The service provided was very courteous and professional. The team arrived promptly the day of installation around 8:30 am and were done before 4 pm. The team was great about asking our feedback during the project and willing to communicate throughout the process and answer any questions we had. The quality of the installation was great, the team sealed the crawlspace, the rims around the basement, as well as the vents around the sub-floor. We would definitely recommend their insulation services!

Service on both days were great. Duck and his crew just finished up weatherizing/adding insulation and was very impressed with their work. Top notch and would highly recommend.

We recently moved into an approximately 100 year-old house and we wanted to have an energy audit done to find out where the potential energy loss issues are rather than just randomly adding more insulation and ignoring other factors that are contributing to our old leaky house. Tom Greene came all the way out to Fredericktown from Columbus and spent about three hours conducting the audit on our house. He was very professional and knowledgable and offered us detailed solutions to help reduce our electric bills, some of which we could do ourselves and others that will require professional intervention. I was also impressed with the technology (infrared and blower test) that he used to detect where the leaks in the house are. Even though the audit was expensive, I feel that we got our monies worth in the form of information that we can use to make our house more energy efficient, thus reducing our energy costs. The team was fabulous. On time, courteous, knowledge and genuinely nice. They did what they said with a wonderful customer service style. They said it would be "as if they were not there" and delivered on that promise! Can't wait to see how this home improvement helps my utility bills. I love how the sealed can lights look and work! The crew once again arrived when they were scheduled. They had guys appointed for every task and they broke up into their areas to complete their designated job. Originally they thought it would be a most of the day process. Instead they were in and out in about 3-4 hours. They once again cleaned up after themselves and then some. The roof contractor who handled the exhaust pipes even came in to inform me of a couple things I should be aware of and have looked at. The team even allowed, almost encouraged me to see what they did for my own eyes as they explained/answered any of my questions. I am very pleased with this group and will use them again if the need arises!

He explained in detail what we should do to help make our home more energy efficient and ranked in order which solutions would help most. We scheduled work and received a reminder call. Employees of Greene Solutions showed up on time and immediately began work. They were very professional and we felt completely comfortable with leaving our house. Any questions or concerns were answered and addressed immediately. We are extremely happy with the project they completed and could tell immediately the difference in our house. When I purchased my home 1 1/2 yrs ago, Radon testing was routine and I was told it was high so I should find a company to remedy it. Radon is not something you can see or feel so it didn't feel like a pressing thing to do but it always stayed in the back of my mind that I should do something. Over time, I became more educated about radon and decided to not put it off any longer. After an energy audit in my home, I was referred to Greene Solutions for radon concerns. The two technicians Duck and Tommy and the team leader, Tyler, arrived on time and went right to work in the crawl spaces installing the system. Duck and Tommy were receptive to my questions and I had a lot. They explained where the radon would be and how the system would draw it out. Since I have three crawl spaces, I was concerned there would be pipes all over the place. So, Tyler and I talked about where the pipes would run in the crawl spaces and the basement. As a result there are only two vertical pipes along the walls coming out of two crawl space openings. Also, I was concerned as to how the system would look on the outside of my house. Tyler stated they would run the system through the wall in one crawl space into a corner in the back of the garage and up through the attic and the roof in the back of the house. That was a perfect solution, as it would only affect a small corner space in the garage and there would be no visible pipes running up the outside of the house. After installation, Tyler took the time to explain and educate me as to what to expect and what to be aware of with the system. The technicians, Duck and Tommy were very professional and courteous. They invited me to watch at any time as they worked and explained when I was watching exactly what they were doing. Not once did I ever feel I was bothering them with my questions seeking information and understanding. As a team, they were efficient, neat and productive in their work. I felt respected and my opinions were valued by this company. After the system was installed Tyler brought a radon tester to run for a few days. I received the report, which gave readings hour by hour and an overall average. The quantifiable result is that the radon level now is significantly lower as I could compare the readings post mitigation to the previous radon test report done when I purchased my home. The peace of mind that I now have is immeasurable; I no longer have the fear of the unseen harm to me and to others in my home.

Tyler and two other workers from Greene Solutions did an excellent job with putting the radon system in. Nancy and the electrician stopped out the day prior to run the electrical work for the system. Both days the workers arrived when they were expected, did the work and cleaned up after themselves. This is a group that does not seem annoyed with homeowner questions or having the homeowner around to see the work in progress. They verified placement with different aspects of the instillation which I greatly appreciated. They took their time to figure out the home layout and make sure they had the correct answer to any question that came up, they didn't just guess or "hope for the best". They also didn't assume it was okay to use the garage to set up their saw or that any door was okay to come and go from. They asked me prior to using which was appreciated. They all seemed like they enjoyed what they do and are there to improve the homes they are working in, not just there to get a pay check. I already have another job in the works with Greene Solutions and would recommend them to anyone. As someone who works nightshift they were very accommodating and easy to work with. They tried to keep things as quick and painless as possible!

Duck and his coworker arrived from Greene Solutions and did a wonderful job fixing my problems and cleaning up afterwards.My crawlspace looks great now and will not have all the moisture that it did before. Nancy arrived as they were completing their work and did another blower test that showed a substantial improvement in reducing the amount of leakage that I had from my home.

I LOVE Greene Solutions. I was not surprised when Thomas told me that my basement and crawlspace were under-insulated and that my house was leaky as a sieve. I WAS surprised by the reasonable price they charged to change all that. Owen and Jason did an amazing job; not only did they insulate the basement and crawlspace, but they also scoured my home looking for possible other insulation issues. The second post-installation audit revealed a substantial improvement and my basement has never looked or felt better. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.

As I was taught I got other estimates. Four of them and I estimated doing the job myself. The 'other' companies representatives seemed to arrive with a per-conceived notion of what my problems were and a plan of action of fix them., The Greene Solutions representative, Dwayne Petko, arrived with an open mind and listened to our problems and concerns. (we had installed a fireplace insert that was overwhelming our home with moist air.) He and I crawled all over my attic, discovering problems and discussing options to fix them. He prepared a complete line item estimate. The other contractors generally left a lump sum quote. My wife and I compared the contractors and while the other contractors were all known to us it was Dwayne complete professionalism that convinced us to move forward with Greene Solutions. From that point forward the plan-of-action prepared by Petko was followed. I did some of the remedial work myself but the 'hard part' was handled by the Greene Solutions crew under the supervision of the owners son. The result met all of our expectations. As an aside, I am a hard-core DIY guy who works in the home remodeling industry....... I know the horror stories. These guys were a class act. The best compliment I can give is. "They did what we agreed to, they did it on time and on budget." I'd hire them again.

I used this company in my previous house. We moved to this house last summer and found their ad in a local flyer. I called and they came to give a free energy audit. They had to put insulation in the crawl space over the attic where there was no insulation and we had them replace the insulation batting that was between the floor joists and concrete block walls in the basement. About a month after the work was performed, my husband noticed light coming in an area where there was a ?bump out? in the area where our hot water heater is. I called Greene Solutions and they set an appointment up for that week (working around my work schedule). The wood on the bottom of the ?bump out? stopped about ½ an inch short. The representative saw the problem and sprayed more foam to fill in the gap. This company is very reliable and when we decide to add more insulation to the other parts of the attic (which was code when this house was built in the 1990's) we will have them do it.

He was a professional and courteous. He even had helpful suggestions. He represented his company and AEP very good. Not necessary but was personable too.

Our energy audit was conducted in December and involved some thermal imaging and other testing to identify points of heat loss. Dwayne did this, and I'd concur with others who've reviewed the company in saying that he was punctual, professional, and helpful. He answered questions along the way and was clear and friendly. Because I haven't owned my home for long, he wasn't able to do a full analysis of past electric bills, but the report he sent a few days later was still really helpful. There was an overview of how electricity is generally utilized (percentages assigned to different appliances, eg.), which helped me understand where we should invest in reducing energy costs. He also pointed out a few small things we could do (caulking, a fireplace "balloon") to immediately reduce drafts. I signed on to have additional work done by Greene Solutions. Insulation in our attics was the big-ticket item. We hit a snag with scheduling around some of the smaller items I also requested, and that was resolved very professionally. The crew that came to do the insulation matched my earlier experience: nice guys, attentive to keeping my house clean (they vacuumed afterwards!), clear in explanations of everything. This was a very good experience and I'd recommend them without reservation.

The crew arrived on time, was very polite, nice, etc. Finished in ~3 hours or so. Cleaned up after themselves well. Appeared to do very thorough work -- all the nooks and crannies filled in. We had used Greene Solutions years ago for attic and other insulation and were happy to use them again. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect. They were on time, fast, and clean. The workers kept me informed of everything they were doing, and let me see the work. I can already feel the difference from what I had to what i have now. I cannot say thanks enough for doing a great job.

On December 28, 2015, Greene Solutions sprayed foam in the crawl space rim joints of my condo. I appreciate that one of the workers phoned to tell me that they were running late and the approximate time of their arrival. The workers were polite and efficient. The cool draft that I felt sitting at my kitchen counter seems to be less, an improvement that I like.

? My review for green solutions is they are very professional yet very personable. They were mannerly, clean, worked well as a team, came on time, went to work right away and were out in a reasonable amount of time. They took me around and showed me all of the things that they did for me and within a day I was already feeling the results of their work. I would recommend green solutions highly in every respect. The company the owner, Thomas, even came out and gave me the estimate and was honest and good about everything that he spoke. There was a reschedule needed from the office was they were professional and courteous. Dwayne (hope it's the right spelling) was helpful and informative.

It went great, very professional from free quote to installation: - Installers double and triple check all decisions and showed me all work done with pictures taken of the work in the attic - added extra layer of insulation to entire attic (added a few extra inches than quoted for no cost) - Fixed several open areas in attic where heat was escaping to garage, roof, or fireplace - replaced 8 ceiling "canned" lights in house with caulked LED lights to stop leaking to the attic - Had a free home AEP energy assessment that included free LED light bulbs, low volume shower head, power strip, and LED night light I was very satisfied and please with the results. The money is well invested and I will see lower energy costs for both heating and cooling.

Thomas Greene was my primary contact through the entire process, from the audit to the completion of the project. He was thorough, professional and patient. I had a lot of questions, all of which Thomas took the time to explain in layman's terms. I now have a 12 page audit report that provides a complete summary including very helpful photos, pages of thermal photos showing where there are leaks throughout the house. The several projects took two days. Day 1: Cleaning the ducts, Day 2: everything else. Everyone involved was professional and a pleasure to work with. As expected with an older house, the team ran into a few obstacles. Insulating the area containing the bathroom pipes was problematic at first due to the previous owner's unsuccessful attempts to prevent them from freezing. But the Greene Solutions team did not give up and spent hours investigating and problem solving until a solution was reached. I expressed my interest in wanting to know how things were progressing and was pleased that everyone was proactive in calling me over to explain things, show me progress and generally keep me informed. It was nice to see their passion. They care about the work they perform as a result it's a job well done. We have areas in the house needing more insulation and plan to have Greene Solutions complete the job sometime in the future.
