Called the company and asked for an estimate to make a call. Thought it was high, so called another vendor (C.V. Price). Explained the problem and he suggested a couple of solutions that I could try. One of them worked! No service call!

The serviceman was pleasant, worked in a timely manner, and did a good job. The pricing was pretty much what I expected too. Would recommend Graf & Sons to friends and neighbors and would definately use their services again.

I paid the minimum fee. They were excellent! They gave me some advice on work I can do myself to save some money. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

It was great! Our 20-year old system worked flawlessly until a circuit in it went bad two weeks ago. We figured you couldn't ask for a better endorsement than that, so we were delighted to get Graf and Sons back to replace it. The gentleman who came and installed the new system had installed the original garage door 20 years ago! It is great to have that kind of care and experience available!

Two representatives were sent to the house. The first (Byrum Hart) came out to measure everything and make sure there would be no unexpected charges. He was able to get the actual installation date moved up by three or four days. The installer arrived on the promised day, got right to work, and was done before I really expected him to arrive. Excellent work all around.

Contractor performed superbly on a garage door repair at my home. The repairman was at my home on time and completed the work quickly.

Came within the window of time given. Were polite and professional. Solved minor problems to prevent a major one later. No problem using the Angie's List coupon. These guys were great!

Our salesperson Earl was extremely helpful and offered some guidance that helped us select the final Clopay door. When the door arrived, and our contractor had not completed his piece of the trim out work, Graf and Sons were very patient and offered us a will-call option to hold the door there until we were ready for it. When I called to have it installed, they had an appointment available within two days. They did a great job installing the door, and even came back the next business day to add an exterior handle I had not included in my original request. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Installed 2 garage doors very promptly. Very good. Had to order them so it took 4-6 weeks but that's what we expected.

Great installation. We're very happy with the new door. The installers were quick and professional, the whole installation taking about a couple of hours. The only negative was the fact that they called the day before to schedule the installation. It would be much better if they could schedule out several days in advance.

We had problems with the garage door opener right after they replaced the spring and they were not very helpful when we called (as far as troubleshooting the issue). As far as the spring installation is concerned, that was fine, it was just a matter of their phone demeanor and friendliness when we called with the other issue we were having.

The service man was courteous, on time, diligent and efficient.

Prompt service, was able to come out to the house within a week. Called when they arrived, total time was two hours.

We called Graf one morning because a spring had broken on our overhead door, and a car was stuck inside. They said they could be out in about 2 hours. A technician responded within the promised time and got the door opened. After inspecting the door, he left to get the material he needed and returned promptly to repair the door. The fee was reasonable no emergency call out charges even though we would have agreed to them. We had a good experience and will use them again.

Quick quote on broken spring and also to replace door. Quick installation. On time, polite, cleaned up will. Follow-up adjustment call response prompt and polite.

I HAVE HAD ONLY POSITIVE EXPERIENCES WITH GRAFT AND SONS.

CALLED ON A SUNDAY, WAITED 5 MINUTES TO TALK TO AN ANSWERING SERVICE. SHE TOOK THE INFORMATION. ON MONDAY I CALLED THE OFFICE TO MAKE SURE THEY HAD THE INFORMATION. I FOUND THEM TO BE VERY RUDE, THE PERSON ON THE OTHER LINE EXPLAINED THAT SHE HAD SIX PAGES OF CALLS, AND SHE HAS NOT GOTTEN TO MY NAME YET. SHE SEEM ANNOYED THAT I WAS CALLING TO SEE WHEN THEY WOULD BE OUT. THEN SHE INFORMED ME, WEDNESDAY WOULD BE THE SOONEST I WOULD SEE THEM.

THE SERVICE APPOINTMENT: DONNA ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS AND HELPED ME DO A BIT OF TROUBLE-SHOOTING OVER THE PHONE, AND ASSISTED ME IN SUBSEQUENT PHONE CALLS. SHE WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE A TECHNICIAN WHEN I COULD BE AT HOME. THE TECHNICIAN WAS KNOWLEDGEABLE, EFFICIENT, AND CAPABLE. HE SEEMED LIKE HE HAD A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. HE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS ABOUT REGULAR MAINTENANCE THAT I CAN DO TO KEEP THE DOOR WORKING SMOOTHLY. THE COST WAS $208 FOR A SINGLE GARAGE DOOR, AND I USED A $20 ANGIE'S LIST COUPON. I RATED PRICE A ''B'' BECAUSE THE BASE SERVICE CALL CHARGE ON ANY HOME SERVICE ALWAYS SEEMS LIKE A LOT TO ME. BUT I'M JUST NAIVE ABOUT THOSE COSTS.

PULLEY ON OUR GARAGE DOOR BROKE, CALLED THIS COMPANY, AND SCHEDULED AN ESTIMATE. APPOINTMENT WAS FOR 2:00 PM FRIDAY AFTERNOON, SO I TOOK A HALF DAY OFF WORK SO I COULD BE HERE FOR THEM. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. AT 2:30 I CALLED, AND THE SCHEDULER JUST SAID "HMM, HE'S PROBABLY WITH A CUSTOMER". I CALLED AGAIN AT 4:00 PM, AND THE SCHEDULER SAID, "HMM, THAT'S NOT LIKE HIM TO DO THAT". NEVER OFFERED TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE COME OUT. THEY NEVER DID FOLLOW UP WITH US OR TRY TO RESCHEDULE, OR APOLOGIZE FOR WASTING MY TIME. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, AND WILL GO OUT OF MY WAY TO TELL PEOPLE TO STEER CLEAR, JUST BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE COURTESY TO OFFER ANY APOLOGIES, OR EVEN RESCHEDULE. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, NOT TO MENTION RUDE.

THEY WERE GREAT. COMPETENT AND HELPFUL. TOLD HOW TO MAINTAIN THE PULLEYS. I'M NOT COMPLETELY SURE ABOUT THE PRICE, SO DON'T QUOTE ME (I DON'T HAVE IT AVAILABLE), BUT THEY WERE COMPETITIVE. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN.
