Claire was very helpful throughout the process of selecting the materials for the baths, and she made recommendations on what would work well. The two men who completed the work did a great job. They were on time, and kept me well informed with what was going on with the work. Several times they did extra work to fix pre-existing problems. And did a good job cleaning up after their work day was complete.
Description of Work: Remodeled 3 bathrooms, including all new fixtures and cabinets. Repaired drywall damage in one of the baths and installed laminate and vinyl flooring. As well as a new tile, walk-in shower and tile floors in the master bath

 + -1 moreScott and his team did exactly what they said they would do, and a little more. Always there when they promised to be. They were clean, and took measures to protect carpets etc on their path through the house. I had Scott quote on an additional job the last time he was out, and expect that he'll get the business if we decide to have the work done.
Description of Work: Complete remodeling of master bath. Replaced tilework with marble slabs and 3/8'' glass shower enclosure. New countertop. Tile floor. Replaced damaged subfloor.

 + -1 moreOur overall experience with Eagle was very good. We have nothing to compare them with, since we've never contracted to have remodeling done before. The men working were friendly and prompt. They cleaned up when they left and tried to keep dust and dirt to a minimum. They laid down drop clothes and hung plastic to cut down dust. They asked our opinion about where we wanted certain things. We had a pager # to call when we had questions or concerns. Calls returned quickly. Finished job when they said they would. We got the wrong shower heads and faucet upstairs. But Eagle ordered correct ones and replaced them as soon as they could. Charlene Henderson was the rep. that came and did estimate. Was very friendly and helpful. Was prompt at returning our calls when we had a question or problem. Men working were prompt coming and going, cleaned up.
Description of Work: 1st floor bath: Tear our old tub, shower doors, surround, old sink & floor. Replaced with a shower, new sink, floor & fixtures. 1st floor: tear out old tub & tile sink & floor, complete gut of entire room. Put in new tub, sink & floors. Installed a ventilation fan, canned light over tub, new fixtures & light. The shower installed upstairs was wider than the old tub, so the toilet had to be moved which took extra time. This did not change the estimate.

 + -1 moreOverall, this was a great company to work with. I always knew when the workmen were coming, and what they would be doing. They always let me know when they were leaving as well. Clare stopped in everyday to make sure all was going well. I can't find fault with one thing. I would highly recommend them to others and would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Our experience with Eagle Specialty Remodeling was excellent from start to finish. We first met with Clare Love who came to give us a quote on gutting a bathroom and completely refurbishing it. She worked with us throughout the whole project, stopping in often to make sure everything was going well. The two remodelers who did the work are brothers, Jim and Bob. Their craftsmanship is outstanding, not to mention their work ethic: attention to detail, using drop clothes and tidying up after work, checking often as to what we wanted done, and keeping us informed about their schedules. And they could do it all: electrical work, plumbing, drywall, etc. When they needed to do sawing and cutting they were very thoughtful to put down the garage door and work outside to avoid dust in the garage. The whole process took just 6 days. Clare was very flexible as to whether they provided the supplies or if we wanted to get certain things ourselves. Overall, it was a very good experience.

 + 0 moreOUR EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD OVERALL. AS WITH ANY JOB WHERE A LICENSED REMODELER IS UPGRADING (AND CORRECTING) THE PREVIOUS HOMEOWNER'S WEEKEND HANDYMAN JOBS, PROBLEMS ARE BOUND TO SURFACE. SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEMS (ELECTRICAL FAN PLUGGED INTO AN OUTLET HIDDEN UNDER THE TUB) THAT OUR HOME INSPECTION MISSED WERE CORRECTED AND EVEN THE RELOCATION OF THE EXHAUST FAN, COMPLICATED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER'S STUPID KITBASH SOLUTION, WAS DONE WELL AND TO OUR SATISFACTION. GREG AND LEE WERE THE TWO CREW MEMBERS WHO DID MOST OF OUR WORK. THEY WORKED LONG SOLID DAYS TO GET THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND THEY WERE INFORMATIVE THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS. WHILE WE DID RUN INTO SOME ISSUES WITH COMMUNICATION OF THE PROJECT START DATE, THEY WERE WORKABLE AND THE POSITIVE END RESULT OVERSHADOWED ANY NEGATIVES. WE PLAN TO HAVE THEM DO ADDITIONAL WORK BASED UPON OUR EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PROJECT.
Description of Work: WE HAD THE FIRST FLOOR BATHROOM PARTIALLY REDONE. THE TUB/SHOWER WAS CONVERTED TO A SHOWER ONLY; THE EXHAUST FAN WAS UPGRADED; ALL FIXTURES WERE REPLACED; AND NEW BASEBOARDS WERE INSTALLED.

WE DISCUSSED THE PROJECT, AND I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD HAVE A PROPOSAL FOR ME IN ABOUT A WEEK. 1 MONTH LATER, I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANY FOLLOW UP CONTACT OR PROPOSAL. DID THEY THINK THE JOB WAS TO SMALL FOR THEM? IF THEY DID NOT WANT TO DO THE JOB, THEY SHOULD HAVE HAD THE COURTESY TO SAY THEY WERE NOT INTERESTED. I WOULD NOT CONSIDER THEM AGAIN.

SOME DELAYS WERE ENCOUNTERED, BUT CAUSED BY A COUPLE OF LAST MINUTE CHANGES WE ASKED FOR. EVEN WITH THE CHANGES WE REQUESTED, THEY WERE ADDED WITH NO PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS. THEY WERE CONCERNED WITH COMPLETING THE PROJECT THE WAY WE WANTED IT. DURING THE PROJECT, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT SUB-FLOOR UNDER THE OLD SHOWER WAS ROTTED FROM THE SHOWER LEAKING. THIS WAS UNKNOWN TO US OR TO SCOTT DURING HIS VISIT FOR THE ESTIMATE. THE SUB-FLOOR WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED WITHOUT ADDING ADDITIONAL TIME OR COST TO THE PROJECT.
Description of Work: BATHROOM REMODEL - REMOVED A TUB AND SHOWER STALL AND INSTALLED A LARGER SHOWER. MOVED THE WATER CLOSET TO THE OLD SHOWER LOCATION, INSTALLED NEW FLOORING, CONSTRUCTED A CLOSET, MOVED THE EXHAUST FAN, INSTALLED NEW TRIM AND PAINT.

EVENTUALLY, ALL WAS COMPLETED WELL.
Description of Work: WE HAD A 3-SEASON ROOM ADDED OFF OUR FAMILY ROOM. THE WINDOWS IN THE ROOM WERE REPLACED WITH A FRENCH DOOR AND AREAS ON THE WALL FILLED IN WHERE THE OPENINGS FOR THE WINDOWS WAS LARGER THAN THE DOOR. THEY FIRST BUILT A DECK AND PUT THE NEW ROOM ON TOP OF IT. THE ROOM IS MOSTLY ALL WINDOWS WITH A REVERSE GABLE ROOF. THEY ALSO RE-ROOFED OUR WHOLE HOUSE AT THE SAME TIME.

HE TOOK A LOOK AT THE BASEMENT AND SUGGESTED A DIFFERENT PLAN THAT WE LOVED, AND WE WERE VERY ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT HIS COMPANY. WE WERE A BIT CONCERNED THAT HE QUOTED A FLAT RATE OF $35 PER SQUARE FOOT (SOMETHING THAT HAD BEEN CITED AS A ''WARNING SIGN'' BY OTHER CONTRACTORS AND SOURCES OF INFO). WHEN WE TOTALED UP THE JOB, HE ENDED UP ON THE HIGH SIDE OF THE ESTIMATES WE HAD BEEN GETTING, SO WE CONTRACTED WITH ANOTHER COMPANY. HE CALLED TO FOLLOW UP NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE, AND OFFERED TO SHOW US JOBS HE HAD CURRENTLY UNDERWAY. BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER COMPANIES, WE NOW KNOW BETTER AND WILL USE EAGLE FOR OUR FUTURE JOBS, EVEN IF THEY ARE HIGHER THAN AVERAGE.
Description of Work: ESTIMATE FOR FINISHING BASEMENT (SLIGHTLY LESS THAN 600 SQ FT, INCLUDING 1/2 BATH & STAIN-GRADE WOOD TRIM).
