Description of Work: I called for an estimate to replace a lawn drain from the house to the curb.

Description of Work: I had noticed that when my sump pump started that water was being pushed up from the gutter down spouts which are connected to the underground drainage system to the street. Indicating that the underground drainage pipe to the street was blocked. Drain Connection came out the same day I called and attempted to rod out the underground pipe. However, their equipment could not get thru the blockage. The technican, Tommy, walked to the area it was blocked and observed that the ground was saturated at that location. This resulted in digging up the area, locating the drainage pipe, which had broken at both ends. A large root was under the pipe which is believed to have broken the pipe. A 7 foot section of pipe was replaced and the underground pipe was then rodded "snaked" out. There have been no problems since.

Description of Work: Stopped a leak that was caused by a cracked old pipe above ceiling. Cleaned out downspout drains and basement drain. Installed vanity faucet set and fixed leak behind vanity.

Description of Work: Fixed a cracked pipe leading out from the sump pump... and noticed a sound coming from the gutter and then snaked from the street back to the gutter cleaning a bunch of stuff out which helped our gutters and sump drain better. Even recommended a simple cheap fix for something else that we can do later.

Description of Work: Our two year old sump pump would not shut off. Andrew cleaned out the loose gravel in the bottom of the pit which was keeping the float switch from shutting the pump off. The original installer of the pump (another company) had not done this. Andrew also resealed the pit cover adding new fasteners and caulking. He cleaned everything up. This was done on a Saturday (company normally doesn't work on Saturday) and at no extra charge.

They brought a sump pump to the house and installed. it. The young man that came to the house was extremely pleasant and explained the work and got the job done. Today, I heard water running and checked the sump pump. The old pipe had come loose from the sump pump and water was spraying around the hole and the floor. I called the company and talked to Andrew. He was backed up with jobs but said he would work me in as soon as they could. I called him back a second time to ask if the sump pump would burn up if if kept running. He was in the middle of a job but patiently told me "yes it would" and I could unplug it. He came later, checked the problem and said that they would take care of me. He said that the old flexible pipe should be replaced and I said OK. Because the young man did not do this on the earlier visit, Andrew did not charge me a service call fee. I just paid for material and labor. I was surprised and very pleased with the price and with the work. Andrew and his helper cleaned everything up when they were done and put my basement back together. They were just great and extremely professional in spite of the extra work.
