Drain Connection

Unfortunately I don't remember the exact date. ..sometime at the end of 2009. However, I had use this company previously to replace a water heater that was leaking. From the first call to the completion of the service was admirable. So when I had a problem with my garbage disposal leaking all over the place I did not hestitate to call them again. I left a voicemail message explaining the situation......I never received a call back. I was really surprised! Sorry for the delay in giving a report. Life's been throwing me a few curve b****.

Every thing went pretty much according to plan. I had another drain company work on my outside drains last year and this was much better. If you have a drain problem inside or outside call Andrew.

We have used Drain Connection before to clean out drains and repair toilets. We were very pleased. This time, our kitchen faucet began leaking and since it is nearly 20 years old we decided to replace the faucet instead of repair it. We purchased a Delta single pull down faucet at Lowes and then called Drain Connection to schedule an installation - they returned our call next day and scheduled a time in the next several days. Andy came on time and we are certainly glad we did not attempt this job ourselves. Removal of the old faucet was very difficult and installation of the new faucet required cutting some of the countertop that underlay the sink. It turned out to be an extremely difficult job, and took more time than I'm sure they had expected. When done, they declared "we've performed a feat!" and we totally agree.. Andy spent the time to do it right and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Once again we feel happy to have called Applianceman.

They took out all our nearly 100 year old plumbing and replaced it. They were very professional and friendly, enjoyed having them in my home for the day! We now have decent water pressure throughout our home!

One drain had to run through an approximate 25' section of blacktop. Also hit a large boulder while running the other line. It had been awhile (3 years) since the original estimate, but Andrew honored it. The crew did a great job, including the clean up and even placed the boulder for me. Highly recommended.

They did a fine job. They carefully removed the top layer of grass where they were going to put the pipe. They then replaced that grass afterwards. They told me to just water it, and it grew back fine. It only took two guys one day to do the job. The guy has the truck set up so well, that he everything he needs on the truck. They didn't push a higher priced product, they just used what they needed to get the job done. I got a bigger pipe put in than what was originally there.

Completed work as expected. The leak under the kitchen sink was in a hard to reach crawl space. No complaints from the worker to get to the leak and make the repairs. In all, took about 90 minutes to diagnose problem, get parts and make repair. Very prompt and courteous. Would use them again.

They were efficient, friendly, helpful, punctual and co operative. They were great. They came when they said they would come. They made appointments and kept them. They were really good. Generally, they don?t have any problems. However, if they do have a problem, the owner backs them up on everything and straightens things out. We have never been unhappy with them. We have enjoyed the service they have provided. It has always been top notch.

They were fantastic and were able to find the problem and fix it. I highly recommend them.

From the start he understood exactly what needed to be done. The other quotes we got were not quite up to par for the size of the project that we had on our hands. He gave me the sense that he was comfortable with this size of a job and had experience with something this size. I was very comfortable with his experience and felt like he could handle this size of lot. I have already referred them to a couple of my friends.

Drain Connection is all A's. They are punctual and reasonably priced. I have always have good luck with the quality of their work.

Full bathroom sink draining very slowly and tub and half-bath sink somewhat slow in draining. Also had toilet in full bath that required "jiggling" of handle to stop water flow. Called in pm and left message to call us when possible (described as non-emergency situation). Company returned the call by 10 am the next morning and sent Darrian arrived at 11:30 the same day. All work and repairs completed (including two runs to Lowes to secure the correct handle assembly for toilet repair) timely, excellent clean up. The sink and tub drains were last cleaned out in eleven years ago. Ours is a 1946 built home with original plumbing.

I thought it went very well. They were punctual and did a good job.

Arrived on time, hand dug the new trench, replaced the tile and left the lawn in good shape. Completed the job in approximately 5 hrs. Dave and his partner are very good and friendly. This was the follow up work from the service call of June 30th with Darin.Will use them again for future work.

The estimator came the day after I called. After the estimate, the work was scheduled the next week. The company showed up 8:00 am on the day they were scheduled, and completed the work in about 4 hours. They left the landscaping in good shape and took the drain under the sidewalk without any damage. We were very happy with how the job was done.

Andrew call me on a Sunday night of a holiday weekend to schedule a 8AM app. on Monday. Darin called at 8:05 to say that he was stuck in traffic but would be there shortly. Darin was personable, and provided excellent service.

When it got to be 11:20 and I had received no phone call, I began to be irritated. I'd NEVER had a service company this late without notice. More time elapsed and I decided that by noon I was out of here as I had delayed many errands to be available for this service. Heading toward the door at 12 I received a call from the Drain Connection tech. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt if perhaps there had been a mistake and he was not told to come at 11 but another time. He just proceeded to tell me he was on his way. Explanation: "This other job took longer, I knew your appointment was at 11, I knew I'd be late, I knew I should call you but I kinda forgot about it as I was busy with this job." I told him I'd have to think about whether or not I want to use their services. He cheerfully said that was fine. I then reported this to the Drain Connection office. Her response was passive as well, that she perfectly understood why I was unhappy and would talk to the tech about making the appropriate phone calls. Nobody seemed to care much about the lost business or my inconvenience. I decided that if a Drain Connection employee knowingly acts in a very inconsiderate manner and the office does nothing to make it up to the customer, I'd take my business elsewhere.

Called Andrew on 6-29-09 and left message. He returned the call that day and scheduled the work to be performed on 6-30-09 at noon. Darin was here at noon. I assisted Darin where I could to save him steps and time.Follow up report forthcoming.

I called yesterday afternoon and they were able to schedule me for this morning, which was great!! I needed two toilets worked on, both leaking from a variety of places. I did not get an estimate prior to having the work done. The fellow was very pleasant and professional and did a good job with the repairs (so far at least they aren't leaking!!). I also had a leaky shower faucet which will require pieces to be ordered from Delta, but he instructed me on how to deal with it. I felt the price was fair for the amount and quality of work he completed and he was a very nice person.

I always have excellent service with this company and strongly recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. They have worked around my schedules, they call if they are running late from a previous job, and we have never had to call them back on a job that they have done.

The crew who performed the job were here promptly at 8 AM and completed the job by noon. They were respectful of the neighbors property. They removed the sod, dug up the old drainage pipes, installed new and replaced the soil and sod. Looks almost like the lawn was never dug up! The only negative was the crew failed to remove the temporary fixes necessitating a phone call though they returned first thing the next morning and took care of it. I would recommend them for excavating work.

They are very good. Andy has even showed us ways to clean our pipes. He has been very helpful and professional. We would highly recommend him.

Went well; professional from estimate to job completion. Final price same as estimate. Would use their services in future.

Overall it was good. He was quick and on time. One note, when he first came in and saw the leaking water, he said really quickly that the whole thing needed to be replaced. I said, I didn't think that was necessary but could he please just replace the relief valve. In the end, he said "you were right, it was just the relief valve." I'm glad I didn't go with his initial recommendation.
