The young man was very nice, polite, and helpful, and I was impressed with him and his responsiveness. I left a message and he called me back the same day. Unfortunately, he was unable to cover my area. He said he has enough customers and cannot take any more because he takes care of his child during the day, but he did thank me for my call and wished me luck in my search. I was very happy with him and would certainly consider using him if he would ever be able to do the work.

They were excellent! Doug and Scottie were wonderful, efficient, and did good work! You can't even tell where their repair work is! They worked around my schedule, and they are very good at what they do. I am very pleased with them, and I would recommend them to others.

Called Doug for an estimate. He was very professional and friendly. He asked me questions to understand what I wanted to be done with the bedroom closet and bedroom in general. An estimate was e-mailed to me promptly. They were able to start when I wanted. Both Doug and Scott were professional and friendly. They did not hesitate to ask me questions if they were not sure what I wanted. They hung the closet door for me and even removed the old carpet from the bedroom (they volunteered to remove the carpet). The closet looks fantastic. High quality of work, very reasonable price.

Doug is very professional, responsive, and does quality work for a very reasonable price. We have used him for a number of years for yard work services, and we are very pleased with everything he did for us in our new and old houses. Doug and Scott are hard workers. They are also very personable. I felt like they were family friends. I trusted them totally. And they did a great job for us.

Doug and Scott worked around my schedule and arrived on time every day. They kept the mess to a minimum and respected my home. They were easy to work with and were agreeable to all my requests. The basement came out great. I would use them again.

He looked at the work to be done, gave me a price, showed up when he said he would, did the work satisfactorily, and left a bill for the price quoted.

The company representative who worked with us and did the estimate (Scott Preston) was professional and showed a lot of attention to detail. He spent time checking on the feasibility of the project and even had a plumber come with him on a follow-up visit to make sure the estimate he gave us was realistic. We were very impressed. The only reason we did not go with them is that they don't always pull permits for work and we wanted to make sure that was done.

We have used him several times and plan to continue using him. He is very prompt, efficient, and we are very happy with him.

The job went very well and actually went quicker than what I expected. Doug quoted the job and we gave him the order following that. Doug was able to start the following week and got the job done in four or five days. The room looks much nicer and we can now have guest stay in it.

Doug got back with the quote very quick as he knew I was out of a bath at this point. Doug started the job immediately and worked a total of three weekends to get it finished. The first thing they did was fix the plumbing so as to have a toilet running that was done the first day. That helped a lot and gave me water back into shop area, where I had a sink. It really put me back in business as this was also my shop space and residence as well. This job came out very well even with all the additional work that was required. Have not had one cold weather related problem since then. The job actually came in under the estimate which Doug rebated to me. Doing the tile work really made a big difference and was very much worth the additional cost. Doug did a nice job, he also did a great clean up job and worked very hard to finish this job quickly. I would for sure recommend Doug and Home Remedies as the work was done very well, on time and on budget.

They were always professional and neat. They hung dust barriers, laid down drop cloths, taped out all the woodwork and vacuumed every day. When the tile was started, I thought it would take a lot longer than it did. I was pleasantly surprised that the bathroom was ready as soon as it was.

I paid for the additional materials, and was not charged for the extra labor. The floor looks great!

Doug and crew were professional and always informed me of any problems before continuing with work. Always on time. Very clean. Came in under budget and passed the savings on to me.

They lacked attention to detail, common courtesy and punctuality. They were more interested in getting paid than producing quality work. To date there is still a small amount of work that they apparently are never going to finish. Here is a list of SOME problems: 1) Estimate was 3-5 weeks, took 16 weeks (we caused a 3 week delay). They would routinely show up for only 2 or 3 hours per day. 2) Shower floor had to be redone twice, once because it didn't drain properly and the second time because they didn't line up the tiles to match the existing grout lines. 3) Shower floor (polished stone) is scratched because they stored their work tools in there. 4) Tile in shower is anything but professional looking. 5) Light above the vanity wasn't centered - they said they were being nice because "they didn't charge us to redo it." 6) Electrical failed and two tiles cracked two weeks after they left. 7) One day later electric for tub didn't work. 8) NEVER cleaned up after themselves.

It was a great experience from start to finish. They showed up promptly as scheduled to do our initial estimate and they started the job exactly when they said they would. They worked quickly, yet efficiently, with careful attention to detail. For example, as they were removing the old wall, they noticed that a heating/cooling duct had a crack in it, which was reducing the amount of hot/cool air we were getting on our second floor. They fixed it for us at no additional charge. They finished up a few days sooner than they estimated. These guys were just true professionals in every sense of the word. They listened to us, gave us exactly what we asked for at a very fair price, and they were even nice to our kids and our dog! What more could you ask for?

Doug provided excellent customer service. He was courteous, easy-going and flexible. The quality of his work was outstanding, for the ceiling looks incredible. There were a few dings in the wall from the work, but that was the only remnant of any work done in this room. Also, Doug provided us with an affordable quote.

I think the two men did a good job because the work looked smooth. They were polite and friendly. They came in and got straight to work and finished in about 40 minutes.
