The owner actually had to call in another person to help with our garage door because of the weight. They completed the work in a timely fashion, were polite, and explained the different functions on the new opener.

 + -1 moreI was not happy with the price. I removed the entire garage door opener, brought it down, dismantled the parts. All I did not know is how to put the coupler in. So I called in this person he said initial it is $75. But when he came all he did is put the coupler in the right spot assembled and hooked the opener and balanced. After finishing he charged me $125, I said why is it so, he said balancing is $25 and since you had the door opener down another $25. Finally after negotiation I paid $100. The same guy when installing my new garage door opener an year back charged only $75.

Description of Work: I had broken the wires that control the movement of the garage door; I had tried to use the old wires but was not having enough luck. He put completely new wires on to make the door open and close smoothly along with oiling the door.

He was the nicest guy and we would highly recommend him. His prices were extremely reasonable. We wished we had more work for him to do because he was such an easy provider to work with! We were impressed and thrilled with his services.
Description of Work: He installed two new garage doors and two electrical garage door openers. He also took away the old doors, cleaned everything up and went over the mechanics of all the electronics.

 + -1 more* Cols, OH spent $265.00 w/C.W. Miller Co. Garage Door. They replaced 2 springs but did not correct my opener problem & failed to promptly handle this repair. Grove came in 1 hr after my call & repaired the problem in 5 minutes.
Description of Work: Garage dooor opener made terrible noise in use. Grove greased the chain runner track. Which corrected the opener problem. * CW Miller could not solve this problem & billed me $265.00 for 2 springs.

 + -1 moreI contacted them over the weekend and got service on Monday right when he said he'd arrive, and for a great price, with helpful info and sensible advice. Definitely calling them back when I'm ready to get a nice new door.
Description of Work: I backed into my garage door, ripping off the seal and frame on the bottom and bending the door and a roller bracket. Doug came out on short notice and actually put the door into perfectly usable condition, restoring the seal/frame on the bottom. I had ripped the original bolts out, but he made it all better than before. While he was there, he did a service on the door applying lubricant and grease (graphite) everywhere, explaining as he went the parts of the door. I discussed how I'd go about getting a new door in the future when my budget allows and he gave me good, practical, honest advice and I will definitely look to Grove when that time comes.

He recommended not to as there were several issues, and the current opener I had was better than replacement. Suggested I get my money back rather than have trouble down the road. He could have installed it and made more money, instead gave me an honest answer and recommended I save my money. How many people do that?

 + -1 morei ran into mr. groves and saw that he repaired overhead doors by the advertising on his truck. my door had recently broke, so i asked him if his company would be available to help me out. mr. groves was able to come out that evening and repair my door. he made the necessary repairs, and explained the repairs very well. he went on to do some maintenance and went over the condition of the various parts of the garage door. i appreciated mr. groves availability, his professionalism, and his ability to explain the repairs and maintenance to me in a way that i would understand without making me feel dumb!
Description of Work: the springs were replaced. he also tightened all bolts, lubed the track, and did general maintenance on the door.
