Eagle Specialty Remodeling

I was given an estimate by Scott in April and told the work would start in about 3 months. The work started right on schedule and was completed in a little over 3 week. The estimate was right on. Everyone was so professional to work with. Claire gave me great suggestion for the tile work that I love. I changed a few things and Tim handled the changes promptly, the same day. Each day, John, Myron or Vernon spent time cleaning up. Everyone that comes to see the new work can not believe how great the craftsmanship is. I am so happy with everything! The back porch is in cedar and it is something I wanted for years. The roof line matches the existing roof and the shingles were ordered to match also. The neighbors love it! It turned out so much better than I imagined. I enjoyed working with each and everyone at Eagle and we will recommend them to everyone.

They did a great job. They were very professional. We went with them because they had such great ideas that we hadn't considered and turned out much better than what we had planned. They were able to provide a lot of information. The worker-Mike- was courteous he cleaned up, he was very attentive and would make changes when necessary.

We were very delighted. They were very pleased with the overall service. They did high quality work and took pride in what they did. They were on time and it was done in a timely fashion.

Overall they were good. They were clean and they picked up after themselves when they were done. They were close to the estimate that they gave me. Overall it went good.

Did a great job. Absolutely lovely people. They are a little bit higher. He wrapped the exterior trim on my house. Had it wrapped with an aluminum. They are a high quality contractor.

I was impressed with how quickly they were able to come out to my house and provide a quote. I decided to with another company that I had prior experience with, but I thought Scott was very professional and punctual.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You can't go wrong with them! They completed the job promptly and cleaned up after themselves.

This was our first remodeling experience, so maybe this is normal. The tile guy dropped a tool and chipped the cast iron bathtub. The granite countertop installers chipped the backsplash, and when they came out to fix it, they broke the sink. Eagle handled the problems well, however, their representative did not catch the mistakes (and the laborers did not own up to them). So, it was pretty disappointing to find the damage ourselves. Live and learn, I suppose.

They were fantastic! They presented a plan and helped me in a very professional way. They did meticulous work, and the results were beautiful. They were not only on time but they stayed on schedule. They got the job done in about two weeks. I just can't say enough good things about them! All of the people that they had working were of the highest quality. I won't hesitate to recommend them.

I had five companies come out to go over my ideas and give a bid for the work. From the moment I met Claire Love with Eagle, I knew that they were the ones to beat. Claire was very detailed and gave me some great ideas and a very complete estimate. After choosing Eagle the process went smoothly. We got together numerous times to get all the details together from tile to fixtures to colors and beyond. Throughout the process we added and subtracted things from the contract. This being my first major remodel, I was looking to make it perfect and I admit to making numerous alteration. They never hesitated to go with the flow. Work started on time and the crew was prompt and efficient. As the work progressed we did a little change in tile design and the completion deadline did grow, but the quality was so good we did not mind the extra time. After all we wanted it done right. When the job was completed it turned out better than we had ever imagined.

We had 3 estimates for this job, one being in the $35,000 range. We don't typically hire the lowest or the highest when reviewing bids but this estimate turned out to be the lowest of the three. During the initial visit with Scott, who came up the stairs measuring everything and asking questions that facilitated a great dialog, this company seemed very competent and my mind was made up who would be remodeling our bathroom. Although the work took longer than promised, Greg was meticulous at completing the job with the exception of the tile work (that, too, was done with care). They were always prompt, left the work area tidy, and protected our wood floors in the process. We have been considering a much larger remodeling job and will definitely call Eagle again.

We've used this company before, and have been very impressed with the quality and professionalism of its employees. When issues arose, they were very responsive to our concerns. The entire project only took a month, and we're really happy with the end result.

We were not in a hurry, so we waited for an opening with their workers for several months with no problem. The work was done quickly, in two days, once they called. The worker was very polite and did an excellent job. We were very pleased with the results.

It was nerve-racking because it was a lot of money. But the sales rep and the two workers were friendly and professional. The workers were very skillful. The owner personally came out a couple of times to review progress. The sales rep stayed with the job until it was completed. He was always available for questions and concerns. They also installed the slate flooring. There were only a couple of problems. First, one of the four concrete pillars, which are about three to four feet out of the ground, isn't plumb. Second, the original design had more glass in the three-season room but for whatever reason, couldn't been done on the final design.

Not great. We were excited to work with this company and had hoped to establish a relationship for them to do about 4 projects (maybe $100k worth of work.) We told them this and were hoping they would impress us. We paid a substantial deposit and signed a contract in April. The ordering process was a nightmare. We were sent all over town looking at plumbing equipment and given very little help with design and figuring out how it would all look/fit together. They had told us June for a start date in April due to a backload of projects. They ended up starting the first week of September, the first week of school, which was about the worst possible timing. There were many, many delays, miscommunication between employees in the company etc. I definitely liked the work crew. However, they did not check their work well. We had 2 faucets leaking underneath, a bath/shower unit leaking behind, and no cold water in the shower/tub. They did come back promptly to fix these problems.

Clare was prompt and paid close attention to details, gave me a ballpark figure that surprised me, and said they were backed up 6 months, Then when I got the quote, which was almost 3 times what I expected to pay for what is really only an upgrading, I redoubled my efforts to locate the shower leak and fixed it. Simply can't afford their prices, though I know they do good work.

As with any home remodeling project, we had two bids, conferred with the Angie's List specialists, and plunged ahead with making our screened in porch respectable. Scott impressed us from the start. He came on the day and time he said he would to give us an estimate. His careful questioning and brilliant architectural knowledge led him to make suggestions to us that made our porch even better than we would have thought it could be. It turned the ugly duckling part of the house into the sophisticated and beautiful swan we love. Scott explained all our options carefully and made certain we understood our choices as well as the price. Eagle ordered the materials and when they arrived, they sent Mike to our house to do the creative work. What a guy! He is a gentleman and an artisan. He did much more than tear down old walls and mix cement. Mike made certain all walls and windows fit securely, corrected our poor drainage, and relaid the patio stones so they fit better than before.

Very good work. Their crew was dependable, on time, easy to work with, cleaned up each day. The salesman promised to do some things he later decided he did not want to do. We worked things out, but this was an annoyance. I got the feeling that Eagle would not be fun to work with if there was a problem that was not easy to work out, they displayed sort of a rigid, "my way or the highway" style.

This experience was the best I have had with a remodeler. Eagle was easy to work with. Claire kept on top of the contractors so we didn't have to. When I raised issues, they were addressed rather than giving me excuses or refusing to make corrections. The project came in under budget because the bid was realistic. I would use this company again.

While they started a bit later than planned, and took a bit longer to finish the job than planned, overall they did an excellent job. Everyone was great to work with, especially Claire and Howard, and the workmanship was excellent.

What a great experience! We were very impressed about how professional and helpful they were in every respect. The work was done done efficiently and expertly. We would certainly hire this company again.

Excellent except for communications- at times they were a bit hard to get hold of. I was left wondering when they were going to finish job. Their own workers seemed unsure of what to do as well.

Eagle did an exceptional job. Price quoted was less than half of another company. They worked everyday until it was completed. I was not going to have the fiberglass tub/surround replaced because it was still in good condition. It was damaged during demolition. Eagle replaced it at no charge. Would recommend this company. They stand by their work and reputation.

18'x8' sunroom. They put in nice porcelain floor tile, sliding door, insulation, electrical outlets and lights. Nothing was prefab. They used sub-contractors for the floor, electrical and painting, but their own employees did most of the work. They were all excellent. The project manager, Tom was very cooperative. Always responsive. Wanted to make me happy and he did. Only suggestion would be to make sure project mgr and sales are on the same page. And advice is for home-owner to go over contract w/project mgr. before work begins. We went w/Eagle before zoning appeals and appeal was resolved in our favor. Excellent co. to work with. Whenever I need them, they are out here right away. As for the siding, used quality material I wanted. They used an excellent sub contractor named Mike and managed him like an employee. Overall A 's w/B in price. The job was 24 square and $15,800. Gutters- overall, qualityand price B and A's everywhere else. Good job. Good sub-Mitchell. $1460.

From the moment we contacted Eagle to the completion of project, we had great communication and follow-up. Scott was very knowledgeable about what would work well and ALL promises of time arrivals and dates promised were kept exactly. Scott was out several times during the work time checking on the progress as well as Tim the foreman. The 2 workers, Jim and Bom did excellent work and certainly kept the work area neat and clean. Each day they cleaned up any mess. They were very polite and professional workers.
