Drain Connection

The repairman arrived at the appointed time, examined the problem with the outside drain connection, and determined what parts he needed to get. He returned within a short time and re-fashioned the connection. He was efficient and courteous and we will use this company again.

Great! Done in 1/2 day. Did a neat and tidy job of excavation despite difficult conditions (heavy ivy ground cover), and replaced sod in lawn. Very pleased.

He was incredibly responsive and priced very well. His price was the best I dealt with. I thought that they gave a very positive response. He did what he said he would do. I had told him over the phone that I was in a hurry to get the work done since we were trying to rent the place that was having the problem, and he was able to fit me in on the fly to get it done. I was very happy with him and he would be my drain guy in the future.

It turned out the drain pipes were connected to the curtain drain instead of going out to the street and all was well with the system after the connected things properly. They were the only waterproofing company that was concerned about our yard drainage, which I thought was good. It took over two weeks to get a quote in the mail from them. Since the work they suggested wasn't as thorough as other waterproofing companies, we decided not to hire them.

From the time I contacted the company to when the job was done, I was more than satisfied with this company's work performance. Was more than punctual - actually arrived earlier than the scheduled appointment. Was very professional; was good at explaining things I had questions about.

They did an excellent job and my yard recovered in approximately two weeks. You can hardly tell it was ever dug up! I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The problem that led to the drain replacements came to our attention because of a wet basement. After talking with a basement waterproofer and a gutter company, we determined that the problem was that three of our downspout drains were not functioning. Andy provided us with a bid and a start date. Although the bid was slightly more than another one we had received, his plan for the work was far more comprehensive and well thought out than the first. The work was done on time, professionally, and with courtesy. When I came home from work on the day the work had been completed, I didn't even notice the "scars" in the lawn because they had done such a great job removing and replacing the sod over the drain. We've had no further water problem. We would definitely use this company again and would recommend them to our friends.

From beginning to end they did exactly what they said they would do. They arrived on time and worked continuously. The workers were pleasant and new exactly what to do to get the job done. The price was exactly what was estimated and I think was quite reasonable. When they ran into some difficult spots they just kept going with a smile. I'd invite them to my back yard BBQ. After spending several hours trying to clear the drain, we gave up and called for help. I was able to arrange service the next day. The technician showed up at the appointed time and cleared the pipe very quickly. He pointed out that part of the problem was that the sidewalk had settled and flattened the pipe. We have had several heavy rains since then,water now runs freely.

I called Drain Connection as they had taken care of this problem before. They came out promptly and cleared the downspout clear out to the street with a snake. They are always prompt, professional and reasonably priced. I use them for all my plumbing needs.

Went exactly as explained / expected.

It went great! I had paid $1,200 to a prior company two years before. The prior company used inferior pipe (flexible plastic) which failed. Drain Connection replaced with extremely strong PVC. They ran new lines under the sidewalk to replace the rubber lines the township had used when I had the sidewalks replaced and drilled new outlets in the curb. It is a completely new system from the professional caps around the downspouts to the new outlets in the street. The only thing that would make me happier is if I had found them before using that "other" company.

In mid-May I called Drain Connection to get an estimate to replace the drain. The appointment was promptly scheduled and I was given an estimate much lower than other estimates. I was told at the time that they were running about three weeks behind and, depending on the weather, it would be well into June before the work could be done. The last part of May was wet, as was early June. On June 17--about one month after the estimate was provided--they called to schedule for the following week. The installation crew showed up as scheduled and performed the job quickly and efficiently with everything done as specified in the estimate. Dave and his partner did an excellent job of installation given that we had about 2 inches of rain over the prececing 6 days. The next time I have a drain issue, I will contact Drain Connection.

They were actually referred to me by a waterproofing company. Andy was very personabl, and diagnosed the problem as a broken pipe. They scheduled the work within a week, and completed it in 1 day. Have not had a problem since. Would definitely use them again.

Tom was very knowledgeable. He came out at 8am to begin work right away. He was prompt and courteous. He found that the main problem was a broken pipe because a spicket had frozen during the winter. They were very fair on their pricing.

Andy, the owner, was very prompt and personable when I spoke with him on the phone and when he arrived for the estimate. He clearly stated that, depending on the size of the the job, he may not be able to schedule the work for several weeks out. After he gave us the estimate he said that it was a small enough job (just a few hours) that he would be able to fit us in fairly soon but no guarantees. This was on a Wednesday and we recv'd a call Friday letting us know a crew would arrive the next Wednesday morning. The crew was punctual, polite and professional. We do not hesitate in recommending this Drain Connection.

Prompt, courteous, efficient. Charged $100 for first drain and $50 for second two. (Many places will charge $100 for each drain.) I've used them before and will use them again.

These guys are good. We've used them several times for various plumbing needs (new outdoor faucet, replacing old pipes, clearing drains) and they've delivered excellent results each time. The latest call was for a toilet that wasn't flushing properly. Jim was here on time and diagnosed the problem as a clogged jet. He did a muriatic acid soak and was really careful to make sure the kids were not going to go anywhere near that bathroom until it was complete. Needless to say, the acid soak worked like a charm and we're flushing better than ever. Jim also looked at some other concerns and made sure I knew that there wasn't any real issues there and didn't try to upsell me on services. Overall, another great experience with the Drain Connection. Will definitely use again.

Andy and his team was great! They came out quickly after I called to get an estimate and gave a written estimate within a day or so. There was lag time between the original estimate and the actual doing of the work because of the constant rain that our area was getting. They kept me posted, though, on when they hoped to start the job and even delayed the job by 1 day when I asked them to do it because of the forecast. They installed the sump pump one day and did all the outside work the next. For installing the sump pump, Dave prepped the area by laying heavy canvas down from the basement door to the front door to protect my floors and rugs. He explained everything he was going to do and worked very hard and for quite a few hours. He had to jackhammer the cement in the basement and hand carry up buckets of clay soil and cement out of the sump pump hole in order to place the sump pump. He smartly used this extra soil/rock to help fill in at the side of the house in the lowest areas. He worked long, hard, and thoroughly. He did cement work in the basement around the newly installed sump pump and did a good clean up. We were out of town during the outside work but they did a great job and were respectful of the neighbor's need to have access to his driveway. Since the installation, for the first time in years, we have NO WATER in our basement at all!!! They did a marvelous job in a timely way, for a reasonable price and we would highly recommend them to anyone with drainage problems. THEY ROCK!!!

From the beginning Andy and his team were very courteous and responsive. I had an immediate problem with my sump pump not able to drain out to the street because my drainage pipe was clogged. They installed a temporary drainage pipe that pushed the water out to the back yard and within a couple days they tried to sneak the underground drain pipe. They were unable to do so due to damage to the pipe so they replaced it as soon as the rain stopped. They did very minimal damage to the soil and the grass almost looked untouched...I don't know how they did it but even my neighbor was impressed. My sump pump was still not functioning right, it was making loud gurgling sounds and it was continuously running. They were able to replace the check valve which saved me $200 on not having to replace the entire sump pump. Now everything works great. Throughout this process they had to make several trips to the house, gave me options and helped me making decisions of what to do next. They did an outstanding job! I will definitely use them again in the future!
