Continental Blinds

The work was quality from start to finish. I've worked with David before (he's cleaned my windows and blinds for years), and he continues to be wonderful to work with. I trust everything he does and would recommend him highly to anyone. His prices, though seemingly high, are well worth it for the quality and service he provides.

I was very pleased with the work and with Dave's friendliness and professionalism. He came right on time and went right to work. It was so nice to have all my windows clean and shining at one time.

Excellent. I dropped off the blind. He determined that he needed a part from the manufacturer and ordered it. He called when it was done, and even called again to let me know he was going to be leaving his shop for a while, so I didn't stop by during that time. Very nice. Blind works perfectly.

I needed a new headrail which was ordered -- repairs and replacement completed as scheduled.

David returned my call quickly and came over to give an estimate. He said that he would be at our home at 7:30 am and was there right on time. My husband and I are very happy with David and his work. The house is so much brighter as a result of how clean the windows are.

Very prompt, very quiet, and very efficient. He cleans without waking my napping granddaughter.

I called and left a message, and my call was returned almost immediately. I dropped off the blind one afternoon and picked it up the next morning. A new blind of this type would have cost over $100.00. We've used them and will again.

I have had them wash my windows 1-2 times a year for at least the past five years. They show up on time and do a great job. I didn't notice them on Angie's List until now. I wish every company was as easy to work with!

Very personal yet professional experience. I wish that I had known this service was available earlier. I would have taken the blind in for repair years ago. The results are well worth the cost even without the 10% Angie's List discount.

He quoted a fair price and stuck with it. He was done in 45 minutes. He did a fine job. He came out the same weekend that we called.

They were timely and punctual. I called several companies and they came out being the best price wise. A month after the blinds were cleaned they came to make a blind more secure.

Dave is very prompt, courteous and fair. He gave me good advice. I called him and he was here within an hour.

Mr. Morrison was on time, very polite, good work but extremely pricey. I was charged $100.00 for 20 minutes' work.

Didn't get any other estimates because this business had great ratings on the list. So I don't know if the price I paid is good or not. The owner, Mr. Morrison is very quiet & comes across as kind of absent minded. He made several mistakes with our order. First, he underestimated the cost by more than $300 by not accounting for room darkening blinds on 3 units. Second, he came out to measure before the new windows went in & didn't think to account for the trim around the new windows (I would think someone who does this for a living would think ahead about such things). I then had to ask him not to charge me to get the blinds cut down to size. Then when they went up, we found out that we had room darkening blinds for 5 units & not 3. We had to take his word for it that we weren't charged because we never saw a detailed bill. Fortunately, the blinds (Hunter-Douglas) are high quality & we've had no problems with them.

I was a little disappointed, given the high marks that Continental Blinds received on Angie's List in the past. Although David was very nice, he left the installed blinds with exposed hardware. Only after I asked him about it did he then order and install some covers for that hardware (which I believe cost me an extra $300). Additionally, I wish he would have discussed with me more thoroughly the pros and cons of going with a smaller size blind. If I had known that the hardware on the 2'' blinds that I ordered on his recommendation would stick out so much, I would have considered another size.

David was very easy to work with. We both had busy schedules but he was very accommodating with the drop off and pick up times of my blinds. He had the work done within 24 hours.

DAVID WAS PUNCTUAL AND THE BLINDS WERE CLEANED MUCH BETTER THAN I COULD EVER HAVE DONE THEM MYSELF. THE BLINDS IN THE FLORIDA ROOM WERE VERY DIRTY, AND GREASY. HOWEVER,I DID FEEL IT WAS TOO PRICEY. I WILL CLEAN THE WINDOWS MYSELF NEXT TIME, BUT WILL HAVE THEM CLEAN THE FLORIDA ROOM BLINDS.

DAVE WAS VERY RESPONSIVE EVEN THOUGH I ONLY NEEDED TO ORDER ONE NEW BLIND. HE MADE THE APPOINTMENT TO FIT MY SCHEDULE FOR MEASURING THE NEW BLIND AND CLEANING MY EXISTING BLINDS. HE TOOK DOWN ALL OF THE BLINDS AND TOOK THEM TO HIS SHOP TO CLEAN THEM. HE HAD THEM BACK AND HUNG WITHIN A FEW HOURS IN TIME FOR MY PARTY. THE NEW BLIND ONLY TOOK JUST OVER A WEEK TO COME IN. HE HAD IT HUNG IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES. I WILL USE HIM AGAIN.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WAS PAIN-FREE(SHORT OF THE PRICE), BUT IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. DAVID MORRISON CAME TO MY HOME AND MEASURED MY WINDOWS FOR WOOD BLINDS. HE COULD SEE I REALLY WANTED THEM, BUT I WAS CONCERNED WITH THE COST. HE GAVE ME 10% OFF. I HAD TO TAKE OFF WORK FOR THE ESTIMATE. DAVID TOLD ME HE WOULD SCHEDULE THE INSTALLATION EITHER IN THE EVENING OR ON A SATURDAY SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO LOSE MORE TIME AT WORK. THE BLINDS ARRIVED IN 7 DAYS AS HE PROMISED. I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY BLINDS.

I ASKED THEM TO COME BACK AND LOOK INTO SOMETHING, AND THEY HAVE NEVER GOTTEN BACK TO ME.

I HAD REALLY GOOD SUCCESS WITH THEM. I GOT THE ANGIE'S LIST DISCOUNT.

THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY AND VERY WELL. ONE MISTAKE WAS MADE AND IT WAS CORRECTED QUICKLY. THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND EASY TO WORK WITH.
