Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Ohio

Dryer Vent Wizard did a great job. They cleaned my dryer vents (not an easy thing to do because of the location of my dryer) and installed new vent hoses. I will use them again.

No fuss, no muss. And greatly improved the performance of my dryer, which had been leaving clothes damp & necessitating a second time to get them dry. I took advantage of a Big Deal special price, but it would have been worth the full price.

Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Ohio were okay.

They were unable to perform service due to set up of machine. Full refund was given.

He inspected the dryer and completed the work from outside the house. The dryer works much better after the work was done.

My dryer vent is very long and has several 90-degree turns. We had never had it cleaned and the entire venting was full of lint.We were experiencing intermittent leaking in our basement from the condensation in the venting. Our dryer also was not drying nearly as well. This company was wonderful. I am sure our visit was a bigger job but the man who came out could not have been more pleasant. They did an amazing job and I'd certainly use them again and would recommend them to others. All our problems have been resolved!

I do not like the pleated pipes. The guy tried to up sell me. It was okay, because it was something that I wanted to do anyways. There was the big deal and then I paid for the extra stuff. I would use them again.

Purchased a Big deal for Dryer Vent Wizard of Central Ohio. They came and cleaned the dryer vent that went outside. I was happy with the service they did.

FIRST REPAIR COMPANY FOR ANY TYPE OF SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD DONE WHERE THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL SERVICE FEE WHEN I HAD THEM STAY AND DO THE JOB ONCE THEY WERE HERE.. Consequently I feel RIPPED OFF with the $49 additional service fee..

Replaced dryer vent hose with new one-good job.

I had purchased a previous dryer vent cleaning that was terrible. This company came in prepared to complete the whole cleaning in one appt. They worked cleanly and put everything back together. My dryer never stops running now unless the cycle is over.

I had a bird get in to my dryer vent system and die, and this proceeded to stink up the vent system, my dryer, and part of my house. I say vent "system" because my laundry room is located in the middle of the first floor of my home and the vent exit itself is located outside at the peak of my house, resulting in a Z-shaped maze of ductwork approx. 40 ft. in total length. I contacted Dryer Vent Wizard to see if they could handle such a problem and within 2 hours their technician, James, arrived. Initially he hooked up their lint-cleaning blower to see if the bird could be blown out, but to no avail, only a tiny bit of lint was blown out (I regularly clean my ductwork myself, so this was no surprise). Next, he used a series of long, flexible brushes to try and clear the ductwork. After quite a bit of effort, James was finally able to dislodge the "foul fowl", and using his blower at the other end he got the bird out. He then brushed the entire length of my ductwork again from both ends to make sure and remove any "residuals" left behind by the bird. Finally, he installed a "bird proof" double-doored vent exit cover to keep future invaders out. I can't say enough good things about Dryer Vent Wizard, and especially their tech, James ! He definitely had to go above and beyond on this job, and it wasn't a pleasant one either.

Bought a package as an Angie's List Deal. They got a lot of lint out. Amazing how much gets stuck. They installed a new cap on the outside of the house, replacing the louvered one the house builder installed. The new one has a flap to keep birds out, and opens wide to allow exhaust out. No sign of buildup since they cleaned it. They disassembled and cleaned the dryer well. Everything was wiped down when they were done. My only complaint, and very minor was that when I spoke with them I told them that my vent was very high on the house, coming out just above the 2nd story. The tech showed up and only had an 18 foot ladder. He had to reschedule for another day and brought a 30 footer with him. I know to specifically remind them of this next time. The tech cleaned the dryer on the 1st trip. He recommended the flap replacement (lint was visibly packing it when viewed from the ground). He also recommended I replace the cheap thin foil flex tube from the dryer to the wall with a rigid tube. I picked up a new tube at a local big box store for quite a bit less than they wanted, but bought and had them install the new flapper. Very nice job, and they'll be coming back soon... I've put this off long enough, and it could keep the house from burning.

This is the second time I've used this company to clean out my dryer vent. The service man was on time and very polite and professional. The first time he came out a couple of years ago, it was from an Angie's List special. Turns out that my dryer vent was not the kind that could be cleaned (it was a foil kind). So instead of cleaning it, he replaced it with a much better vent system. That would have cost a lot more than a cleaning, but he honored the price from the cleaning special anyway, which was great! For the second visit, he was able to do a regular cleaning. He was on time and professional. My dryer vent was definitely in need of cleaning. The dryer definitely drys faster after he does the cleaning. He also cleans around the dryer so it looks better than it did when he arrived. Very satisfied with their service and will have them out again in the future.

We wanted to replace our foil dryer vent with an aluminum one that can be cleaned. We called this company and got scheduled for an installation within a week. The technician was prompt and courteous. He advised that our exterior vent door also needed to be replaced, so we agreed that he should do that replacement as well. The entire procedure took less than an hour. The vent door was $67. The installation was $235. With the Angie's List coupon, the total was $327. He gave us an estimate before he started the work, and he was professional and clear in his explanations throughout.

It went great. James was here around two hours and never stopped working the entire time.

The representative was on time & did a great job explaining how the service improved my dryer air flow. Also he provided a good tip on how often I should have this done. My only complaint was that he did get some dryer lint in my & my neighbor's yard. Other than that- good job.

I called this company and asked if they could install a vent for my dryer. I was given an estimate overthe phone and made an appointment for service the next day. The service person arrived on timeand proceeded to the task.He explained what he had to do and sent overthe quoted cost before proceedint. The installation was completed promptly and professionally. I would use this service again.
