Gutterworks Plus LLC

I used Gutterworks Plus about 2 years ago for installing gutter guards on about 100 ft of the highest roof line of my house. These guards have performed very well (not all of them do), so I wanted to install the same type of guard on the rest of the house. Wayne (the owner) was very responsive in arranging the date for the job and completing the work. As was my prior experience, the results are top notch. Wayne was also very accommodating in doing a little roof maintenance with this job. I appreciate working with this company for quality work that you can trust at a reasonable price.

I called Wayne Monday Morning, he returned the call Monday evening. He called Tuesday and was at my home in 30 minutes. He cleaned out my gutters, nailed in loose gutters and extended some downspouts where needed. Very prompt, does his work and provides any information needed. Very pleased.

I called Wayne on Monday, left a message, and he returned my call the same day. I told him that my gutter (approx 20 ft) was pulling away from the house and the nails were coming out. He told me that he charged $75 to come out and his work was charged by the hour. I agreed to his terms and he said he would be out Wed or Thurs of this week and would call ahead. I received a call on Wed from Wayne. He said he could be at my house within the hour if that would be OK. He and his son showed up promptly and did the work in 15 min. My gutters are now secure and guaranteed for a year. I will certainly give him a call if I need any work done in the future.

Talked to Wayne on the phone and we agreed on the price and the date. He came with one helper as my house is two stories. Wayne and his co-worker had my gutter fixed with new screws within 15 minutes. He also installed 2 new hangers on the gutter just to make sure that it stayed secured. Wayne gives you a 1 year waarranty on his labor which is very nice. Will definately use Wayne and his company again.

They were excellent as usual. They're prompt and do a very complete, thorough job and do not need supervision. I've used this for a long time.

I left a voicemail message for Mr. Richardson. He phoned me the next day and arranged to fit me in the following day. He took a look and quoted me the service call of $75.00 plus $15 per each 1/4 hour and estimated the total job to take between 45 minutes to 1 hour. They were able to complete the work in less time than estimated. Mr. Richardson did a wonderful job in very little time and was cheerful and polite to boot! I look forward to using his services again.

I called the firm on 6/4/12 and spoke to owner, Wayne Richardson. He was able to come to my home that same day and provide an estimate. I was impressed that Wayne promptly put up his ladder and walked the roof to inspect the gutters. I had requested estimates from another company and they did not even leave the ground but gave me an estimate for over $700. Another firm did walk the roof but gave me an estimate for a yearly service contract of $300/visit. Wayne and his assistant did all of the work in about an hour and collected a whole lot of debris that was clogging my gutters and downspouts. I had just recently paid another firm over $500 to jetstream my underground pipes but that did nothing to correct my problem. Wayne was a very friendly but professional man and I was delighted with his work. I finally am not having backups and cascading water from my gutters and downspouts. I will definitely have him back, twice a year, to keep my gutters clean. I am glad that I am a member of Angie's List so that I can find reliable workers like Wayne Richardson.

Wayne took a few days to call me back, but made the appointment and did the job on the day he promised. Since this was the 3rd time I have hired him, I did not stay home to monitor the work, he came while I was at work.

As usual, Wayne did an awesome job. He cleaned our gutters which a) hadn't been cleaned in a few years and b) were FULL of maple tree whirly seed pods. He also reattached the gutters to make sure they didn't leak. He was done quickly, thoroughly, efficiently and in my opinion, inexpensively. We've hired him before and will continue to do so!

Wayne did excellent job cleaning the gutter which was full of debris and replacing the elbow part of the downspout for my home. He also came back to clean the recurrent accumulated debris which blocked the downspouts after the storm. Thanks.

Wayne had done some gutter work for me in the past, so I attempted to contact him to clean my gutters. I used an old business card not realizing he had closed his business, and only recently reopened it. The number on the business card was old and no longer in use, so I checked Angie's list to see if there was a new phone number, which there was. I called Wayne and left a message, which he returned the next day. He indicated he would be out early the next week to see what needed to be done. He came out on a Wednesday, and he checked out the gutters. I also showed him some recent water stains on our ceiling to see if the overflowing gutters were possibly the cause. He and his partner immediately began to work on the gutters, and did a very good job. The gutters were clean, and he cleaned up the debris around the house as well. In addition, he gave a suggestion about what to do with the water stains on our ceiling. I am very happy with the work he did. The only negative, and this was partly an oversight on my part, was that I did not get an estimate from him before he started working.

Wayne was very responsive. Quick turn-around and very affordable. Our only concern is that he doesn't take credit card payments. It would be beneficial to the customer if this was disclosed up-front. We don't usually use checks and we never carry cash so this would have been easier to budget for if we had known ahead of time. We understand that it's usually more expensive to offer this to customers but most of us use credit or debit cards these days. Requesting payment by check or cash results in delaying payment which we don't like to do given the good work that was done. Otherwise we are very pleased with the work. Wayne fixed a problem that we had been dealing with for years in less than an hour!

I had an emergency and they came out right away and did a super job. They cleaned up after themselves and did more than what I asked for the same price.

He was good about cleaning up and hauling away the debris. We were very happy with him. We are going to hire him to install gutter guards. He was prompt. The price was reasonable. He did an excellent.

Wayne was so good about fixing our problems with our gutters. We had one particular gutter where the flashing had come apart from the gutter and was draining the water onto our stucco instead of directing it down the downspout. He came out and did a check of all of our gutters and fixed that flashing, plus 2 others. He also noticed that several of our downspouts were not draining into underground drains, as the house had settled over the years. He fixed those for us too. Overall fantastic job, and we will definitely use him again!

I dealt directly with the owner/operator from the beginning to the end. Response time was approximately 5 days. They were very professional and it was apparent that they took great pride in their work. They spent time explaining everything from the initial assessment to the needed repairs. Very easy to work with. I felt like they gave me a fair assessment and trusted their recommendations. They did excellent work. I would most definitely use them again.

The job went well. It was done while I was at work and the water goes down the downspouts, not onto the patio.

Took 2 weeks to get a hold of the company initially. Took two more weeks to get them out for an estimate, at which point the gentleman told us to call back after all the leaves had fallen even though we wanted the gutters cleaned right away. Tried to call 1 week later to get the service schedule. No return phone call. Called twice more and was then told we would get put on his schedule within the next two week. His company has yet to show up to complete the job. From start to no finish - 6 weeks. Who has time for that!

Wayne was excellent to work with, very friendly and honest. He came out in the morning to give me an estimate, and had the repairs done that evening.

Wayne Richardson previously responded to an "emergency" call we made regarding failure of front gutters in spring 2010 during heavy rains. This time we happened to notice what appeared to be some kind of blockage on back house gutters and called for preventive maintenance. We indicated it was not an emergency. Called, left voice mail, received call back in two days and work was performed within a week of calling. He checked all gutters, and as was the case with previous call, found roofing debris (shown to us) that had created blockage. We had a new roof put on in 2009. We will be contacting that roofer (reported on Angies very positively) to see if they will help defray the cost of both gutter cleaning/repairs. Mr. RIchardson is thorough, straightforward, reasonable, and responsive. We recommend him, again, for gutter maintenance.

I left a phone message and did not hear from them for several days, which was a bit disappointing. However, once they returned my call, they quickly scheduled a day to inspect and said they might be able to do the work the same day. The appointment was on a day when I was at work; for such a small job that could be easily inspected, I had no qualms about having work done while I was away. They called me to give a report about the inspection. In addition to the problems with the gutter on the back of the garage, they offered to fix a sag in the front gutter. I gave them the OK and they said they would leave a bill at the house. When I returned home, I could see that the problems with both gutters had been addressed. We haven't had a lot of rain recently, so I haven't been able to see the gutters in action, but it appears the problems have been corrected.

I've been using Angie's List for years, and Wayne is one of the very best people I've had the good fortune to hire. If you have any gutter issues--and I mean "any"--do not think twice about using anybody else: use Gutterworks Plus. Wayne did the job as it should have been done: slow and right instead of fast and wrong. He was thorough, including his paperwork which was detailed, accurate, and left no room for interpretation. Wayne has my complete confidence and has been invited back to install aluminum gutter screens next week and to clean my gutters again in the fall.

We have used Wayne's services before and he seemed knowledgeble and willing to share information. This time was no exception. Though he did not arrive on the day arranged due to rain, he was there the next day. He cleaned and tightened our gutters which had been loosened due to the debris and heavy rains this spring. We also asked him how to avoid these problems which seem to recur frequently; we wondered if we needed additional downspouts to handle the volume of water. He gave us several ideas but recommended we start with guttergards and advised us to see if that handled the problem before spending more money. We appreciate that he explains the situation and options well and does not try to push you toward products/services you may not need.
