I am extremely satisfied with the service and responsiveness I recieved from Graf & Sons. I called the company for an estimate and a representative was out the next day. I had an old garage door that really aged my house and a phantom garage door opener that would randomly open during the day and night. He was very knowledgable and very curteous and did not once try to upsell me on a specific model or type of door. He even spent time helping me pick out a color combination that would best fit my house. I had gotten a cheaper quote from another company, but had found out that the door was not as insulated as the door I would be recieving from Graf. Even though it was a lesser door, Graf still negotiated an amazing price with me and was able to come out that same week to complete the service. The serviceman was friendly, clean, and answered every question that I had about the process and the new door itself. The door has a great warranty and Graf is sure to put their number by the opener in case there are any questions. Working with this company was fabulour; I appreciate the time and the effort they put into helping me make this decision and would strongly encourage anyone to use them.

They are very open about working with me in getting a garage door that fits in with the area. They got it in and painted it to match with the rest of the garage. They were just easy to work with.

They did a great job. The sales person wasn't pushy. The installer was professional and did a thorough job. The garage door now seals better than our old door did.

They did an awesome job of putting them in. It took two days, but it was pro. The first day, they measured the doors. Then they come out the next day and installed it. A week later, it was not working right. The guy came out that morning and fixed it.

Garage door was erratic & finally stopped opening & closing electronically. Dave found that the operations board was not working. Installed a new board. Lubricated & adjusted door. Showed me how to program remotes and an opener on my car's rear view mirror. He arrived at the appointed time, got straight to work and was finished in less than 1/2 hour. He was very polite and professional.

I called at 8am and by 1:30 pm Dave arrived to replace the broken spring. It took about an hour from start to finish and the door now operates smoothly and quietly. Dave was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.

My garage door and opener were in need of replacement. I contacted three of the most highly-rated installers on Angie's List, including Graf & Sons. I originally called them on a Saturday, only to find out from their phone service that I would need to call back between 8 a.m. & 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. I called them on Monday morning and their representative, Brian, came out that afternoon. Brian did a good job inspecting the property and explaining to me what he would do. He then collected my email in order to send me a written estimate. I did not receive the first email that Brian sent, so I followed up with him a couple of days after he had visited the property. He apologize, immediately resent the quote-- which was extremely competitive-- and followed up to make sure I received the second email. Of the three companies that provided a quote, Graf & Sons was the only one that did not provide the quote that day, in person. It was not a major factor in my decision to go with another firm, but I would have preferred to have had the quote that day. In the end I went with a different company because they were able to provide the style of garage door that I wanted that week-- as opposed to the 2-3 weeks it would have taken Graf & Sons to get it-- and at a slightly better price.

We were very pleased with the company, I called and told them that my car was stuck in the garage and the door would not open, they had someone out the same day. the repair took about an hour and now everything is working great !

We requested price quotes from several garage door companies. Walt from Graf & Sons did an on-site survey, provided us valuable information and the best pricing on the garage doors and openers we were considering. Walt advised that there would be a two week lead time because doors with windows are a special order. Walt called us two weeks later to say the garage doors and openers had arrived. But since it was the busy Christmas / New Year Holiday time, we opted to delay installation until the first Thursday in January. Graf & Sons installer (Don) called the day before to confirm his arrival time. Don arrived a few minutes early and proceeded to install the garage doors and openers exactly per Walt's quotation. Don was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and truly professional. Don immediately began the installation and did not stop until he finished about six hours later (as he had previously projected). Don explained everything to us about the features and operations of the garage doors and openers. When Don departed, we noted that he had eft our garage cleaner than it was upon his arrival. We have to give Graf & Sons an A+ for making this project go smoothly from start to finish. We would highly recommend Graf & Sons for garage door sales, installation and service.

I had a broken spring on my garage door. I am considering replacing the door so I spoke to a sales person who was very polite and knowledgeable. I later decided to repair my current door instead. of replacing it That same sales person setup a service call for the next day. The service guy showed up and was polite and knew exactly how to fix it. He communicated the price before he started and didn't run into any problems. Finished in about 30 minutes, cleaned up his mess and left. I will definitely hire again.

GRAF creatively found a solution to my broken antique garage door problem. Very few other garage door companies were willing to work on a single panel door. I would highly recommend this company. They also honored the Angies list discount.

Graf & Sons Inc came highly recommended by one of my coworkers due to a great experience they had replacing a wooden door. I found my experience to be the same. After hearing of the company and the work they did for my coworker, I did a little research on Angie's list and found their record to be top notice. I called the company to get an estimate. They came out to my house the same day to estimate the work. The estimate was for a Clopay 16x7 insulated, steel lined door. It included the removal of my door, installation of the new door, and taxes. Before sending back the proposal, I had some questions about paint color. The door I selected came with several different colors, but didn't match my door completely. They gave me great advice on how to paint if I wanted and offered to deliver the doors before installation so that I could paint them and allow time for dry. There would have been a small charge for delivery, that seemed more then fair. Two workers came to my house and had everything done in about 2-3 hours. They were polite and even helped me reset my key pad entry system. They also explained how to maintain the new door system. Overall, they did a great job and I highly recommend them. On top of all that, I was able to use a couple they were running with Angie's list to lower my overall bill.

I called the company and they were available within a couple of days.Dave was very prompt, friendly and proffesional He could have just come in, fixed it and left but he explained what he would check out to see what was wrong, and informed us what he might have to replace. We didn't have the manual for the opener since we just bought the home. He was very good, explaining everything about how the garage door opener works., he took the time to stay and answer all of our questions about the garage door opener.He even gave us some helpful tips, which he didn't have to. He was terrific. All this took less than an hour. We were very pleased and will definatly call them if we need help in the future. I highly reccomend this company. Thank you very much

The workers worked steadily without noise or creating much of any mess that they did not clean up. A good experience overall. I didn't realize that the proposal did not include replacing the rubber seals around the sides, so when I got home and they were not replaced, I was a bit disturbed. I also realized that one of the door seals were cut off and let in air, rain, and possibly little critters (I saw one yesterday). One of the workers called me because they forgot a tool charger and when I asked him about the seals that were cut off, at first he denied cutting them off then said that he couldn't fit the door without cutting them off, but did not replace them or have anyone call me about getting them replaced. I got the feeling that they hoped I would not notice even though our house faces east and the light comes in around the edges like headlights in the morning. I had to call and wait for the sales person to call me back and then he offered to replace both seals for the price of one, which is the least I would expect.

I talked to Jeff at Graf and Sons on 9/7/2011 and he was able to make us a appointment next day.They sent out technician Mel to do the work on our garage door. He was on time and completed the repair quickly and got us back up and running. I would definitely recomement them to others.

The salesman, Walt, came out as scheduled to measure and show me the options for replacing my door. Walt was very helpful and knowledgeable showing me the different options. He also showed me an issue with the trim work done by the builder and explained how they could easily correct it by adding some additional filler wood behind the trim. The door was ordered and the job scheduled with no issues. The installer arrived right on time and completed the work within the timeframe estimated. Wayne was also very knowledgeable and completed the job by himself with no issues. He cleaned up the work area and answered all of the questions I had about the installation. The Angie's List coupon provided for the door I purchased was a huge help. Thank you! I will recommend these folks to others.

I called on 7/19, and although I told him that it wasn't urgent, he said he could come out tomorrow morning. He arrived promptly at 11:00am and went straight to work replacing the springs. When he was finished, he described all the work he had done. The whole process took no more than an hour. Very professional and friendly service! I would definitely use this company again!
