and he said it would be a couple of weeks due to the volume of work. A couple of weeks later Pat called on a Friday and said they were available the following Monday morning. The crew showed up as scheduled and repaired the crack. I was impressed with their diligence of covering the floors and building a plastic area around the area being repaired. The crew was outstanding and very knowledgeable. The leak was repaired on March 27, 2017 and I have seen no sign of leakage despite heavy rains in April. I am very satisfied with Hydra and would definitely recommend them and use them again.

The foreman was AMAZING! My new favorite person! He was very knowledgeable and explained every step. The entire crew was very nice and respectful. I was always comfortable with the entire crew. I worked from home some of the days the job was going on and I have a newborn. They made sure they were as quiet as possible and made sure to let me know when they were coming and going (Leaving for lunch/the day). They got the job done when they said it would be completed. Any questions we had were answered immediately. The job turned out better than we ever expected. I would absolutely recommend them! Great price, great service, and an even better crew!

Excellent. Pat came out initially for a free consultation with zero pressure only recommendations. The crew was prompt, professional and clean. On the way out they even wiped the hand rail clean to make sure they didn't leave any mess.

Having done quite a bit of rehabbing in this house which is close to 100 years old,this by far was the easiest ,fastest,and one of the best contractors used. We only had a little less then half of the basement done and the crew showed up at 8::30 and was done around 3:00. No problems ,no mess, and usually a basement fix is a mess. The first clue that this was a trustworthy company came when I asked how much of a down payment was required Pat said none. "Just pay me when we are finished and you are totally satisfied"
