About us

Family owned business that we started in 2006. We have one office manager and two full-time technicians. Vans are clearly marked and technicians wear uniforms. All technicians have annual background checks. We are insured, and are compliant with BWC. We charge a flat rate for ours services using a standard pricing and do not charge extra for weekends. We do not charge for travel but do have a service fee to perform our 10 point inspection of $49. We do not extra charge for after hours services. Additional phone #'s: (614) 595-0086. Description of Work: The service was provided, and it was an OK job. I responded to a ""special"" $199 on Angie's List, made the appointment, and when the technician arrived he said the service was actually $384 plus tax. The price was not as advertised. Price was negotiated down to $269.36, which is not what I was told. Interestingly enough, I also called a furnace vent cleaner listed on Angie's list for a $199 vent cleaning service, and the person I spoke to actually told me to do the job right, the price would be $279, and that was the ""best deal in town"" and I'd be sorry if I did not sign up for it. What's the deal, Angie? Have these service providers give the actual price.

Hello [Member Name Removed], Thank you for your business and feedback. We do offer a pre-paid Angie's List special for $199 that includes cleaning for a first floor laundry and our service call. However, you did not buy that special that is offered. In addition, your cleaning would have had some extra cost due to requiring a ladder to get to the cover. In addition, we installed a pest proof cover to prevent birds or other pests from getting into your line. You were charged $178 and no service fee for the cleaning and $78 for a bird resistant cover so you were discounted. Even the pre-paid special does not include a vent cover. We estimate each job when we show up because not all dryer vents are the same. Some vent out the first floor close to the ground, some require a ladder to get to the side of the home, some vent out the roof, and some have bird's nests in them or are plugged up with lint requiring more work. Also, some vents can't be cleaned if they are made of plastic or foil, which is a fire hazard. In those cases we price a replacement based on the length of the line. So any special deal is only for first floor laundries that vent out the side of home close to the ground using proper venting material (4" alumuninum). We find many homes that are unsafe due to the foil and plastic lines that will not contain a fire if lint were to catch fire. We also do other services like de-linting the dryer as well to make the dryer safer and perform better. Thanks again for your business and feedback. Description of Work: Dryer Veny Wizard was scheduled to clean a dryer vent that ran almost 34 feet to the outside of the building and hadn't been cleaned in 8 years. A considerable amount of lint was extracted and the anemometer reading before cleaning was 8.7 and tested 17.3 at the conclusion of the work.

Description of Work: Took out old dryer venting system and replaced with new updated venting material. The appliance company could not hook-up the dryer due to the length needed. Called Dryer Vent Wizard and they were able to come the same day the new washer and dryer arrived. I also bought plan for future vent cleaning.

Thanks for your review. Yes we have been doing more interior delinting of the dryer. This is a newer service we just started doing the past couple years. But we really see some dangerous conditions where the lint is build up inside the dryer [Member Name Removed] looks like it has burn marks on it from the heating element.
