The technician was prompt, professional, friendly and did a great job. It cost more than I expected, but my dryer works great now. He was very thorough in explaining what was needed and why, which made me feel better about the overall cost. He was careful not to track dirt in my house by wearing shoe covers. He was nice to my children, who were very curious about what he was doing.

We were very pleased with Dryer Vent Wizard's work. The only problem had to do with miscommunication between the call center and the local rep. The appointment was scheduled and the rep did not show up. I called to find out what had gone wrong and found that the call center had never told the local office about the appointment. They sent someone out right away and waived the service fee because of the inconvenience. The man who did the estimate and completed the work was very nice, professional and respectful: a positive experience, overall.

It was taking two cycles to dry a load of towels and I had already eliminated my dryer being the problem. I had seen an advertisement in the Angie's List flyer for Dryer Vent Wizard, so I called them. Mr. Francis Coleman came out to give me an estimate. I currently had the expanding foil vent pipe going from my dryer up to the ceiling, turning 90 degrees to the right and then going eight feet to the outside aluminum vent hood. Mr. Coleman got up into the attic space and we could see that the whole vent pipe was the expanding aluminum foil (which is a fire hazard). Mr. Coleman figured up an estimate. It was a little higher than I expected, but I was afraid that I might have a fire, so I approved doing the work. He immediately went out to the truck and brought in the needed equipment and supplies. He put the ductwork in the attic space first, then attached the rest of the tubing to the dryer. He came back the next day to install the correct outside dryer vent hood.

The old vent pipe was a flexible type and the clothes did not dry properly. The technician was prompt, well dressed, fully explained the options and benefits. The pipe and outside venting was replaced. The dryer performs like new.

He was to clean out the dryer vent in a house we purchased a year ago and I don't think the vents had ever been cleaned since it was built in the 1980's. It turned out that the vent was not a straight line right out to the outside but took several 90 degree turns. He and his partner cleaned and cleaned. They pulled so much lint I bet it could have filled a 3 gallon bucket. They had to create an access in the basement ceiling soffett to access the 90 degree turns. Which though unexpected they did a wonderful job and it can be camoflaged with air vent covers. It takes a lot less time to dry clothes. I also purchased a warranty and will get yearly cleanings to prevent this from happening again.

The appliance maker's repairman recommended this company and they did a phenomenal job. Pleasant and honest repairman. Gave a lot of advice on how to maintain efficiency of appliances. Did all work, cleaned up after himself. Very pleasant to work with. I would recommend him to anyone for regular cleanings and any re-routing work.

Mr Coleman was right on time. He examined the area and explained the issue and what his recommendations were. His work was done very quickly, he finished 1/2 hour before he said he would. Cleaned up the area, even the outside. The cost was exactly what he estimated it would be. Very courteous and kind.

We first called on a Monday and were told that they would be out the next day. However, they were over-scheduled the next day and called to reschedule for the following day Wednesday. We were told the appointment time was for 8:30 a.m. but then got a call from the tech at 8:20 that he would be at our home in 45 minutes. Mr. Coleman arrived and started to assess what the problem was. He explained how the plastic fittings were not very safe, that there was a blockage in the dryer duct and quickly went to work. We used our dryer that weekend and things started off well. Clothes were being dried more quickly, however, by the end of the weekend, it was taking 4 to 5 dryer cycles to get the clothes to the point where we could just lay them out to dry. We called DryerVent again, explained the issue and they came out at no additional charge. There was a rather large birds nest in the dryer duct. Mr. Coleman took care of the problem and our dryer has been operating smoothly since.

Rick was wonderful. He arrived on time, looked and acted thoroughly professional, and got right to work. He pointed out where my problems were (the cracks in the existing pipe, the buildup of lint) and detailed exactly what he was going to do to fix it. The work took several hours to complete and worth every penny. My house was unusually dusty and the cracks in the existing pipe were allowing lint to enter the basement, where the furnace fan promptly distributed them around the house. I had also installed a new dryer about one year prior to this work being done and I had noticed that when it was used, the top of the dryer was unusually hot. This is what prompted my call to the company. Since this work was completed, my dryer works more efficiently and my house is much, much less dusty.

Rick did a wonderful job. He was on time and was happy to explain everything he felt needed to be done. After seeing the condition of our venting system in the basement, I agreed that it definitely needed to be replaced. I think his quote was very reasonable and he did a great job. He hauled away all the old venting and was very neat in his work. The next part was to replace the dryer vent into the wall. Our laundry room door hadn't been able to close because the space was too small for a standard metal vent. Rick had to work quite a while in a very small space to get the dryer hooked up. He absolutely went "above and beyond" and we are very grateful for his extra effort. In addition, I think Rick is one of the nicest people I've met and it was a pleasure to have him work in our home. I actually had my dryer vents cleaned about a year ago and that company never mentioned how bad the venting was. I'm glad I found a good, professional company. Thank you, Rick!

They were very punctual and the man doing the work was nice and explained everything very well. He was very clean and did a good job.

Exceptional service from start to finish. I asked Rick to show up ten minutes later than our originally-scheduled time and he appeared precisely at 10 past 1 pm. He performed a complete analysis of what was there versus what I wanted, and he also used gadgets to confirm the air flow and heat flow of the current system. He performed all the necessary cutting and replacing, confirming with me every step of the way what was going to be done, what was being done, and what had been done. He wore booties to keep my floor clean, watched out for my three cats during his work, took care of all waste disposal, and more. Now I have an efficient vent that takes less drying time and electrical energy to dry clothes, and it vents to the outside of my home rather than into my garage.

I became concerned with lint build-up in my dryer vent being a fire hazard, so I went to the appliance store to ask how to tell if I had build up. They recommended Dryer Vent Wizard to check for and clean and/or replace vent if needed. Rick came the day I called and finished everything in about an hour.

On time arrival, very clean. My dryer doesn't take as long to dry clothes as it used to.
