Description of Work: I used Dryer Vent for the first time today and was very impressed with their service. James the Technician was very professional and did an awesome job installing a new dryer vent hose for me and new washing machine hoses. I called on Tuesday to set an appt. and they were here by Thursday at a time that fit my schedule. Thank you for a job well done!

Description of Work: I purchased a deal on line for dryer vent cleaning. I was told that my system needed updated which would of cost a additional sum. I could not afford the update. I was told that if I had the job done in the near future the deal sum would be added to the cost of updating the dryer vent system. I could not come up with the additional money so I lost the "deal" money.

Description of Work: Pleasant repair person. Provided options on what could be / should be done. Did NOT try to UP SELL - did suggest cleaning the vent line, but once he measured the air flow stated that it was NOT necessary at this time and that we should just keep an eye on it. Did add better piping in one area that it definately needed. Would recommend and use again if needed.

Description of Work: I had contacted them to install a dryer vent- my house is brick so I knew it would be more complex than a frame structure, however I was quoted an estimate of $275.00 over the phone, which I thought was high but doable. When I asked if this was a fixed price I was told it was not, but was told that I could decline the price. There was no mention of a $49.00 "service fee" for them coming out to the house. The installer came out, on time & was professional- however when he drew up the estimate, it was $600.00- which I felt was extremely excessive for what even the installer agreed was a 3 hour job. He provided a sheet that anyone could have created supposedly showing that this was the "national average" for installing a vent. So I declined & was charged the $49.00 "service charge" that I was not informed of. Other than the brick this was not a complex install- straight up & out - 2 elbows + the exterior vent housing. So beware- they are very expensive ($200.00 per hour including the $49.00 "service fee" which does not come off the bill if you order their services, know that there are no free estimates, and that any estimate over the phone is way off base. Buyer Beware.

Description of Work: The individual was polite, very professional, explained the procedure for cleaning the ducts and did so from the outside and inside. The entire job took about 45 minutes. it was well worth it. Will use them again in a year.

Description of Work: My dryer vent had not been cleaned before. The person came out on time and talked me through what was being done. He explained the speed that the air should be coming out of the vent to prove the any blockage was addressed. He also said I needed to change out my plastic/vinyl exhaust tube form the dryer to the vent because it was a fire hazard. He put on a flexible metal piece.
