I called about 5pm on Friday evening thinking no one would answer but they had a calling service and the gentleman called me within 10 min. of my call. He was just returning home from a long day but said he would be there within 40 min. to have a look at my heat pump. He said he may not be able to repair it and told me up front that I would still have to pay a service call or I could wait until Saturday when I might have better luck because of needing parts. I told him to go ahead and come because it was quite warm that evening. He was very honest and wanted to make sure I understood it might not be able to repaired but he felt certain he could probably have it running for us. He came within the 40 min and had our unit running within 10 min. He was very professional and explained every thing he was doing. Our heat pump has ran great since and I got a service plan from Favret so they can come to check it before winter.

We called Favert on Monday and had an appointment the next day with the sales repersentive. Paul Williams arrived on time, gave us a lot of information, took measurments and quoted us different options in writing, all in the same visit. At no time were we pressured to buy or to add any options. I will point out at this time that rebates and packages do lead the buyer in a direction. We waited two days before deciding to buy. The following Monday they squeezed us in the schedule to clean the heat ducts so they would be cleaned before the new unit would be installed. The men cleaning the ducts did a thorough job from what I inspected. All of the work had been done as explained to us by Mr Williams. Two days after the cleaning the installers came as scheduled doing the complete job in one day. Favert had different people arriving during the day to complete different portions of the work. The last person working on the unit at the end of the day gave us a run down on the new unit and answered the many questions we had. The only problem we had was the outside unit was not installed as quoted. The techinican argreed with us and told us they would call the next day to set up an appointment to correct it. This was done on the second day and completed even though it took four hours and three people. Our new unit has been running for over a month and I am still quite satisfied. I believe the Favert Company's biggest asset is the quality and skill of their workers.

I have used Favret since I bought my house in 2007 to inspect and clean my furnace and air conditioner. They have always been on time and courteous. Since my furnace was upwards of 30 years old, it was time to have it replaced for efficiency and reliability purposes. I didn't hesitate to call Favret for the quote.I spoke with the sales rep at the Spring Home and Garden show, and provided my information for an estimate. He came out the next week to provide an estimate. Since the estimate was within my budget (and Carrier was offering large discounts at the time), I went ahead and scheduled the installation. The sales rep recommended additonal items to purchase that would be appropriate (upgraded thermostat, additional duct, duct cleaning, etc) I did go with the thermostat, but did not end up needing the duct cleaning.The install took 2 days to fully complete. I was left with a working furnace after the first day, since it was still cold outside. All technicians involved were professional and not intrusive.Since it was still cold outside during the install, the air conditioning could not be fully charged. I called a month later to schedule this service, and received the same great service. I would definitely recommend Favret to anybody looking for furnace installation or repair.

There was nothing that I disliked about them. They were very professional. They did a great job. I was very pleased with them. Their price was reasonable. I thought it was a good deal. They told me that I probably wouldn’t need to use them again for several years.

My A/C unit stopped pushing cold air, so after checking the fuses I called Favret mid-afternoon. I got an appt. same day, the employee showed up within 5-8pm as scheduled (about 6pm), he quickly found the problem. My capacitor on the outside fan/compressor blew, he had the part available in his truck, replaced it. Then, he found my air filter, which was not in its normal spot, behind two metal doors in my AC/furnace unit, replaced the filter. He also cleaned and vacuumed the motor in the furnace unit making the air much easier to push through the house. Then, he cut a hole in the metal intake to the furnace so I could slide the filter in/out, which was a much more practical, easier to use way to get to the filter than before. So, he basically did 3 jobs when I hired him to do one. By 8pm, he was gone, my A/C works again, very happy with service. Very professional job and nice guy. Definitely recommend. And I got a $28 discount from an angieslist coupon, which he told me about before I paid him! Awesome.

The company had a service technician available the day after my call, and the technician was courteous and professional. My air conditioner is working properly again.

AC stopped working and the company who owns the service agreement did not show up for repairs. I called Favret and they responded immediately (on a Saturday) and the AC was fixed within 4 hours of the initial phone call.

They were just fine to deal with. They have been around for years and are very creditable. They always do work and will stand behind it. The crew was friendly and professional as well. I did have a few minor problems but they were very quick to get those fixed. I will use this company again.

I have used them for many years. I don’t have any complaints about them at all. They have been very accommodating when I had to change two or three times. They have been very polite and nice about it. They always make sure that I have a favorite guy who comes to my house.

They were somewhat professional, but they acted like I should have known they don't do free estimates, even though their profile says they do.

The original appointment was scheduled for June 28th and the work was done a week earlier, due to a cancellation. James and Sabian arrived shortly after 9 AM. They performed a walk through to count and check the air ducts and returns. They wore booties to protect the floors and carpets. A drop cloth was used to cover the flooring. They were very thorough and showed me the amount of debris collected when they were finished. We were thrilled with how clean our ducts looked. We thought this was a very good deal. The original price for this service would have been $525, so $220 was a Big Deal!

I contacted Favret Heating and Cooling and informed them thaty my house was on the tour of homes the coming weekend. They were able to dispatch one of their representatives that day. Surprisingly, they were able to fix the AC that evening, and in enough time to coole the house for all of my guests. I am impressed with the quality and punctuality of service. I have never had this type of customer serivce from a HVAC company before. Chuck was great!

I have a contract with them where they come out and check my heating, cooling and furnace. All of the workers are excellent and they are always clean. They came really late but they gave us a choice to reschedule but we chose to have them come really late. They are good and that's why I keep a contract with them. Their prices are fair but I don't think it's cheap.

Customer service was polite and responsive when scheduling the appointment. The technician arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem with the condenser unit. He quickly made necessary repairs and offered advice on how to properly maintain the units. He offered to provide a quote to replace the aging condenser units but I appreciated that he offered unbiased advice on the need to replace the units and wasn't aggressive about trying to sell me services. All-in-all it was a very positive experience.

They were really good. I would use them again.

Everything was very smooth. He replaced parts on the air cleaner that were under warranty (no charge), changed the filter, and thoroughly cleaner the air conditioner unit.

I bought my furnace and A/C from Favret over 2 years ago. On this morning, i heard a long bang and the thermostat and furnace went out. I thought it was a breaker, but unable to get it going again. Called them and they were here within 2 hours. The tech checked the obvious stuff first and then moved to the more tedious and unlikely things. Turned out a wire was being rubbed by the fan and eventually had worn through. Repaired and all is well.

It was wonderful. It was impeccable. They were very professional. They did a great job and I have no complaints. We are continuing customers.

Favret Heating & Cooling expressed that they were not interested in doing this small job. Unfortunately, the home supplies stores were also not able to sell us the supplies necessary to do it ourselves. Favret promised to call back & never followed thru.

They had a voicemail that came on and since the job was small it never connected to the company. I was looking at the wrong category.

The visit was routine. Technician came as promised, explained various points about our ancient cooling system, answered my questions, checked temperatures and pressures, inspected the filter, and verified proper system operation.

They were on time. Took old system out for haul away. Installed new system. Technician came out for start-up test. I was very satisfied with the professionalism of the team. System was "high end" and appears to deliver what was promised. All Favret employees I came in contact with during the process have been professional, courteous, and more than willing to assist in any way.

The work went well, and I was satisfied with them. The guys were real nice and friendly. They showed me everything they were doing and walked me through things. They answered any questions I had. They were very courteous when they came in; they put little plastic things over their shoes every time they went in and out. I used the Big Deal offer from Angie?s List; I think their price was good owing to this special offer. I guess they offered 50% off on their actual price; if it was around $400, I probably would not have done it. I would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future if necessary.

We called to have Favret come out to repair our AC unit and set an appointment for Thursday between 12 and 4pm. My wife decided to get a few errands out of the way and so she got back to the house at 12. Since Favret had told us they would be here in that time frame it didn't really concern her that when they didn't show for the first few hours. To make a long story short Favret called ten minutes prior to noon and since they did not get an answer they left a message saying that they needed a call back before they would send a tech out. A second, slightly irritated sounded message came several hours later saying that because we had not returned their call we would have to schedule another appointment. Look I get that we live in a world where there are a great number of flakes and that calling ahead is probably a good precaution when trying to run a business while turning a profit. Having said that, there was zero mention of a confirm call prior to coming that would torpedo the whole deal if it was not answered. I would have preferred them having the forethought and honesty to say something to the effect of "Your appointment will be for tomorrow between noon and 4pm. It is important to note that we will be calling you prior to the appointment to confirm that you are not full of it. After all our time is very important to us." At least then I would have known. In the end its just some wasted time. It is important to note that prior to giving this feedback I did leave a message with the company expressing, in a somewhat toned down manner, my irritation, and asking for a call back regarding the issue. No callback appears to have been made. At this point I would probably avoid them because they just don't seem either very upfront or thoughtful, or reliable. Any way you look at it they don't seem to care about the issue.
