I was highly impressed with the Greene Solutions team. Not only was the work they performed of high quality (and done efficiently), but everyone I interacted with was professional, personable, and straight-forward. The guys who performed the work were awesome! I also really appreciated that while providing an initial quote, Thomas gave me honest feedback about what work I didn't really need. I had a great experience with Greene Solutions, and recommend them.

We contracted with GreenE Solutions a couple of years ago to complete an energy audit and to map out a series energy saving projects to achieve desired energy efficiency and comfort goals for our 30 year old home. The last two projects were completed in September 2019. First vapor seal our partial basement’s crawl space floor and walls and second to use the unique Aeroseal Technology to internally seal our gas furnace/air condition’s ductwork. GreenE Solution’s four man team (Jason, Owen, Pearse and Harvey) arrived promptly at 8:30 am and began both projects. They worked very effectively and efficiently as a team to accomplish each project in a professional way always respecting our home’s interior and keeping us abreast of their progress. We are especially excited to have the Aeroseal Technology applied to our ‘leaky’ duct system as it has vastly improved the performance and efficiency of our Lennox furnace and air conditioning systems. We noticed immediate relief in the summer heat and so did our A/C unit! The house remains at a constant temp through the whole summer and all of this winter. It was the single best investment that we have made. Working with Greene Solutions was totally frustration free. They did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and passed my expectations on the work, cleanup and after care that they provided. I would (and have) recommended them to others with no hesitation.

This was an excellent experience. Thomas provided a consultation in mid-September after an energy audit and provided a number of suggestions to improve the efficiency of our home. He was straightforward on where we'd get the biggest bang for our buck if we decided not to do everything all at once. Even though we scheduled everything nearly a month out -- his crew showed up on exactly the date and time that we had discussed in September (this is practically unheard of!). Everyone was extremely courteous, worked hard and and treated our home as if it was their own. When we found an additional area that needed insulated, these guys took the initiative to point it out and were able to add on the additional service at a reasonable cost. Would hire these guys again in a heartbeat.

Green Solutions is a stellar company. It all began when Tyler came to give me an estimate. Initially, I planned to insulate only the crawl space, garage and garage attic space. But I also had Tyler inspect the two other attic spaces so I would know what to do for the future. However, the inspection was so thorough and informative, I decided to have all the work done at once. A few weeks later, the team--Thomas, Pearse, Owen, and Jason--arrived early and got to work right away. They are great guys, great at what they do, and the quality of the work reflected that. They were incredibly efficient and were able to get all the insulation installed on the first day in roughly 5 hours time. They arrived the the next day and wrapped up things in a few hours, finishing the attic hatches, bathroom fan vent, and insulated box for the sump pump (which is located in the garage). They used a variety of materials. In the crawl space, they sealed the vapor barrier to the floor, spray foamed the walls and sealed the heating ducts that run under the house. In the lower attic, they added insulation above the stairs where there was none, added Tyvek to the knee walls to seal any air leaks and added roughly 16 inches of blow-in fiberglass insulation. In the higher attic, they again added roughly 16 inches of fiberglass and vented the bathroom fan through the roof. In the garage, they insulated the attic space as they did the other two attics and added spray foam to the knee wall that abuts the master bedroom. They also added spray foam and batting to the garage walls and built an insulated box to cover the sump pump. I'm immensely pleased with the work that was done. The temperature in my three-level, 1970s split is more consistent among the levels; the furnace isn't running as often or as long, trying to heat all three floors; and the garage has remained consistency above 45 degrees. And best of all, my bedroom is no longer a freezer. I highly recommend this company for it's professionalism, quality of product, and definitely the quality of work. And they are just great guys: friendly, personable, and professional.

Everything went amazingly well and the results of their Aeroseal duct sealing service has been spectacular. We have noticed a consistent temperature throughout the entire house and we anticipate see a reduction on our electric/gas bills as a result of the work.

I had a fantastic experience with Greene Solutions! Every point of contact was professional, from office associates to the company's owner. I own an old house (100 years old) with knob-and-tube wiring. That old wiring threw a spanner in the works, i.e., the old wiring had to come out in order to install insulation. I had a devil of a time finding an electrical company to do this job. Finally I called Greene Solution's owner (I was in tears) and said I was giving up; no one would do the job. He told me he'd try to find a company while I was vacationing in VT. Well, when I got back, he'd located a company and my contacts with that company (Brett Short Circuits) were completely satisfactory. There were several phases to my project, and all went splendidly. The solar attic fan was installed and I'm very pleased. Basement ductwork was sealed (Aeroseal). My goodness! Positive results were immediate: I moved one entire category higher in efficient usage with both the gas and electric companies! The old attic insulation was removed before the electrical work started. Greene Solutions did this attic cleaning. What a dirty job! Given the age of my house, the workers had to contend with a mega-buildup of old coal dust. Yuck! The electrical company (Brett Short Circuits) then did the rewiring of my entire house. This was a huge job and I was completely satisfied with their work. The team of electricians assigned to my job was excellent, extremely hard workers. They were very conscientious about cleaning before they left each evening. They used canvas drop cloths to cover my furniture as they moved from room to room. Finally, they kept me entirely 'in the loop' re their schedules. I appreciated their courteous and respectful attitudes. Their work was approved and signed off on immediately by city inspectors. New wiring in place, the project then moved to the insulation phase of the project. Greene Solutions did this phase of the project. It took two days to get this job done. Attic, walls, and basement were insulated. This was another hugely dirty job, given the old coal dust in my house. For those of you who don't have experience with coal dust ... thank your lucky stars. It gets into everything (even wood grain) and it stays. This particular phase of the project took two days. I was very pleased with Greene Solution's team of workers. They were courteous, respectful of my space, and were heads-down workers. Another great team! Door installation awaits delivery of the doors. Of course, all had to be custom-made, given the age of my house. Greene Solutions will do this phase of the project and I anticipate no problems. I highly recommend Greene Solutions. I am very pleased with the partnership we forged as I took steps towards reducing my carbon footprint.

This was a challenging job in a very old house. The job was completed in one day due to the hard working employees. They were polite, competent and careful. I did discover a small section that was not completed on the day of work. Thomas Greene was very responsive to this issue and it was timely corrected.

Tom Greene and his crew were wonderful. They observed a mold issue in the attic and worked with my mold remediation company to complete the job in as efficient a manner/timing as possible. Great company, great crew, and reasonable price. Hopefully I'll never need them again, but if I do. I'll definitely call them.

Great contractor experience. From the first visit by Thomas to evaluate the job and give an estimate things went great. Thomas took to the time to carefully evaluate the needs and explain options. Scheduled the work and the crew was here when they said they would be and did what the said they would. The crew also took time to point out and explain what they were doing and took time to answer any questions. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up as they were doing the work. They showed what they were doing at each step of the job and very transparent in what they were doing. Work crew with great work ethic and customer service. They had great attention to detail and I feel they worked like they would if it was their own home. They did a great job cleaning up when job was complete. I would highly recommend this company. All work went well. Contractor seemed to be in a hurry on the garage attic, which was done last. Insulation not quite as level as house attic.

Tyler was very professional. He ran into some unexpected problems but he came out with solution very quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

From beginning to end, Greene Solutions did an awesome job! After I had a recent home energy audit conducted through Columbia Gas, I had four local companies out for an estimate. Tom Greene was by far the most thorough and detailed of the four representatives that provided me with estimates. He answered any and all questions that I had during and after the estimate. Duck, T2 (Thomas), Pearse, and J came to do the work and did a great job! They communicated with me throughout the process and went about things very professionally. They did quite a lot and was very efficient in getting their work done. --Added R60 insulation to the attic. --Installed all new baffles at the soffit vents. --Weatherized attic access to R38, weather stripped, and caulked. --Air sealed over the garage and pipes, gaps, and holes. --Replaced the fiberglass insulation in the basement rim joists and sprayed foam to seal up. My wife and I are considering other work in the future at our house and will definitely use Greene Solutions again.

We have Greene Solutions do an energy audit on our home recently to find any trouble spots that needed addressing for energy efficiency. While our home was overall in good shape, they did identify some problem areas that could be addressed. Some of them I was able to tackle myself, and I hired Greene Solutions a couple months later to come out and do the rest. Duck & T2 were my crew and they were exactly on time, very courteous, efficient and thorough. They went above and beyond to make sure any household items near the work area were not messed up, and they cleaned up after themselves. They did a great job insulating the two attic spaces, and the basement spray foam insulation as well. I'm looking forward to the lower energy bills and increased comfort this summer.

Smoothly from the moment I called to make appointment to the finish. Thomas spent time evaluating our energy loss and explained the entire process. Duck and T2 (aka the other Thomas) came in and took care of my home like it was their own. Immediately I had to remove the extra layer of clothing that I always have had to wear in this house since we purchased it 3 years ago. And a few hours later I turned down the thermostat!

Everyone was great to work with. Explained everything that needed done and made suggestions about what should be done first with your budget in mind.

Their solution included sealing up two crawlspaces, properly venting bathroom fans, adding ceiling insulation, and sealing up various leaky spots, such as attic access doors. I asked them dfor their advertised Angie's List discount- they gave me about 3% off instead of 10%. I asked them to not do the attic in the main house and focus on the addition- they said the price would not change significantly. They had a guy come out and do the vans who was, great, and this did improve conditions. Then they sent a team of really nice guys out to do the sealing and insulating. Since last winter was so mild, we weren't sure we had a great improvement. It still seemed cold to us this winter. Well, last night was the first really cold night this winter, and sure enough the pipe to that sink has frozen. So their efforts under the house and between the main build and addition seem to have been fruitless. Disappointing.

Greene Solutions was contracted through Arrow Roofing and Siding to blow fiberglass insulation into the attic. Duck and T2 got right to work, finished ahead of time, and cleaned up afterwards. Baffles were installed to the soffets, and the entry hatch was built up to prevent insulation from entering the closet space.

They were very responsive on the job and did a very nice job. Worked through very cold weather. The price was a little higher than I was hoping but it was a lot of work. Only complaint, even though very minor, was one of the workers broke a step from our attic pull down access and did not replace it.

The sales rep, Tyler Greene, was very thorough in his explanation of what needed to be done and how the work would be performed. The two man crew - Tomas and Luke - were diligent, knowledgeable, and courteous. They did an excellent job in both the install and the clean up. We would highly recommend this company and this crew.

Donald and Owen did a thorough and professional job, doing the little extras needed and as promised. They kept me informed throughout the project, having me inspect their work several times during the four hour project.

Jason and Luke were very professional and neat with insulating the attic space. Nancy performed an AEP audit which highlighted areas of concern in the house (like fireplace air leaks) and tips on how to save energy. They were able to schedule service before their competitors were able to schedule estimates. I recommend Greene Solutions.

It was a great experience. First off, Thomas came to my home to determine what needed to be done and provided me with an estimate. We scheduled the install. The team arrived at the scheduled time, and was extremely courteous and professional. They were very conscious of what needed to be completed did quality work in a reasonable amount of time. In addition, they made sure the area was free of any debris. I was very pleased and felt they had my best interest at heart, and the cost was reasonable. I would definitely hire them again.
