The people from Honey Do Home Improvements were fantastic. Communication before the job was excellent and timely. The day of the job, Fred and his partner, Jayla (sp?) showed up on time ready to go to work. They were both very pleasant and personable, and worked throughout the day until the job was completed. Quality of their work was excellent and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Honey Do Home Improvements and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Fred was early for our appointment. He even waited while i ran to the store to get missing parts. I will definitely use Honey Do's services again.

Honey Do did a fantastic job. They arrived promptly and were very professional. I thought I had an issue with contacting them but it turns out for some reason Yahoo was putting their emails into my spam folder even though I needed those for scheduling my job. So those issues were no fault of theirs. They were able to fit me in extremely quickly which was a huge help for me since my time available to complete this project was very limited. The job turned out terrific! I did the Angie's List coupon for 14 hours worth of work. They completely the original work I needed done so quickly they were able to a do a little touch up work as well. Honey Do is a small business that obviously really wants to make a name for itself. Everything turned out great. I would no question hire them again!

Mr. Fred did a creative job. He removed the bottom of the cabinet, cleaned under it, sealed it with a primer seal and installed base wood wedges that the new two ply wood pieces affixed to. He also put a vinyl piece atop the ply wood and caulked it for extra protection. Very professional work and pleasant.

I have had several handymen help with projects over the past few years, until I discovered Fred! He is punctual, can fix anything, very reasonable pricing, very nice and professional. Highly recommended.

I sent some messages to the provider and didn't get an immediate response. Finally Fred called me back and wanted to know what I wanted done and to schedule a time to come out. I told him what I wanted done and he said that installing a subfloor isn't a handyman service. I told him that I think it is, but if he didn't want to do that's fine--just refund my money and we'll be done. He didn't want to do that, but he agreed to come out and take a look. We set a time for him to come and see the work. He didn't bother showing up or calling or emailing/texting/messaging that he wouldn't be coming. I left him voicemails and messages and I've had none of them returned. I worked with Angie's List to get a refund for the "deal" that I purchased and I hope Fred learns how to treat his (potential) customers. Beware of this guy/company!

I recently called and left a message for Honey Do Home Improvements to inquire about scheduling a time to obtain an estimate. However, I never received a return call.

He started the work but left it half complete. He hasn't returned for over a month and is not returning my calls. Even if he is unable to complete the work for some reason I would appreciate a call back to let me know he won't be able to so I could have someone else complete the repair.

Everything went very well. Mr. Johnson arrived promptly, nicely dressed and professional. I also noticed that his truck was new & clean. The largest fan took a bit longer than expected, but he was very considerate of my time, and would have returned to finish if necessary if I had to leave the house. I didn't need to go anywhere, so he stayed until all four fans were installed. He showed me his work as he went along, made sure I knew how to operate and how the wall switches were connected. He also took down a chandelier and capped the opening. He offered to clean up the empty boxes, but I said I would take care of them because I had to break them down for recycling. I was very pleased with the work. Mr. Johnson is a personable guy, unlike so many others I have dealt with, so I truly appreciated his pleasant personality and professionalism. First of all, he showed up late the first day (20 minutes late). He completed the toilet repair and the cabinets. He completed the inside ceiling lights. He installed the exterior lights by the garage. He "completed" the post. The electric eye mechanism was under the light that makes it turn on after dawn. When he was here, the light kept going on. He played around with it and tried to fix it. It didn't get fixed. By the time he left, it would still randomly turn on. I called him to come back and fix it. He came, he pulled the mechanism out of the post and said there was a problem with it. He acted like it was a super easy fix at the hardware store. I bought a new mechanism, and it doesn't work at all now. Before work was started, the eye mechanism worked just fine. I have called three times in the past several days, and finally emailed me back. He said he was gone for the holiday, and will come out at 9 am, but this was not part of the agreed work so he will have to charge me 30 dollars for an extra trip. Well, it was part of the original work. I bought a new mechanism and everything. I told him I will not pay the 30 dollars. He did not show up at 9 am.

Fred Johnson is amazing!!! Actually I will give him A++++ in all areas. Fred contacted me and we set an appointment for 8:30 on June 7. He called at 7:00 am to tell me his truck would not start and could he please come at 1:00. He arrived at 12:45 and immediately began to work. Fred has a pleasant personality and did not flinch when I gave him the tasks to be completed. The ceiling fans he replaced were not properly installed and he quickly and efficiently figured out the problem and did a FANTASTIC job of replacing them. He installed a new back porch light and reset the light on the deck. Moving on he replaced the hanging light over the dining table. He then quickly moved on to the front door and replaced the broken screen door arm. He then went down to the basement and replaced the battery on an elliptical machine. We bought the "4 hours of handyman for $99" deal, and we certainly got our money's worth. Fred was very professional, very personable, and very fast.

Didnt showed up as per the plan and i have wasted my day waiting on them.

Everything went very smoothly. I called the provider first and explained the rotten wood before buying the package. He arrived on time and even brought someone to help. We bought the wood and they cut to what we needed. Replaced and painted what they could in the 4 hour period. My husband was home and said we have to use this company again because they were so nice and professional. We have a ton of work to do on our house before we move and will use this company again!

I gave Fred a list of about 10 odd jobs from hanging a chandelier and furniture repair to replacing the outdoor hose faucet. He efficiently and effectively completed all the tasks -and was a pleasure to meet.

Fred was absolutely wonderful. He followed up in email both before the appointment and after to discuss repairs so he would be prepared upon arrival. Fred also contacted us the morning of the appointment to let us know he was on his way. Fred went through all of the repairs with me and showed me both before pictures and after and explained each repair and what he did. All of this work was done as part of the "Deal" we purchased for four hours of service. Mr. Johnson arrived promptly (confirming the appointment and location of the house the night before). He came prepared with all necessary tools and a step ladder. He was very professional and courteous from start to finish. He did not mind having us watch him work and clearly explained to us what he was doing and why he was doing it each step of the way. He completed all of the tasks we had on our list except for one outdoor electrical task that could not be done due to inclement weather. However, he did look at the project (rewiring and replacing a security light on the garage) and gave us a reasonable estimate for future consideration. All of the work on our project list was completed in less than four hours. He would have stayed to do additional tasks to "use up the time," but we did not have anything else for him to do on that day. We will definitely give him a call when we are ready to proceed with our next project.

It went GREAT! This was the deal of the century. Our appointment was scheduled for a 9am arrival, Fred called at 8:11 to say he was enroute. I am so very impressed. He is punctual, very polite and pays close attention to detail. He also asked my opinion prior to the final placement of the fixtures. I was so excited that he had all of the proper tools for the tasks on the list and better yet he used them. I wish I had found him long ago, I would have bypassed all of the duds that I hired in the past. I will not think twice about scheduling work with Fred again. Fred excellent work is definitely worth more than the price of the big deal. I would rate him an A+ if that rating was available.

He was great, even running out to the hardware store to get a few things he needed but didn't have on the truck. I will definitely be using Honey Do again.
