Drain Connection

took 6 hours and all went well. They had to tunnel under the sidewalk and take up a layer of grass and replaced the grass layer. Now 2 months later, I cannot even tell that the yard was torn up. Price was very reasonable for the job done.

I called at 8:30 this morning. The technician was at my house by 10:15am. He assessed the sump pump (20 years old) and determined that it needed to be replaced. He also checked a leaky kitchen faucet. That will be replaced at another time. He cleaned up his area and was finished by 11:20am!

We had a problem over the weekend, we noticed that we had a clog in our storm drain so I went on Angie's list, looked through, read their reviews, liked it, called them first thing Monday morning, the phone was answered by the owner, Andrew Kiefner. I told them what I needed. He said no problem, that's the service that they do. We had someone there that morning at 10 o'clock. He sent a young gentleman named Tom, who was wonderful. He took care of it and it was done within 15 minutes. I might get some other work done. I've noticed on Angie's list that he does other things besides fix problems. I would definitely use them again.

The crew at Drain Connection is top notch. I had worries about this underground drain replacement work based on similar work in my neighborhood performed by other providers. Drain Connection's price quote was fair and their plan and approach to the work was better than other provider quotes I had received. They replaced 2 of the 3 segments of underground front-yard drainage which needed replaced based upon the age of my home. They were prompt in arrival and told me what they were going to do and did it without problem. The cleanup was excellent and they reused my existing sod so that I did not have to reseed the yard. 3 weeks after the work was complete, you could not tell the yard had been dug up at all. I would certainly use the Drain Connection again and recommend them to anyone needing drain work.

Andrew and Dan did an excellent job planning out and installing and extensive drainage system for my backyard. The entire system consists of pool waste water inlet thats tied into 4 yard drains, conected to a sumpwell and pump that moves the water to an existing downspout drain. This allows me to move standing water drom the back of my property to the street nearly 300 feet away. So far, after a few heavy rains,everything seems to work as planned. I would highly recomend them to others.

They were $300 cheaper than the other company that I was considering, and they did a very professional job. They were very nice and polite, too. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I was happy with the response I got from the estimate visit to the actual work done. It was a lot faster than another company that I tried to get to do the work. The crew came while I was not home, but the work looks well done. They replaced the dirt and sod from where they dug and I think it looks OK as of now. They even fixed my stones around a tree that had sunk from the water pooling. I feel that the price was fair and I would use them again in the future.

Project went smoothly. They planned to have the work done in 1 day but we had a huge downpour that rained them out. They came back and finished the next day. The crew was very friendly and did a nice job cleaning up the property and replacing the sod. I thought the overall price seemed high, but Andy's quote was very competitive with the others I received.

Andy arrived the same day I called and he fixed the drain quickly and was very professional, he even called and said he could arrive an hour early if that was ok, you bet it was! I will most definitely use them again.

We have had several visits from Drain Connection. A few years ago we had to have them dig up part of our basement due to severe problems and they did such a good job that they are our go-to company for any serious drain issues. I was pleasantly surprised that when I called to schedule an appointment, they remembered us from so long ago (it could be that our mess was unforgettable!!) and even though it was late in the afternoon yesterday, they offered to come out this morning. Talk about service! Tommy was on time, polite and friendly, and he did a great job of explaining to me what he thought had happened, where he thought the clog was, and what it would take to clear it. He warned me that because the copper pipes in our 1961 home are so old and are original, there was a small risk to them by using the snake, so he tried two other methods to clear the problem before he was left with no other option but to use the snake. He had no problem, and efficiently cleared up the drain, and I am back in business. I can?t speak highly enough of Tommy and the Drain Connection. I highly recommend them.

Andy was on time, informative and answered all my questions. Day of job his crew was on time, respectful and did a great job. It was alot of hard work and even the clean up (messy work) was great they left my lawn as they found it. It was a great experience.

Tom arrived on schedule and replaced the sump pump and made sure everything was working properly. He was very professional and courteous. The work area was left spotless. We would use this contractor again.

Called around 8:00am, requesting service for a suddenly sluggish toilet. He said he could have someone there by 10am. Service guy called as he was leaving his last job and arrived promptly. After attempting to clear the drain, he discovered the problem was actually in the toilet. After a lot of effort he was finally able to remove a new bar of soap. This could have easily turned into a very expensive job. I really appreciated the extra effort he made that turned this into a rather inexpensive service call. I'm keeping their number for any future jobs! I would write more accolades, but I am writing this on my phone. Believe me, I had to be quite pleased to bother writing this much!!

When I call the Drain Connection they were able to come out the same day. They gave me a verbal estimate of cost over the phone. They came out the same day and found the problem not to be the drain exclusively but also a piece of the drain stopper was broken. They cleaned out the drain and repaired the stopper for the estimated amount. It didn't take long and I have not had a problem with this drain again.

They first came out and examined property, suggested snaking drain from street as damage on one side of the house was extensive. Found the drains clogged/blocked and found sump pump creating a sink hole. Came back in 2 weeks and replaced all underground drains on left side of house and front of house, replaced ALL connections from downspouts to underground drains and repaired drain in back that we accidentally damaged. Replaced all the dirt and sod from digging out and replacing new drains and filled in sump sink hole. You could hardly tell the yard was dug up. They were quick and efficient. We would recommend them.

We had an issue with our exterior drain going out to the street, for which we received ridiculous quotes to fix. One included even tearing up our drive way. Andrew helped us with a cost-saving and efficient solution to the problem. They came and performed the work as planned and all is well and draining perfectly. We would definitely recommend and use their services again. This was such a nightmare between dishonest contractors who ripped us off and others that just didn't show up. Drain Connection is an awesome company and we are happy we found them on Angie's List!

It went exceptionally well. The plumber was prompt, neat and very capable. The work was done and everything worked perfectly.

Tommy arrived at my house a few minutes early and did a great job, was neat and careful. He put in the new parts and replaced the supply line. He patiently answered all my questions and explained what he was doing and even why he was putting in a new supply iine. He did several test to make sure the toilet was flushing and refilling. He was very professional through the entire installation. I had use Drain Connection previously and they have always done great work and the price is reasonable. By replacing just the worn parts, Drain Connection save me considerable money. This was an added bonus at this time of year. I appreciate their honesty. I highly recommend them.

Andy, the owner, was quick to return my call for service. His tech Tom came out on time and was able to clear clog in my bathtub drain within about 15 minutes. Their flat fee for clearing a clog is $99, which really only feels pricey when it takes no time at all to clear the drain. Tom was very nice, courteous, and professional. He said the reason for the dripping into the kitchen could be that some pipes are not made to hold water, so as long as the water flows freely you'd never see a drip. I haven't seen one since.

Andrew Kiefner responded to our request for help a day after leaving him a voice mail message and came to the house to view the situation the very next day. He was professional and very helpful. As it turned out our job was out of the scope of his services. He recommended another company. We would definately call him again with any gutter work, drain unclogging, septic line repair, etc.

Andy came out promptly and provided a very competitive estimate. He had some great ideas regarding the type of pipe to use, how to rerun one of the lines to improve flow, avoided tearing up the sidewalk, etc. His crew came out to do the work when he said they would. I've never seen a crew work as hard as these guys. The amount of work they accomplished in a short period was impressive. They asked where I wanted the excess dirt and proceeded to place and level it in beds where I requested. They left my lawn looking as good as can be expected. They provided advice on how to care for the sod that they placed back down. The lead installer and I walked down the installation and even tested the sump pump connection to check for leaks. This is a great company with excellent employees. I would highly recommend this company.
