HK Construction

The owner was prompt coming out for an estimate and getting the job started but response to communication lacks. The employee he sent for the job was competent, courteous and explained everything he was doing. I feel it took longer than it should have to complete the work. For the money and prompt estimate and getting the work started, I'd recommend this company.

HK Construction did a great job of replacing some cedar siding in the back of the house. They used a better grade of cedar siding that our house originally had.

John was very nice and quick

John Kim (owner and operator) is very nice and wants to make his customers happy. The individual he sent to asses the job and do the final work was very good. Improvement could be found in communication (thus the 4.5 stars). Phone calls / emails could be more professional. Granted I caught him at an extremely busy time. Loved the work and was very happy with the end result.

John was very responsive to my repair request and in fact put me ahead of others due to the urgency of my project. My issues are with the quality of the workmanship and not fully informing me of issues with he repair. He had a newer employee working on my job and I felt things were rushed and attention to detail wasn't apparent.

Did some repair work on our chimney. Work looks great and very professional. Work was completed as agreed upon. Would hire Mr. Kim again.

Mr. Kim was very professional and did a great job replacing some soffit and fascia.

the work was done quickly and well, it would have been nice to know we purchased the wrong door before he installed it, called a different company to replace security door.

John of HK Construction is extremely prompt, efficient, knowledgeable and works extremely fast. He does not waste any time answering the phone or completing his task.

Let me explain.I was super proud of the work done. His CREW was amazing however I hesitate on this review due to the issue I had with owner. He was very rude to his crew who were doing a perfect job. I heard him telling them to just hurry and get it done (in other choice words not PG rated). As a home owner Id rather pay more and get quality work then to just rush through and it be shabby work. We told him this as well. This review is a double edge for me as Id give the crew a 5 star and the owners actions (or lack of as he never was seen til last day) a solid 3.5. Cussing, screaming and throwing an adult tantrum is very unprofessional.

Very punctual for appointment and complete repairs as agreed. Worked quickly and looks good. I'll happily use this company again.

Mr. Kim is very accommodating. He arrived on schedule and made the repairs in a timely manner. This is the second time I have hired HK Construction and both time have been very pleased with the work.
