Called to reschedule time, then did not show up at agreed to time.

I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for 6 hours of house cleaning services. I emailed the contact name three possible dates that would work for me and asked that he send 2 cleaners for 3 hours (rather than 1 for 6 hours). He got back to me with a mutually convenient time and said that he would send at least 2 cleaners. The crew arrived as scheduled and cleaned my house for a total of 6 man hours. I was happy with the job that Golden Shine did and would recommend their cleaning services.

The lady and gentleman team were outstanding. They were pleasant, careful, and extremely hard working. They didn't even take a short break and worked steadily the whole time. They followed all of my instructions as well. I couldn't be happier. The owner also contacted me within 24hrs to schedule. I have used them before and certainly will again.

I told the company at the onset that my this was a Mother's Day gift. At the onset, the first days available were over a week away and I told them that I had to clear the day with my Mom. It took quite a bit of back and forth before we were able to land on a date. This was mostly on our side as, initially, my mom wanted to be home for the actual cleaning. Since she works as a nurse, this wasn't really going to work out. On the agreed date, I got a call 20 minutes after they were supposed to arrive from the owner. He indicated that no one had answered the door on the first ring so he had sent the crew to a different house. My brother had been at the house the whole time and didn't hear a thing. I let the owner know that this was unacceptable as he wasn't offering me a solution at all. He said he would call me back. I waited the rest of the day and he never called. The next day, I received a message on Angie's List and we agreed on a different date. In the end, it was acceptable to just move to another day. On the second attempt, the crew showed up on time. The only issue was that they really barely cleaned anything. They didn't mop any of the floors. They didn't vacuum. They didn't clean the downstairs bathroom. They didn't sweep any of the floors. They didn't clean in the dinning, family, or living room. Overall, the service just didn't impress us at all. We wouldn't use them again.

Cleaners arrived on time, were friendly, professional and thorough. They cleaned for the full 2 hours and did a great job.

The cleaning did not go as well as I had hoped. They were due to arrive at 2pm & showed up @ 10:30am. They spoke to the manager who advised them to come back at 2pm because there was a mix up with the schedule. The biggest problem is that they spoke Portugese and not English. The guy had a translator app on his phone but there were still communication issues. I only asked for the downstairs to be cleaned but they went upstairs to the bedroom & the bathroom as well.

People who did the cleaning did an excellent job. Problem with language .... people did not understand a word of English so it was impossible to communicate special instructions.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for Golden Shine Cleaning Services and they were able to get me scheduled fairly quickly. The cleaners showed up on time. They did an outstanding job on my kitchen but they did not complete some other minor cleaning items like vacuuming the stairs. Over all they did a good job.

The deal I purchased was $80 for 4 hours of cleaning service. The provider came with 3 people and cleaned 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a sitting room and a family room. They cleaned all surfaces including blinds and floors. They did a great job and were very efficient!

Great team of one man and 2 women. They were prompt, pleasant, hard working, efficient, and careful. I asked that they not use chemicals and they were willing to use water and products I provided. I will definitely use them again.

Scheduled additional cleanings, but decide to cancel the services due to some damage resulting from the cleaning personnel.

They were by far the most thorough company I have had clean in my home thus far. They were punctual, moved fast and did a fantastic job! I will recommend them to others and have them again.

On the first scheduled date in February, the company emailed me minutes before the appointment to postpone saying it was too cold to do the work. I was alright with this, so we rescheduled for today at noon. I called the provider 30 minutes past noon to see where they were, they then called me back after 1 o'clock to postpone the work again. I wanted to give them a chance to redeem their work, but I was let down again by the provider and find this very unprofessional and unacceptable. I had rescheduled my entire day to work around this appointment and the provider has proven extremely unresponsive.

Very hardworking crew. Were on time. Brought their own supplies.

There was no additional cost. They cleaned the sink and the floors. They were a little bit careless with their tools and made few marks in the wall and the table. They need to be more careful.
