Everything went quite well (see above) and we are extremely please with the end result.

Took Phil (the owner) about two weeks to do template and took his guys about two months to install. Price was raised from original quote..we were told because of mismeasurement. Install was adequate ..never saw Phil once on site while job was underway like I have read on other reviews. Communication was very poor and disorganized. We were told some of the installation problems we had were due to inexperience. They did come and try to resolve SOME issues.Countertop Sales told us that we would need to do the caulking around countertops ourselves and that was not part of the job. they were nice enough to tell us what to purchase. To me that is part of the job but I guess not. We did expect to see a few crowbar pits in our drywall. They will be patched and repaired when we do the countertop caulking. Sink is not centered exactly but we will live with it. The stone is stunning thanks to Mont Granite and is separate from install so no points for that Countertop Sales. Would like to of been included in deciding how the pattern would lay. Our pattern is called moon raker- lots of waves and movement. The nicest part of the pattern is in a corner. I do need to say good job to the sales person. He seemed to have his act together and was responsive although his estimate install date was way off from actual install date. I would rate Counter Top Sales an overall grade C ...not a horrible job... Just adequate. Company seems overwhelmed.

Overall, everything went according to plan in a timely manner. The dates, price quote, and our satisfaction were all accomplished. Kudos to CounterTop Sales!

We decided to replace our old laminate counters with granite ones. I called different places and got several estimates and Counter Top Sales had the best price by far. Phil came right out and talked to us about whether granite or quartz would be best for us. He also had some very good suggestions on a couple of little things that we hadn't thought of and that now really look terrific. They were honest about when they could do the job (approx. three weeks) and started and ended when they said they would. They were very professional and did a great job down to the smallest detail. We are very pleased, and our kitchen went from blah to beautiful!! We would recommend their work to anyone.

The countertop is cut on site. The backsplash was installed on 3 sides of the countertop. The adjacent walls are not square but the installer was able to work around this problem. The crew was tidy and did a good job with the installation of the sink and countertop. The crew spent time determining the best way to place an existing faucet with an angled pop up lever which initially did not clear the backsplash.

It was a terrific experience. When we called him, we had a problem with another service provider. The product they had tried to install was too short. They had put some black caulking on our freshly painted walls. We didn't report on this company because the owner of the company came out and his partner threatened to get an attorney. But we ended the project with them in the middle of the work, so we were stuck. We were pretty concerned with this situation and we were luckily able to find Countertop Sales. We were relieved when we met the owner, Phil. He reassured us and was able to come out the next day and speak with us. He was able to find the product we were looking for, which had been discontinued, and was able to create two beautiful countertops that we love. He installed them and finished the rest of the bathroom, fixing a wall, installed new light fixtures, painted the walls for us, hung our mirrors, and did the plumbing. It was a two day project for them, when I had thought it was going to take weeks. They did everything we asked and more. We had another plumber "fix" an issue with our kitchen sink around the same time, and the issue came back in two days. Phil was able to look at our sink and fix it finally. We were without vanities and bathrooms for a considerable amount of time until Phil came along and was able to fix the problems. Everything was done perfectly and did exactly what we wanted. They couldn't of been more perfect. Everything was done well; they cleaned up and they were always on time. The pricing was excellent for everything that they did, I couldn't believe it because they did so much. We thought we were just getting countertops, but we ended up getting so much more. We would highly recommend them.

I met Richard Street at the Home Improvement Show this winter. His eagerness to "educate me" rather than "sell me" on the value of new countertops is what first impressed me and drew me to CountertopSales. When I later contacted him to come out and give me a quote, he was able to meet with me in a very timely manner. He explained in great detail my various options and provided recommendations, and provided suggestions in several follow-up conversations. He was very patent and truly concerned about me being happy with the final product. He was very flexible in setting up times for us to meet that did not impact my busy schedule. I decided to go with new granite countertops. They were installed in one day and they look great. Richard and the installation team were very careful to make sure the work was done correctly and to my satisfaction. I could tell that Richard really cares about what he is doing and wants to do what he can to make his customers happy. He was super to work with.

They did an excellent job. They were very reasonable. I had several quotes and they were very competitive. The guy came out and measured. When his people came out and installed, everything was perfect. I had no complaints at all. They did a nice job. The people that came out were very professional. He did an excellent job when he came out for the initial measuring. It was about 3 weeks before the actual installation took place. The installer did an excellent job too and everything was done perfectly. Overall, he did an excellent job at a very good price. I would recommend him to anybody.

We found them on Angie's List and shopped around as well. The impression was really good. They were good with communication, the store was closed when we got there so I called up and he was kind enough to drive there to meet us. Phil continued with his outstanding customer service from where he left off when we contracted for the counter tops. Phil called to make an appointment for the installation and arrived on time. His crew were extremely professional and interactive in answering any questions me or my wife had. The work was meticulously completed and the counter tops look amazing. Phil and his crew did a total clean up after the installation and ensured us that he would be available in the future if we had any further questions or if any problems develop. Counter top sales, Phil and his team, were the complete package. From start to finish.

Once finally completed the counter tops are satisfactory. Honesty, lack of communication and responsiveness was very poor.

They were on time, professional, and courteous. We just decided to take our business elsewhere.

The process went very smoothly. Phil was very profession and gave us several options to choose from. He came in exactly as estimated and the completed the project in the time frame promised. We highly recommend Phil and his company!

Phil's price was half that of a local competitor for the same exact product. The picking out the product part was fine. When they came to install was when the problems began. Two guys showed up with the countertop ready to install. We had arranged to have all the above listed work performed at that time. They claimed that was not what Phil had told them, and they did not want to do the rest of the work. That matter was worked out, but they were not eager to do it. They complained that Phil's measurements were a little off and everything was too tight. The measurement's were spot on, but whoever fabricated it was a little off I guarantee that. During the install process the two chatted basically about how much they couldn't stand working and about all their weekend plans. Some of there language was inappropriate and most of their work was poor. When Phil came to inspect ( good thing he did ) I would guess that he fixed 75% of what they did. A couple days after install I found several spots that were not well caulked or completely missed. I would work with Phil again, but I would not have those two install anything ever again.

They were fine. We went to their store to check the countertops. Things went fine and we were impressed with them. However, we decided to go with somebody else. If need be, then we would use their services in the future.

Phil was a little hard to get a hold of at first (they were having email problems) but once we finally connected the process went smoothly. His guys ripped out the old counter and sinks, installed the new counter they had made, and connected the new vessel sinks and faucets (purchased elsewhere). They were very nice about installing the sinks, even though the manufacturer hadn't included installation instructions. Apparently they had done enough of these to know how to do it without instructions. When it was all done, they also provided helpful tips on how to clean it to keep it looking new.

They were professional, polite, and kind. They showed up on time but I just wasn't satisfied with the material they showed me, so I chose to use another company.

Phil was so nice and very personable. His quote was considerably cheaper than others that also included him installing the sink and the faucet. I would definitely consider using him in the future when we are ready to have the work done.

Everything went very well. I was very pleased with the countertops they put in.

Showed up on time for all appointments. Everyone did a great job and were friendly and professional. Countertops look fabulous!!!! Two minor glitches occurred: One counter was cut wrong and had to be replaced, but was done 2 days later. Dishwasher was pushed in to far for reattachment to the counter, causing it to leak. Phil came out and corrected it promptly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quartz countertops!!

They did really great work, I just did a lousy job picking out the counter tops. The employee was very nice and very accommodating. They did a great job with the installation. His price was good and the quality was excellent.

Measurement appointment was on time. Price was more than competitive with Home Depot and one other estimate we had. Had to call about schedule for install. Installer got lost but that is understandable. Measurement was wrong on one dimensions so the top had to be re-cut, thus delaying job completion. But, installer came and installed as a promised. He went beyond expectations in getting the sink installed and stuck with it until he had done a quality job. Would deal with Countertop Sales again.

I've searched Angies list for A rated contractors for quartz countertop sales & installations. Phil was the most professional and while everyone else weeded themselves out through either high price or unprofessionalism, Phil was the contractor who gave us the most comfort. He sold us a quartz countertop that only has a 10 year warranty (Hanstone), when the industry standard is a 15 year warranty for Silestone, Dupont, etc.). I know that we could've gotten a quartz countertop installed for less than we paid, but it would've been at the expense of a contractor we're not comfortable with. For this reason we decided to go with Phil. Once the guys arrived everything went great. They had to delay their arrival time due to machine problems at the shop, but Phil was still able to get the countertop and sink installed the same day as planned. Phil also installed a new faucet and new garbage disposal that I purchased. I did have to call Phil back to apply sealant between one of my countertops and the cabinets. This step was missed by the guys during the installation. Overall, I was nervous at first due to the delay, but eventually everything went fine. Phil was very professional and customer friendly. I've tried to call Hanstone to see if they've extended their standard warranty to match the industry standard, but to no avail. As you can probably see, I have some buyers remorse due to the warranty. Nevertheless, my experience was good.

First, allow me to address a previous review that gave Phil a "F" rating for not being responsive. Phil was working on my bathroom during the same time frame the reviewer mentioned. My installation was delayed (which Phil made SURE was okay with me beforehand) because he was at several funerals. I think it speaks volumes about Phil's professionalism that in his time of grief, he took time out to call me and ask if I was willing to hold off the installation while he attended said funerals. Phil actually apologized for asking!! Obviously, I did not object. Phil had been more than understanding when I had to cancel appointments due to far more trivial reasons. I do not use the word "professional" lightly. To me, a professional has to be one of the best at his or her job AND has to be responsive, polite, and considerate of their clients while offering a fair price and sound advice. Having one without the other means you come up short in my book. Phil is a professional. Phil not only did immaculate work, he was a pleasure to work with. He guided my wife's decision over which stone to choose and I have to say it looks fantastic. He matched our bathroom and our tastes perfectly. The china sinks look amazing along with the Hanstone quartz. Phil has an outstanding eye and a decorator's touch. We actually put a huge roadblock in Phil's path. We needed him to replace our faucets as well (what's the point of a beautiful new counter and new sinks with old, beat up faucets?). The problem was that our original faucets, which matched all the other faucets in our master bath, were no longer readily available. The manufacture had discontinued the pattern. Phil found them and was able to order them for us. There is no question in my mind that we will work with Phil again and that I can and would recommend him highly. His work is outstanding and he is always looking to make things "perfect" for his customers. One of the best contractors I have ever found on Angie's or anywhere else.

I thought that they had a good selection of products that you can choose from. The send someone to measure the area and have all of the cuts done off site. That way a lot of mess is kept to a minimum. They did an excellent job.

Underneath the countertops we wished to have replaced, we had a rectangular cabinet that fit into a corner with a single door on one side. The end of the cabinet in the corner was practically unusable since you had to lie down on the floor and reach back to get to that space. We wanted, in addition to the new countertops, a door at the opposite end of that cabinet to make the entire space useable. We got attractive bids from several companies, but Phil Holbrook, of CounterTop Sales came up with an excellent idea. He offered to install a new cabinet at the back of, and extending beyond, the existing cabinet, just opposite the existing door. He also suggested installing a cabinet with drawers in the, previously unavailable, corner portion of the rectangular cabinet, which could be accessed from the other side of the counter. He then planned a counter top that would fit beautifully over the new work. Phil spent time explaining the pros and cons of the various choices of material for the countertop and helped us decide on a new sink that would work with the top. The new counter top is beautiful. The workmanship is excellent; the large counter top was installed in two pieces with an almost invisible seam. The work was done on schedule, and the workers cleaned up well after the job was done. Phil personally inspected the job and did the sink and faucet installation himself. We are particularly pleased that Phil Holbrook took the time to consider, not just what we asked for, but also to suggest possibilities that had not occurred to us. We now have more than twice the useable space the old cabinet provided and the arrangement Phil suggested makes everything easily available. Our kitchen now both looks better and works better.
