Great, prompt, professional, thorough.

Every person that showed up to do the work was extremely kind. The service was excellent. I have 4 cats not by choice and everyone from Favret was cautious not to let them out. After all of the work done, I still have 4 cats.

The company was great in terms of service and responsiveness; Rudy, our technician, was friendly, knowledgeable, prompt and concerned about things like us getting to work on time and not letting the dogs slip out the door when he came in and out. The first motor he installed blew - he reassured us that the particular brand of motor in question was very reliable and that this was an unusual occurrence, and then replaced it immediately, at no charge. He was here a total of three times, but only one service charge was charged and while he was at it, he checked the switch and the thermostat to make sure those were in working order and not contributing to the problem. We wouldn't hesitate to call Favret again for any heating or AC problem.

Brad was AWESOME! He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, efficient, AND wore ''shoe booties.'' Our nephew, 10, was visiting over the holidays. Brad went ''above and beyond'' and answered all of our nephew's unending questions. Also, he let our nephew use his Carbon Monoxide detector in all of our rooms and explained all about fire detectors and carbon monoxide detectors. Also, he gave me a pair of ''booties'' to use to cover my electric smoke detector when it goes off when I am cooking and you cannot figure out a way to make it stop. We use Favret for our home and office--wouldn't even consider any other company!!!

I called Favret the morning I discovered the furnace was not working and they had a technician out to the house within 2 hours. He explained the problem and had the system up and running within 30 minutes. We were very happy with their responsiveness and quality of work. They also offer a 10% discount on service calls.

Service rep was on time, polite, & knowledgeable.

Greg the service tech was polite and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions. Good experience overall.

Mark, the owner I believe, was on schedule, polite, and professional. He diagnosed the problem, cleaned the sensors, and then took the time to carefully check that the repair had taken care of the problem. I was charged only for the initial call, less the Angie's List discount.

The technician arrived in the scheduled window, was very polite and professional, and completed the job ahead of schedule. He made sure I understood everything that was done and answered all of my questions. The price was fair and competitive with other estimates I received.

FAVRET CAME OUT SOON ENOUGH -- REPLACED IGNITER AND WERE ON THEIR WAY -- NO PROBLEMS.

THEY OFFER AN ANNUAL SERVICE CONTRACT, AND IT SAVED US A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT OF MONEY OVER CALLING THEM ON AN EMERGENCY BASIS.

NOT VERY INFORMATIVE. THEY WERE PROMPT AND PROFESSIONAL.

We had a poor experience with Favret with regard to the filter issue. We informed them of the need for the filter in advance and they failed to provide it. Then their service technician was uneducated about the filter availability. Finally, when Favret realized the filter was out of stock and then back ordered, we should have received a phone call. All of our prior experience with the company, however has been favorable.

OUR OLD FURNACE DIED ON A THURSDAY (OF COURSE). ON FRIDAY, PHIL FAVRET MADE A HOUSE CALL AFTER NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS TO HELP DETERMINE WHAT I NEEDED. SO, IT WAS A COLD WEEKEND. THEY INSTALLED THE FURNACE ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. EVERYTHING WORKED OUT GREAT. THE ONLY PROBLEM I ENCOUNTERED WAS THAT THEY DID NOT HOOK UP OUR EXISTING HEAT PUMP. I DIDN'T NOTICE IT UNTIL MANY MONTHS LATER. AFTER TWO MORE VISITS, THEY ALMOST HAVE THE PROBLEM SOLVED. THE LAST TECHNICIAN SAID THAT HE RAN OUT OF WIRE AND WOULD HAVE TO COME BACK. IT'S BEEN A MONTH, AND I HAVEN'T HEARD ANYTHING. I'M NOT SURE I'M IN A HUGE HURRY BECAUSE I'VE HEARD THAT THE HIGH-EFFICIENCY FURNACE MAKES HEAT PUMPS LESS NECESSARY.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT. NOT ONLY WERE THEY HONEST, BUT THEY GAVE ME TIPS ON KEEPING THE DUCTWORK CLEAN FOR THE LONG HAUL. FANTASTIC!!!!

I CAN'T UNDERSTAND WHY THIS COMPANY IS RATED SO HIGH ON ANGIE'S LIST. WHEN I CALLED FAVRET MY CALL WAS TRANSFERRED TO A WOMAN IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WHO COULD ONLY QUOTE THE PRICE FOR LABOR ($96 FOR THE 1ST HALF HOUR, AND $28 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL 15 MINUTES). THERE WAS NO SET PRICE FOR CHECKING THE HEATING SYSTEM AS THE OTHER THREE ANGIE'S LIST "A" RATED FIRMS I CHECKED. SO NO, IT'S NOT AS FOREIGN AS SHE MADE IT SOUND. WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE PRICING TO ADD A HUMIDIFIER, SHE WANTED TO TRANSFER ME TO THE PARTS DEPARTMENT, AND AGAIN BEGAN TO QUOTE THE LABOR PRICES. AGAIN, THE OTHER THREE FIRMS HAD A SET PRICE FOR THE HUMIDIFIER AND INSTALLATION. THE WOMAN MADE ME FEEL LIKE I WAS BOTHERING HER BY QUESTIONING THE FIRM'S PRICING STRATEGY, AND ASKING MY QUESTIONS. IN SHORT, I WENT WITH ANOTHER FIRM RECOMMENDED ON ANGIE'S LIST.

IT WAS GREAT. I RECEIVED A CALL PRIOR TO THE ARRIVAL OF THE REPAIR PERSON. SHE WAS PLEASANT AND SHE TOOK CARE TO PLACE SHOE COVERS ON UPON ENTRY TO MY HOME.

THE SERVICE PERSON WAS ON TIME, VERY POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL. HE CHECKED OVER WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE, BUT DID NOT HAVE THE PARTS. HE ASKED ME IF I WOULD BE AT HOME FOR A FEW MORE HOURS, I SAID YES. HE SAID HE WOULD RETURN IN 2 HOURS AND COMPLETE THE JOB, WHICH HE DID.

WAS RIGHT ON TIME, CLEANED UP AFTER HIMSELF AND DIDN'T MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A NIT WIT WHEN HE TOLD ME THE REASON MY HEAT WASN'T WORKING WAS BECAUSE MY PILOT LIGHT WAS OUT.

THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THAT HE WROTE ON THE BILL THAT I HAD RUST. HE DID NOT TELL ME PERSONALLY, HE JUST WROTE IT ON THE WORK ORDER.

WE DID NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEIR EARLIEST APPOINTMENT WASN'T UNTIL MID-DECEMBER (I CALLED THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER). I COMMENTED TO RECEPTIONIST THAT THIS SEEMED LIKE A LONG WAIT, AND SHE DIDN'T SEEM TOO CONCERNED THAT THEY WERE NOT GOING TO GET OUR BUSINESS.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, EXPLAINED THE WORK TO BE DONE AND ARE FAIRLY PRICED.

INITIALLY WE THOUGHT IT WAS A GAS LEAK. USED THEM BECAUSE THEY CAN DO BOTH GAS LEAKS AND H/C. COMPANY TRIED TO FIX AS IF IT WAS A LEAK AND DISCOVERED THE DAMAGE WAS MORE EXTENSIVE. WAS COST PROHIBITIVE TO FIX. RECOMMENDED A SMALL EFFICIENT FURNACE. CLEANED DUCTS AND DID IT VERY QUICKLY. SOME SLIGHT ISSUES WITH CLEAN UP, BUT NOTHING TOO SERIOUS. WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN WITH NO SECOND THOUGHTS.

THE REP WAS VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. WE WERE PLEASED AND SIGNED UP FOR THEIR 1-YEAR SERVICE CONTRACT, WHICH SEEMS VERY REASONABLY PRICED.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I USED THEM AND THEY ARE A JOY TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE VERY CLEAN, NEAT, AND TIDY AND GAVE ME SOME HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS.
