CPR Drain Cleaning

It went very well., from start to finish. CPR provided the lowest of 9 estimates, yet was prompt, efficient and responsive. They also did the best job of any of the other contractors on our street. This is how we like to see a business operate. We recommend them highly.

This is my 3rd time that I use this company. I am a landlord and also flipped houses. They are very professional. The price is not outrageous like other companies. The house sat emptied for 3 years so, it has black sludge in the kitchen pipe. The wall has to be cut so, they can snake the drain.

We had about 4 other plumbers come in a bid the job. CPR was 30% less than everone else. Once we signed the contract. CPR took care of everything from permiting to hiring traffic control to pin pointed the area of the broken drain tile (which really helped reduced cost). They were very nice to deal with this issue. They explained all the costs. I would highly recommend

I called 9 am Sunday. Alex and Michael called later to let me know they were on the way. They arrived shortly after noon. The work seemed thorough, and only took about 1/2 hour. They made very little mess, and cleaned up after themselves quite well. The work is guaranteed for 30 days, under normal use.

Perfect and they were 25% LESS than best bid from 3 other companies. Great co. to deal with and everyone from office to field employees had OUTSTANDING attitudes!

The guys who came out are really personable and easy to work with.

The guys showed up on time. They were professional and very accommodating, even when the cable line broke.

Sewage line was cleaned out several times in the hour they were here. Machine holds 130 feet of cable and since most homes are only 80-100 feet away from the sewage line this is more than adequate to do the job. It took another 30 - 40 minutes to remove the trap and clear out the hair clogging it from the bathroom sink. This was due to the small amount of space between the pedestal sink and the wall. I realized after he left that the sink now dripped water onto the floor. He came back and determined the flange was old and now broken. He tried to repair it with plumber's putty as he didn't have the part on his truck but it did not work. He inquired if I'd like to have someone else come out and I said I did. So he made inquiries with the dispatcher and said the earliest someone could come out was Monday. That was okay with me. And on Monday the flange was replaced. Everything works well now!

They were very good. I really did like them. Another company whom I use for my heating and cooling or plumbing, etc., had issues and so they suggested CPR, and yes I would highly recommend them. I had to have them come out twice, because they thought they had fixed it but we were still having a problem and they came back out again. Their price was a fair price. They were not outrageous or anything, it was very fair for the work that they did. They were very honest. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them. I would definitely use them again.

I just recently purchased a home where the sewer line backed up in my basement. I was a less and desireable siuation. Lukily, my home warranty covered the costs. Owen and his co-worker were excellent. They were in and out in no time and put me at ease. Thanks for a job well done!

It went very well. They surprised me with they prompt response. They worked quickly and efficiently. I liked that they made sure the drain was draining properly.

This was a warranty repair from ABC Home Warranties, and I did not have the option to review them before they came, leaving me somewhat apprehensive. The two guys showed up about 5-10 minutes late, which I am not complaining about. However, I felt like I might have to Febreeze my entrance way because of their smell of smoke. That eventually faded away. They came in, went straight to the pipe, and got to work. It probably took them 30-40 minutes to get the drain cleaned out with their HUGE machine that they had to drag through my house, even with booties on the wheels to prevent scraping and/or leaving of dirt/tracks. The seemed to be very careful and thorough with the process. They explained to me that I did a great job of getting the beginning of it cleaned out and that if my snake was only about 5-10 feet longer, I would have cleared it myself. They explained where the issue was, and what was causing it. Afterwards, they thanked me for my business, one guy used my restroom, and they left. Overall, I felt it was good, quick, timely work. I would definitely consider giving these guys a call the next time I need work done.

Their estimate was about midway from the 3 I got. I was a little concerned at the difference (about 1/2 of the first estimate) because it was so much less than the first company. But they were responsive to my request for an estimate and returned my call on two occasions when I had additional questions. They adapted the estimate to address my concerns. The work was performed when they said it would be and they completed the job on time. They were considerate and conscientious of my property and took great care to cause the smallest disturbance to my property. They cleaned up completely and hauled all the debris away from the small tree and shrubs that had to be removed that caused part of the problem with their roots. Over the years I have used several companies that cleaned drains and I thought they were mostly over charging. (One company always seemed to just have their $350 pressure drain line cleaner with them when it should have been less that $100 to run a snake and gave me an estimate that was twice what I paid for the job with CPR to do this major line replacement of a line). These guys, CPR, are now the permanent go to guys for any future issues that have any thing to do with drains, septic lines or if any thing needs to dug up and repaired. Frankly I am very pleasantly surprised and impressed with the way they handled the job, from the supervisor down to the crew that came out to do the work. And, I am happy that I found these guys!

I called them in the morning on a Saturday and the earliest appointment they could schedule was Monday but they said they would check on whether one of their trucks could fit us in same day. I was not expecting to get in that day but received a call soon thereafter and they were able to fit us in early afternoon. Two men arrived -- were very professional and cleared the drain and cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. We have had several companies do this type of drain clearing over the years but none has ever cleaned up. They had cleared other drains in the area so were familiar with the challenges of the sewer line in homes of the age of ours. We now have an arrangement with them where they will call annually to remind us to have the drain cleared so that it doesn't ever get completely blocked again. They are experienced and professional and we will definitely use them again.

They did a good job. I have even used them at my mom's house. He was courteous and helpful. He worked hard and got the job done.

I would highly recommend this company. To explain why, I have to begin by describing an experience we had with one of CPR's competitors---Drain Works. We had water backing up onto our laundry room floor due to a clogged drain line that runs from under our basement floor out to the city's main sewer line in front of our home. We called Drain Works based on its Angie's List A rating. The first thing the serviceman did upon arrival was wheel his heavy rotor rooter machine downstairs over our carpeted steps without putting down a drop cloth or any other sort of protection. He left dirt and grease stains on our carpeting. He then attempted to clear the line for about 45 minutes and could not do so. He proceeded to run a camera through the line (for an additional charge). Based on this process, he told us that our drainage line had collapsed in the area where the line exits our basement---i.e., under the foundation of our home in the front yard. The Drain Works serviceman said that and quot;you are out of time,and quot; and that we would need to address the situation immediately by having the line repaired or replaced. He gave us the name of an excavation contractor and suggested that we call the contractor as soon as possible. The Drain Works repairman even marked the spot of the purported collapse by spray painting that area of our yard. The excavating contractor recommended by Drain Works was not very helpful and couldn't commit to a time frame when it could do the excavation/repair work. As a result, my wife and I spent a substantial amount of time (I missed a day of work) and effort attempting to find other excavating/sewer line repair contractors that would be available to do the work promptly. We found a contractor and had even gone so far as to call the state's and quot;Call Before You Digand quot; line. However, before we proceeded with the excavation work, a friend and neighbor who works in the construction industry called one of his contacts in the industry. He suggested that we try another drain cleaning contractor - CPR Drain Cleaning - before undertaking the expense of a major sewer line repair (our lowest estimate for the excavation work was $3,500, which did not include the extensive landscape repair services that would have been necessary after the excavation work was completed). CPR arrived the very next day (on a Saturday morning) with two servicemen and a more heavy-duty rotor rooter machine. They covered the wheels on their equipment so as not to soil or stain our carpeting and, in less than an hour, cleared our drain line completely. CPR obviously had better machinery and more skilled and experienced servicemen than Drain Works. CPR charged us $175 for their work---$100 less than Drain Works. The bottom line is that Drain Works stained our carpeting, didn't clear our drain line, and recommended that we incur a very expensive and unnecessary excavating/repair expense for a drain line that in fact was not damaged. CPR bailed us out by arriving promptly and solving our problem with their excellent work. Their repairmen were friendly and knowledgeable and spared us a very expensive and unnecessary excavating/repair expense. We will definitely be using CPR in the future and would highly recommend their services to anyone who requires drain cleaning.

This plumber was sent to our home to inspect and eventually replace our sump pump at the request of ABC Warranty, which holds the warranty on our home. They arrived when they said they would, completed the work quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. We also asked for a quote on a battery back up, and the owner responded promptly with that information.

Most of what I have said is above. These 4 gentlemen were exceptional, extremely professional and did a wonderful job. I would not hesitate to use members of the CPR company. These are fantastic people who believe in doing things right the first time.

I own a five unit building. Tenants called that the sewer was backed up on all the units. I looked up the company on Angie's list and read the review/price. Called them. Within 45 minutes, they were at the site and met with the tenants. Took care of the problem in less than 1 hour. They called me and to report about the repair and charges. It was $135. Was very happy. I had called other company 2 years ago and they charged me $350 on the same problem. Will use this company again.

The company examined the sewer thoroughly with a special camera and discovered a broken segment that was causing problems.. They offered an excellent repair price (a fifth of Roto-Router's). They came on time, they are very professional and did their job carefully. After the work completion they reinspected the whole pipe and showed us the recording. It was overall a very good experience.

They were very good and did a nice job. They were reasonably priced and cleaned the place themselves. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

This was my second company, after spending a week with another company I was given CRP Drains name and number from the other company. I called them and they had a team come out that day and stay until the job was done. They gave me a time, called in advance of coming and were there when they said they would be. It was a good experience from start to finish.

I contacted my home warranty company when sewage began backing up in my basement. They called CPR and asked them to come out and address the issue. Mark and Owen arrived in good time (considering they had to fight rush hour traffic) and went straight to work. While I was hoping that the issue would be covered under my home warranty it turned out that because the blockage was due to roots I would have to pay out of pocket. That being said I think their prices were very fair especially given the fact that it took longer than any of us expected to get the main line cleared. They were polite and professional and answered all of my questions even the general plumbing questions that were not related to the issue at hand. While flushing the line they noticed the drain in the bathtub was slow and they had it unclogged in a matter of minutes. I will definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
