There were some bumps. My very old furnace provided some challenges for the service men, and they were convinced they could not follow through with service. After a phone call or two by me to the home office, an employee with more seniority eventually came to my house, gave them some guidance and they were able to proceed without any issues.

Professional who came out was very helpful in answering questions, leaving a clean workspace, work was timely and we've had no problems. We will use them again. Filters as provided by Favret are quite expensive. The filter for our air conditioner can be purchased at a much lower cost online. The worker said that was no problem if we want to get out own - and we will next time.

The repairman was on time and efficent. He provide good suggests on checking the furnance. We are verly pleased with the work.

We bought our 1937 home this summer from the family who owned it since 1966, and have been inspecting things to make sure it's in working order. After an air duct/furnace cleaning it was clear we needed to bring in the guys who installed this for the previous homeowner in 2010 and go over how it works and if it needed anything now. The humidifier filter looked moldy, which it slightly was but its also covered with a coating that only looks like mold. Jim, our technician, recommended replacing for the mold that was there. Also inspected water line to unit, and electrostatic filter which, it turns out, wasn't actually on ;) ...it's working much better now! That, plus the thorough cleaning from Air Duct Busters, (separate Angie's review) has nearly eliminated dust from our home. Jim was a great help. He's been doing this work for about 30 years and really put us at ease that our furnace/AC is going to serve us well. BTW-- the Carrier furnace was inspected and runs at 98% efficiency, in case anyone is wondering whether to spend the $$ on one. Amazingly low heating bills!

We appreciate that the Favret representative always put covers over their shoes and clean the work area before they leave. We had concerns that the repairs would be much more expensive and require multiple visits but were thrilled that the technician could find and fix the problem in less than an hour without needing to replace expensive parts.

The whole operation went very smooth. We met with their salesperson, Paul Williams who was extremely knowledgeable about the products that the company had available and he made very useful suggestions as to what type of furnace would be best for our residence. Once we had decided to go with the company a quick call got us on the schedule within one week. On the day of the work the crew showed up on time and had the job done in about 5 hours. The crew was very professional and they let us know what they were doing as each step progressed. Once the job was completed the crew did a great job of cleaning up the area and removing all of the old furnace pieces. Once the furnace was operational the company worked with our city building department to have the job inspected and approved. We were very pleased with the service that the Favret Company provided and we definitely recommend them if you are considering heating work.

Went well -- install was clean and had no issues. Machine they helped size is much better than what we have previously. Good communication - never was guessing what was going on or the schedule.

They were pretty easy to set up. They were flexible with scope and gave me a lot of good advice on my HVAC systems. The ducts hasn't been cleaned since I bought the house and I kept being told these were the dirtiest they had ever seen. They did a great job getting the ducts mucked out and returned several action figures that they found. Definitely first in line next time I need some HVAC work.

When Larry first came to check my furnace, he explained the problems with the heat exchanger and exactly what needed to be done. Although the service call cost $122.00, the actual repair was under warranty and cost me nothing. Favret called me when the parts arrived and I set up the actual service date. Larry returned on time this morning, told me what he was going to do, how long it would take, and set to work. He finished one half hour early; I signed for the work; my house is toasty warm. Favret and Larry kept me informed, were prompt, explained everything, and completed the work more quickly than I expected. I am so glad that I bought my furnace from Favret--they and their technicians are outstanding.

I always find the technicians helpful and professional; they are good at trouble-shooting situations in my house. A recent question I had for them was: why is is much hotter upstairs than downstairs, and what can I adjust or change to improve this? The company has done excellent work for me.

I paid him the whole 550. He told me that I needed a special filter. I feel like I wasted my money, I got a refund.

A/C stopped working. I called Favret and they were at my house within an hour. The service tech was awesome. He went above and beyond helping me understand what he was doing and trying to help me save money (checked to see if unit was under warranty for me since I had lost all my paperwork). Unfortunately it wasn't under warranty but he fixed the leak and replaced all the coolant (it was bone dry). I would definitely use them again. My house is cool and we are very happy with their service.

The fan on our A/C unit stopped working after normal business hours. I got through to the answering service and she offered to have someone come out that night. I declined and took the next day option as the house was already cool and I figured it would be fixed before it mattered. The dispatcher called me promptly in the morning to schedule a 4 hour window when the service man would show up. He showed up right in the middle of the block but the kindly dispatcher gave me a heads up when he was on his way. She also gave me a $50 off "coupon" over the phone. This was news to the service man but he honored it all the same. The service man Andre was kind and courteous. He quickly identified the blown capacitor and replaced it. Turns out the last time it was replaced, whatever company that was, used an under-powered version. He tested that the A/C would function, which it did, then spent the next hour cleaning and testing all parts of the A/C system. He even got out my hose and cleared all the debris from inside the A/C unit and the coils. Andre was a great guy and did a super job.

We really like them. They do a really good job.
