While it may seem pricey, it is labor-intensive and usually in an area that you can't get to to do it yourself. Very much the case in my instance with both the venting, cleaning, and new piping they installed. They did great work and I will use them again.

The technician arrived right on time,maybe even five minutes early. He arrived in a marked van, company jacket, clean and neat, and covered his shoes coming in the front door. He explained what he was going to do, reviewed the service results when finished and suggested a routine maintenance time frame. Just what we love! Show up on time and do what you say you're going to do! No complications, no hidden expense,no heavy sales pitch. Couldn't be happier.

It was fine. The gentleman who came out did a good job, was thorough, and was on time.

Called ahead and arrived right on time. Technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He worked in the hot attic with out a break until the job was done. Resulting vent line looks and works great.

The provider was very helpful and accommodating. The cleaning made a world of difference in the efficiency of our dryer. Clothes were taking a long time to dry before the cleaning. After the cleaning, drying was much faster. I would highly recommend this service and this provider.

The technician assessed the situation and was unable to make the entire run of the duct work a solid vent due to framing and access limitations. So, we ended up just cleaning the two vents and leaving the configuration alone. He did give some effort in trying to find a solution . Eventually, he made a suggestion which would require framing, should we want to pursue another alternative in the future. He did a nice job of cleaning out the vents and the surrounding areas behind each dryer, as well as hooking them back up. He had to make a second visit for one of the dryers, because it was in a built-in cabinet and he couldn't figure out how to hook it back up. After we recalled how it was done, I called him back and he quickly responded and completed the hook-up. I did comment that I felt the end charge was expensive to clean the two vents. To clarify, the cleaning itself did not take long. In our case, most of the time at our home was spent evaluating whether or not we could run a solid vent. With the original coupon (or regular charge) I surmise you are paying for the service call itself, and the specialized service. So it seemed expensive to be charged the same thing for the second one since he was already here and neither clean out was difficult . He did do some nice ductwork to hook-up the first dryer and did not add cost for it, so this is why I rated the price a "B" instead of a "C" or "D."

James from the Dryer Vent Wizard came to our house today. He was supposed to be here at 10am but his schedule freed up and he asked if he could come early. It was very helpful for us. He was very polite, professional and cordial. He explained everything to me, a first-time homeowner, and made it easy to understand. It was very helpful. I compared pricing online and found that these guys were on the higher end. I think that's just what happens when you go with an established company; but I think we got what we paid for. James was really helpful and I feel like we did the right things to make our home as safe as possible.

The technician was later than expected, but he did call to let me know he was running late. Once he arrived, he was thorough, explained things clearly, and completed the job quickly.

It went fine. Likely, I should simply have called Dryer Vent Wizard to drop by to service the hose since they are the ones who installed it a few years ago, but instead I purchased another cleaning, thinking my duct work likely needed the service. I discovered that the hose wasn't secured properly a few years ago, and the duct work didn't have much lint build-up at this time. I felt like I wasted a lot of money.

Went fine. There is not really too much to say. They cleaned the vent to my dryer.

I purchased the service as part of an Angie's List deal. I was able to schedule the service immediately after purchase. Our technician, Francis, called ahead of the service indicating he could arrive early for the scheduled appointment. His call ahead was greatly appreciated and he was very timely. He was very knowledgeable about the services and he provided me with several tips to keep the vent clean in the go forward. He was aware we had just purchased a new dryer and provided best practice tips for new vent hook up. He was very professional and courteous and we would certainly recommend both the services and our interaction with the technician to anyone looking for this type of cleaning. I also like that this company will provide a post card reminder when recommended service is due to be scheduled again. A very good deal and afforded our family peace of mind.

They were upfront with me about how much it would cost to fix. They did an estimate. I would use them again.

One day prior to the call, we received a confirmation call of the appointment. The two servicemen called when they were on the way, letting me know they would be arriving shortly. They went to work directly, and completed the work in a workmanlike manner. They shared with me some other services that they offer, which I didn't take them up on at this time. I feel I can recommend them without reservation.

Excellent work, but too expensive for two hours of work.

Our dryer vent was completely clogged, despite us having it cleaned by the furnace guys the previous year (I don't think they did it). Overall the service was great, and our dryer works like a champ. Only have one complaint and that is the pricing. When I called for a quote I was told between 99 and 199 depending on the venting, etc. So we chose to buy the $153 deal on the site, after being told it would be more than $153. What they don't tell you, and even during the visit, is the extra $49 Service fee. NOT happy about that. So our $153 dollar cleaning ended up being over $200 anyway. If we had been told about the Service charge up front, no problem, but to throw that in in the end is a little shady. Not sure I'll use them again, despite the good work. The ethics are a bit upside down. I do recommend them for the work they do, but beware they won't disclose all charges up front. UPDATE 02/19/14: We pleasantly received an unexpected letter of apology and a refund for the $49 service fee from the owner of Dryer Vent Wizard, The letter included an explanation and a solution for the non-disclosure of the service fee up front. I feel this step is one of good faith and integrity. As I have already said, they do GREAT work. Knowing what I know now I have updated my ratings, and will definitely call them for our next dryer vent service in November.

He was able to clean the vent and quickly determined that the vent was clean and not the problem.

It went alright. They got a lot fuzz out of the dyer vent. I do not remember the cost of the service. It was the first time that we have ever had anything like that done so as far as the price being high or low, I do not know but I was okay with the service. They got a bunch of stuff cleared out and did a good job. I guess that their professionalism was also fine. I would possibly use them again in the future.

Sent email to contact regarding service on Thursday (1/30). Contacted me via phone that afternoon. Scheduled a service call for the following Monday (2/3) morning at 8:30 am. James arrived promptly at 8:25. Which is wonderful because I would rather a service call be early than late. James not only performed an inspection but also explained what he was looking for, what my lint collection and dryer venting was like in comparison to other homes. James also took the time to show me some easy preventative maintenance tasks. The service was completed in an hour. James was clean-cut, courteous, well-mannered, and professional. I wish all my dealings with in-home service companies/calls were as enjoyable, hassle free, and prompt as what Dryer Vent Wizard provided. Do not hesitate to contact this company, you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be using them again. In fact, Dryer Vent Wizard will be contacting me annually to schedule an inspection.

Everything went well. He was punctual and completed the work within a reasonable period of time. The quality of the work was excellent.

The technician went over the estimate he provided and did not push me to buy everything on the estimate. The work was completed in a reasonable amount of time. It did not take forever, but I could tell he took his time to complete the job properly. I was very happy I was able to make an appointment on a Saturday. My dryer heats up much more quickly. I will definitly be calling Dryer Vent Wizard in a year for an annual clean-up.
