Continental Blinds

They are great. I had no issues with them. I had a little problem with a part, he ordered it, came out and fixed it; it was the end of it, no drama, it was just fine. I will continue to use this provider again in the future.

The installation went very smoothly. I thought they really went above and beyond, and I would highly recommend them.

They did what they claimed they were going to do. They did an efficient job. The blinds were clean and we had no complaints.

I happened on their 5th Avenue office by chance, and walked in with no appointment to a very lovely office with a friendly, helpful staff person. She took my order to have my blinds picked up, cleaned and rehung and scheduled it for the following week. They sent a confirmation email and David, the owner (with his wife) came and took down all the blinds and returned them that afternoon. Although it was a little bit pricey, I think they did a great job and were very nice and professional every step of the way. I wish every service provider was so easy to deal with, prompt and efficient. I would recommend them without hesitation!

When I got new windows, I had a bunch of blinds that I needed to get. I have had a couple minor problems since then (6-8 months ago) and he is very responsive and I would use him again. He is very good.

I have been using them for a couple years. He has been very prompt and does a very good job. He is very willing to do whatever I need him to do.

The service was very good. The blinds were removed in the morning, and re-installed in the afteroon. They look like new!

Dave was very helpful in the showroom and when he came to our house and took down the old blinds, he left us with temporary blinds until he could install them after we got new windows. I would recommend the black out version for bedrooms, the semi opaque lets in some light as opposed to miniblinds, we love how much easier they are to handle vs. mini blinds. Dave did a great job installing them.

It was a very big job. It went excellent. They helped us select the blinds with the appropriate color. The instillation was accurate and on time. He is a nice person with great people skills and was very thoughtful. He and his wife own the business and they take their profession very seriously. He gave us temporary blinds during the work because he had to remove all our old blinds. Great experience. I would highly recommend them.

They came out on time and were very helpful. They did a great job and I was very pleased.

We were very impressed with this company. Their product showroom with welcoming and full of helpful displays. The company respresentatives were very personable and helpful. The company responded promptly to our request for a quote. The quote came in very close to a competing company. We struggled in our choice between this company and a competitor. We chose the competitor, because of the overwhelming number of "super service" reports filed for the competitor. With MORE reports in the area of window treatments; in addition to window cleaning, this company will certainly be a contender in the Hunter Douglas window treatment market!

Arrived on the date and time as promised. He was efficient and professional. Price was reasonable and competitive.

We called him to come out and give us an estimate. He was very courteous and pleasant during the visit. We had other companies come out to give us estimates and liked the other blind choices offered. When we asked him about those choices, he told us he could order those as well. I also informed him that he had the highest estimate of all of them; he was able to decrease his original estimate. He came and installed the blinds without any incident.

The entire process went exceptionally well. David came to our home twice, once before the new windows were installed to give us an approximate cost and a second time while the windows were being installed to get the exact measurements. He then ordered the blinds and came back to perform the installation when they were ready. He was always prompt with his appointments, pleasant to work with and informative. The blinds are of high quality, fit perfectly and look great. Nothing needed to be redone, unlike the last time we went through this process with another company. We could have paid a little less with other blind companies we interviewed but it was obvious we wouldn't be getting as good a product.

They did a fine job. He was very nice to deal with.

Dave was very responsive when I called. He could have come sooner, but I had to delay by a day since this was not an emergency. He arrived right on time. He was able to repair both shades at my home, and explained to me why the shades couldn't be raised or lowered. He did his best to keep the cost down by working efficiently and quickly.

After calling another Angies List Provider and being told over the phone that vertical blind mechanisms couldn't be fixed I contacted Continental Blinds. The owner came out to the home and quickly fixed everything for a nominal price. He was fantastic and I will certainly use him again.

Great! The owner was friendly when I arrived and offered to come out from behind the counter to hold the door open for me. Most surprising was when I told him I wanted the blind cleaned and restrung on one side he could tell even with the blinds pulled up which side needed restrung. He honored the 10% coupon I found for new customers on the web site. He wrote up the bill for me and let me know he'd be out of town the next day but would call me in a day or so to let me know the blinds were ready to be picked up.

We chose Continental Blinds because Mr. Morrison was willing to try and repair the large blind in the dining room vs. replacing it. He worked a long time on the shade before determining the mechanism to raise and lower the shade could not be replaced, but he came up with an alternate system that would allow us to continue to use the shade. We also replaced cellular shades in the kitchen at that time. The second time we used Continental Blinds was to install pleated shades in the family room. Again, Mr. Morrison spent a long time installing the shades to make sure they fit in the window correctly. He also advised us on the types of shades that would be appropriate for each setting. Mr. Morrison was available on the same day as one of our calls, and within 24 hours of another. He arrived on time for all visits.

He restrung five blinds and did a very good job. I'm going to use them again soon for more work.

They were prompt. I think my windows are very hard to clean but they were fine. The windows weren't really up to my satisfaction but he offered to come out and redo some of them. I just didn't want to be bothered with it.

It was excellent. We took it took it to them and they cleaned them in 1 day. Nice guy, did a good job, and price was reasonable.
