Grove Overhead Door

Very happy with Grove Overhead Door! I shopped around a lot and their price is comparable to Home Depot, Lowes, etc. I wanted to use a local small business and deal with the owner directly. They were great from start to finish; answered ALL of our questions and our new garage door and opener are great. Highly recommend!

Called on Thursday morning and scheduled for the following morning with a reasonable price quote of $255 Serviceman called when on his way, and showed up on time with all parts needed. He asked me if I wanted both springs replaced for maximum efficiency or just the broken one? I asked how much more to replace both springs, and he said it was nothing additional, his quoted price was for both springs...so it was not an up sell. I had already planned on the $255 so I had both replaced. (Didn’t ask what replacing only the broken one ould cost) Work was completed in about an hour with zero drama, additional costs, or surprises. Very pleased. Will hire again. (Hope I don’t need to though! )

Great. They made the openers work quietly & replaced the rubber on bottom so the doors are sealed when closed. One of the better experiences we've had this year when it comes to contractors.

The gentleman Explained what the problem was and then corrected it. I plan to reach out to them for a single car garage door opener I need installed.

It was excellent. They came out for an estimate. We scheduled within a couple days, and then they came out to do the work. It took about two hours and they also removed and disposed of the old garage door.

Grove Overhead Door was a great company to work with! The owner came out on a saturday to give us a quote. The quote was clear and he was very honest with us about what upgrades he thought would be worth the money (even dissuaded us from a more expensive option because our garage faced the alley so the aesthetics just aren't as crucial). When the door was ready the crew came on time and worked through a serious storm to get the door installed. They even offered to return the next day to program the door for us since the power was out in the neighborhood when the installation was complete. A+++ service. Thanks!

I had some work done several months ago. It's been awhile. I'd hate to say no, but I'd have to say no, to be honest.

Old opener died. Called Grove based on their ratings on Angie's list. Lady that answered the phone was pleasant and very helpful. Scheduled replacement the next day. Installer arrived on time and the job was completed in about an hour. Very pleased with the opener and the service. We will use Grove again.

Great! Very professional, answered all my questions and tuned up the garage door.

They replaced the opener for $375. It took about a week for them to order and install it.

The garage door is much more quiet now and I have a good idea of where the door is at in its lifecycle.

I looked on Angies List for a company that had high ratings. Grove Overhead Door answered and woman on the phone was so pleasant that I scheduled the service. The owner came out and called to say he was on the way. He was right on time and worked continuously for a few hours. The door opener is much quieter than the old one. There are safety features we gained with this opener, to protect dogs or small children who might run under the door. He explained the features of the new opener and was great to work with. We are very pleased with his professionalism. He really knew his business but showed us instead of telling us. We would hire him again and will recommend him to any friends, or neighbors needing help with their garage opener or new garage doors. When we decide to replace our door someday, he will be the one we'll call.

Grove Overhead Door actually made a stop at my neighbor's house to fix their door and she knew mine wasn't working properly. She asked Doug if he could come look at my door as well. He came over and fixed the door in about 5 minutes. I also asked what it would take to fix the keypad remote thinking it would be a future appointment. 10 minutes later I had a new keypad installed. I appreciated his willingness to work on my door even though it was unplanned. Highly recommend!!

The service was not good. I still have trouble with my garage door. I guess I should have been there in the garage with him to see what he did. He said he was replacing the rollers. He wasn't here for long. I don't know if the heat of the summer has something to do with it or not but he couldn't tell me that. He wasn't helpful as far as trying to listen to me or give me option. I wouldn't recommend him and I wouldn't call him back. He put his decal above my garage door where you press it to open. He asked me before he did it but I didn't know it was so permanent. I tried to get it off but failed.

It went great, the company promptly called me to set up a time and date. Showed up exactly on time, which is a clear sign they take the work serious. I was quite busy that day and getting over bronchitis, but I missed the opportunity to replace the weather stripping and had to schedule a second appointment to do so. That was really important to me, and shame on me for not noticing that was not included. I have since scheduled a second appointment to do this work.
