Friendly and helpful staff. Described services effectively. Took mower in for service in early spring, was expecting not to get it back for a week or two and to my surprise it was ready in less than a week!

They did a nice job. They took it right in and looked at it. They told me what the labor would be plus parts. I went and picked it up when it was done and they brought it out and loaded it on the trailer for us.

Took the lawmower in because it wouldn't start. The provider recommended a carburator rebuilt and estimated the cost to be about $72. The provider called to say it was ready, and when it came time to pay, the final bill was $140+. Took it out to the parking lot and still had trouble starting it. I don't mind paying for the services, but I don't think I got an honest estimate of the cost from the start. If I had, I probably would have just gotten a new mower. Overall, the cost was high in my opinion for the services performed.

erWhen I picked it up, I was asked about how often I use it and how I store it. They gave me lots of tips, including what gas brand to use. I didn't know most of what they told me. Very helpful. I will return for tune- ups on my mower and snowblower.

They did an excellent job! They did an excellent job to keep me informed about the progress of the job. When I picked up the mower and used it for the first time it worked like it was new.

I picked Como Mower Service & Sales because they're close to my house and they have a good reputation. They're efficient and prompt.

My Toro snow blower refused to start. I took it to Como Mower Service and Sales. There had been a recall on the machine almost 2 years earlier that had not been taken care of. They told me it might take 2 -3 days to get it fixed, and they would call me when it was finished. They called the next day and told me it was fixed and I could pick it up. They had performed the recall work and fixed whatever it was that prohibited it from starting. Tracy, the technician I talked with, helped me load it in my car, and gave me tips on how to prepare it for storage when warm weather returns. All the staff there that I saw and heard -- the person who called on the phone, Tracy, and others helping customers -- appeared very knowledgable about their products, they were personable, and they were punctual. And they said all the work was covered under the warranty. I had expected that of the recall, but was pleasantly surprised that the balky starting was also covered.

My Toro snowblower started for the first snowfall of the season, but ran poorly at first and then wouldn't restart. I took it to Como late on a Friday afternoon, anticipating more snow that weekend, and it was ready by 10AM the next day. I couldn't believe how quickly they turned it around. Now it runs as good as new. They are fast (overnight!), polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'll definitely use them again.

I took my lawn mower in and the service tech said it appears my carb needed cleaned. The engine was not getting fuel. They gave me an estimate and I also had them sharpen the blade. When I went in to pick up the mower they could not get it to start. The tech stated they had it running after the carb cleaning. The tech looked at the mower and found another part that seemed to be bad (the name escapes me) that was keeping the engine from getting a spark. They had a used part which they installed at no charge while I waited. I have been using the mower for several weeks now and have not had any problem getting it started. I found the employees to be very friendly. They knew what they were doing and even helped unload the mower when I brought it in and loaded it on my way home.

Store Clerk was very helpful in identifying the parts I need to make my repairs, she also made recommendations for how to install them properly. She also gave me a few tips and tricks to address another issue I was having with a leaf blower. I have used Como several times over the years and they ALWAYS have the Snapper parts I need, they've never had to special order something.

They were very good and we were very happy with the service they provided. It was a reasonable price for what they did. They explained what they were going to do ahead of time and gave us all the old parts back that were replaced so we could see the work they completed. We were very satisfied with them.

These guys are great. They did a tune-up on our snow thrower (blower) for less than the estimate and two days faster than promised. How can you beat that. (Plus, I'm giving them credit for keeping the snowfall light for the Winter because the Snow Gods knew I was ready for them!) Very highly recommended.

If you can plan ahead that would be best. They are very backed up and are up front with their turn around time.

Generally, I bring in my mower for a seasonal tune-up. When I remember I use their Winter sale and get the mower picked up and returned home. Good deal, but service area may be limited.

My husband has been a long-time customer of Como. He purchased a Toro many years ago from them. He was getting tired of taking the lawnmower in for repairs using our car. My husband doesn't clean or rinse the lawnmower after mowing...ever. He also doesn't do the required yearly maintenance as he should. So it is inevitable that it will need to be repaired more often. That being said, we brought the mower in with the intent of trading it in on a new one. The owner said that this was a better mower (for the motor and features) than any similar new mower on the market. Therefore, the obvious choice was to keep what we have and just have it tuned up and repaired. It was an honest thing that the owner did. He could have sold us a newer, junkier mower and would have made more money both in the sale of the new one to us, and also the resale of ours. My husband and I will continue to patronize Como and recommend them to others. I think they offer a pick up service as well.

I have used them for years. They give excellent service. They are an old company that delivers what they say. I would rate them highly and will continue to use them in the future.

My snow blower was running very rough. I called Como and they were very accommodating getting me in for a tune up and a cable I needed replaced.

.I have been buying lawn care equipment and getting it serviced from Como's since the mid 1970s. They're dependable, carry only good quality mowers, edgers, snow blowers, chain saws, etc They may cost a little more but you are not getting a stripped down model made for the "Big Box" stores and the extra money is well worth the backup and support Como offers. Plus, I have never had to put anything together. An indication of the service quality of this local company is every time I am in there people who do lawn care for a living are getting their equipment serviced here.

Great!!!!! try to get your service done early as business really picks up and it will likely take a lot longer to complete.

The man who originally answered the phone didn't tell me that they had a pickup service. When I called to confirm their address, another person answered the phone, and she told me it wasn't cold enough to tune the snow blower yet, they could hold it for me until it got cold enough, and if I waited for a month or so they would pick up the equipment, and drop it off back at the house for a nominal charge. I had already loaded the snow blower in the back of the SUV...but decided to wait, and unloaded my gear. However, even though I wanted their services, they wouldn't schedule the pick up yet because they weren't in that season yet. I gave them my name and contact information and asked them to call me when their season started to schedule a pick up. About six weeks later I called to complain that they hadn't called me to schedule a pick up, a third person who answered the phone apologized, and I scheduled a pick up. They picked up the gear within the two hour time period they committed to, and when the work was done they dropped off the gear. They took charge of the loading and unloading of their truck, so I didn't have to lift anything. The winter has been so mild that I haven't started up the snow blower yet, and the same is true for the lawn mower. So I can't comment on the quality of the work yet, but I'm optimistic. They do what they say they will do, but they do it their way, and on their schedule.

They were very upfront. I called them in advance to find out pricing and timing. They met my expectations; it was right what they said it would be. The price was slightly more than I would have liked. It was a good experience.

Overall, they were great. Their price was good. They were very friendly and worked hard. They gave all the parts back to us, so we know they did the work. They did it quickly. We will use them again in the future.

while we have not tried using the mower, their description of the problem they detected leads us to have confidence they knew what they were doing. Their price to repair the problem seemed very reasonable. Another mower service provider refused to pick up our mower due to the fact we live on a busy street. They said we would have to wait at the curb with the mower until they arrived. Como had no problems with pick uup and delivery. Our overall experience was very positive and we would use them in the future.
