I called to set up a time for them to come out, they said they would call me back but never heard anything back. Would not recommend them!

The scheduler and technician were pleasant and efficient! I would definitely call them again.

I reached out for a quote last month and the company left me a voicemail on 9/3. I called back the same day and had to leave a message. Didn’t hear back from anyone for over two weeks. Sent a message through the app on 9/20 and was given the quote I requested within a couple hours which was appreciated. However I needed to discuss with my spouse so didn’t immediately respond. On 9/24 I sent another message asking to schedule and provided my availability and asked that they let me know what was possible to schedule. It’s again over 2 weeks later and I still haven’t heard from the company.

Jerry and assistant were on time and very professional. They were efficient, explained everything to me and identified an issue with the top cap. I plan to hire them to do the work for the top cap as well...

Technician arrived on time, as scheduled. All work performed as quoted, completed as quoted. Techs appeared to be very knowledgeable about all processes and work to be done. Price quoted honored and seemed to be reasonable for 2 days' work and materials.

The job was done well. Estimate was provided within a couple of days. Work was scheduled, the team showed up right on time and the work was completed with good quality and everything was cleaned up. We are very satisfied.

Flames much bigger now. Hadn't been cleaned in 20 years. For safety, recommended cleaning and checking for maintenance annually. Jerry, tech, even cleaned the glass inside and out and reattached a cover that had dropped inside the base of the unit. I highly recommend this company.

They came on time and did a very good job.

Patrick was punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to explain how the fireplace works and made useful recommendations. My fireplace works now and I know what to do if it stops working again. I HIGHLY recommend Fireplace Pros and Patrick in particular. As to the cost, I found it to be favorably competitive.

Took time off work for appointment. Jerry was very late, unapologetic, and unfriendly. The work on the chimney and firebrick replacement was good. Patched some gaps around fireplace doors, which looked very sloppy and was cracking and falling apart within a month. This was at my old house. Called them in a moment of desperation for a free quote on a water leak issue on the chimney at my new house. Was told they’d be out in a couple weeks and would contact me with the estimate. They never came. I called and left a message for an update and never heard back. Weak! Will not be contacting again.

Great! Patrick was on time and very educational! I have never used a gas fireplace before and he was very patient and walked me through exactly how to use the fireplace including how to detect and shutoff gas should there be a problem. He inspected the chimney too. He was on time, very knowledgeable, and very thorough. I would definitely recommend Fireplace Pros and use them again.

The appointment reminder and invoice were arrived by email but nobody showed up for the appointment with no notice. No return phone call.

Just heard from the company. Seems we have had communication mix-up. Am working with Mary to pick a good time for them to do the work. Will evaluate when completed.

Great service ad work...professional, efficient and friendly

Flue was placed in chimrney correctly. Repairman verified that no other work was necessary at this time. A different company had quoted me new equipment for a $500 total that was not needed. Fireplace Pro saved me hundreds of dollars and I know have a professional company that I trust and can count on to do my fireplace cleaning g and work.

He was very courteous &'knowledgeable. But, I have to get a second opinion on all the work that needs done.

It would have went well. He came through a bad weather storm. They couldn't go up and check the chimney. I tried to reschedule when it was dry and they wouldn't give me the discount. They wanted to charge me more than the original price which I canceled. Other than that it was fine. They came, and he looked in the fire pit. I had already pretty much cleaned it. So, he really didn't have to do anything. He said he could pretty much see up there and it appeared to be okay. Like I said it was a rainstorm. When he tried to go up to the roof, it really wasn't safe. It was pretty much weather-related more than anything. They did give me the price that I had which was $15 from the regular price. He looked at it and did what he could. It was the owner that came out.Someone answered the phone for him. He was the only one that came out. I wasn't totally displeased, I was more upset that they wouldn't let me reschedule because they couldn't get on the top of the roof. I'm trying to be fair to them too and say look its pouring down raining, it's not a good day to do this, could they reschedule. I called ahead and asked them if we could reschedule. Whoever answered the phone said they couldn't give me the discount price, whatever I paid for it because I was canceling. So, I said, go ahead and come. He said it would be the original price, but when he quoted me it was more than what the advertisement said what their actual price was. I did the math, and it would have cost me more than if I would have worked out the discount. They charged me the price that I had already paid. He came in and stuck a little stick inside the fire box inside of the house. He was a very nice guy. I don't feel I got my money's worth. They seem to be fine on responsiveness. For his professionalism was an A. I was asking about getting a sealant on the outside and he didn't pressure me. He said:"Here's the quote for it. It's preventative if you do it frequently it helps save it, to me, but it doesn't really do that much for it. So, he's not a high-pressure salesman at all. He said if you decide to do it, give me a call, I'd wait until it's a nice day because I put two coats. I appreciated that. I had got a special I don't think there would've been a problem. If I had paid the regular price I don't think there would've been an issue.

We signed up with him. He came out and looked at the fireplace and looked at the chimney where the furnace used to be and looked at the water heater. It was the water heater that was leaking carbon monoxide. He claimed he cleaned everything. He didn't have any tools for cleaning. He just had a flashlight. I don't know how he could have done it. The solution was a pipe that would exhaust the water heater. What he suggested as it turns out is the best solution. When I called to cancel he said he already ordered the parts and that was a disservice to him. I said the I had the gas company come out and we weren't leaking much. It wasn't as critical as I thought. We are about to have someone else resolve it at a much lower price. He came out within two hours. He was here about 45 minutes. He went up on the roof and looked down. There wasn't much that he disturbed.

He's done a really good job. There was a problem with the flue and he came out multiple times to address the issue and didn't charge extra.

I was not really happy with them, the work was mediocre and then they took more then the estimate. One person came out.

We purchased our home last year. One of the selling points was the large stone fireplace, which was listed as having a new liner installed just before the house went on the market. Much to our chagrin, when we lit our first fire, smoke came into the living room. We called a company out to inspect the fireplace and learned that the wrong liner had been installed. The fireplace is wood burning, but had a gas start and the liner installed was the size for a gas fireplace. We called our realtor and she was able to procure the invoice for the work from the previous homeowner. The work had been done by Fireplace Professionals. We had little hope of avoiding a costly repair, but decided to call to find out if the company would work with us. Jerry came out to take a look at the work. He indicated that the wrong liner was indeed put in place. He also agreed to make it right, even though it was the previous homeowner who had contracted his company. Honestly, I was shocked. I really thought he would tell us that since we didn't work with his company on the install that they could not help us. It is rare in this day and age to find someone who will stand behind their work in this manner. Jerry worked with us to schedule a date. Chris and the other gentleman who came out were prompt, polite, and professional. They made quick work of the demo and Jerry himself came out the next day to complete the install. As it turned out, a custom liner was needed as our fireplace is an irregular shape. Jerry schedule a new date with us to complete the work. He made the custom liner and called us when it was ready, which was a week earlier than promised. The work is completed and we couldn't be happier or more grateful. I am impressed by the integrity of this company, their willingness to make things right, and their excellent customer service. Jerry took a misunderstanding that wasn't even with us and made things right. We are very pleased with our fireplace and look forward to many crackling fires.

The contractor arrived promptly, the same day I requested service. The job was completed thoroughly and cleanly (no mess from the fireplace soot).

They were very professional. I was impressed with the video camera equipment they used to inspect the chimney, and watched as they viewed each mortar joint up and down the flue. They were prompt, efficient, friendly and neat. Good value for money.
