Classic Air

Classic Air were very prompt in their response, assessed the problem, and gave two alternatives: either make what would probably be a temporary fix or replace the aging furnace. They gave a detailed estimate and we decided to replace. They were very professional in their response and the new furnace was installed within a few days.The servicemen were prompt and completed the work with the minimum of disruption - even offering to vacuum, up any mess they had made.

I have had them for 17 years. I really like the company. They give me a reminder postcard, they call on the way to the job, and they show up on time. Everything is positive.

They submitted a fair bid for the job done. The response was quick and the replacement was fast during a very hot time of the summer when our unit failed. We had used Classic Air since 2000 for annual maintenance and repair of our aging system.

The young man who came did a very thorough job and explained what he was doing and why. He checked and cleaned the unit , checked refegerant levels and all connections. I've used this company for a number of years for both purchase and maintenance and find them fair in price and knowledgable in there business.

No problem- Fair estimate- installation done on time and without problems

We originally just had a problem with the a/c, but the owner came out and said with all the rebates we could get a really good package plan for both the heating and cooling units. It came in and the job was completed way before the promised time.

The technician arrived on time and did the job to my satisfaction.

It went great! They came today to do a maintenance check on my air conditioner. I asked them to come at a specific time, and Jeremy came out on time. He’s been coming to my home for years. He’s very efficient, does a great job, and is very nice. I would highly recommend them, and will continue to use them in the future.

They are very customer-oriented. We have been using them for 15 years. If you are a regular customer of them, they will take care of you the more.

Classic Air was very comparable to other companies quotes for the HVAC replacement and performed the service within 3 days after calling to confirm the order. The guys that came were very professional and easy to work with, as one of the components of the Lennox system installed had been wired incorrectly from the manufacturer. The came back the next day to complete the job along with correcting the wiring issue. They projected 2 days for the job initially and accomplished that expectation. Everything went smoothly and the guys even cleaned up after themselves when they left, as some insulation had found its way from the attic access to the floor. I would definitely use them again for any service and actually signed up with a service contract with them do take care of both my basement HVAC and the new attic HVAC as a result of their excellent service.

I felt the upper unit was running more than it should and figured it might be low on charge. The initial check was done while I was at work and the technician found no problems with the system. As the unit continued to run almost constantly I called to have them come out and take another look. The second technician found the system to be low on charge and charged the system. During the course of the inspection we had to get in the attic to look at the unit. The technician did not have a ladder so I grabbed mine out of the garage and we went into the attic to look. On exit from the attic he went first and I went second. When I got off the ladder he was nowhere to be found. I eventually located him outside at his truck. I found it strange that he took off and was in my house without me knowing where he was but didn't think much more about it. After the charge the unit ran fine until a few days later when I came home on Friday to find it at 91 degrees in the house and I had my elderly mother staying with us that weekend. I called the urgent service number and the regular service number and no one responded. I got a call on Monday and they said there was a problem with their urgent line. Jim said he would make it right and as a result only charged me 138.00 for the installation of a 40 dollar capacitor. Not really making it right considering the uncomfortable weekend we spent in the house. A few days later my wife tells me that the closet organizer in my son's room (where the attic access is located) has been pulled out of the wall. My kid isn?t big enough to pull this thing off the wall and I can?t figure it out until it finally dawns on me that this technician must have stepped on the top of it when he was coming down from the attic and that is why he wasn?t there waiting for me when I got down from the attic. The guy seemed really nice so I was sure he would have said something. Sure enough there was a boot print on the top of the closet organizer. I should have called them back to complain about the damage but after them making it right the first time I had zero confidence they would be helpful this time. I know many others have had good experiences; I checked here before I hired them, but based on my experience I will never use them again.

Very Professional. Checked A/C. Found it was low (which I suspected). Recharged it. Bought annual Maint. plan including Furnace Check. No Problems. Somewhat long waiting list for an appointment.

The service person arrived right on time and completed the service in a timely manner; also replaced the filter.

My furnace was making a noise so I scheduled an appointment for them to come and look at it. The furnace was very old and I knew that most likely it wold need to be replaced. Of course when the techinician arrived there was no noise. He was gracious enough to wait for a while until the noise began. It turned out to be air noise in the heat exchanger indicating a crack. The technician then provided a quote for the a new furnace that was installed 4 days later. There was no charge for the service call since I was purchasing a new furnace.

Replaced blower motor and filters.

They came out to do routine service on two furnaces and heat pump. They completed one service on one furnace. I had only one service/furnace covered by an annual contract. When making the appointment, I indicated that I actually had two furnaces and a heat pump. I was told that to cover two additional units would cost $175 total. When the technitian showed up he had to call the office to see how my contract was set. Needless to say, he first quoted me an additional $175/unit. He then told me it would be an additional $200 for both. I told him just to service one furnace under my current contract. I have used Classic Air for over 10 years. This is the first time I have had customer service issues. They didn't offer to honor what was quoted on the phone. I was unhappy with the way it was handled, so I will try a new HVAC company for my other two units this fall and see how it goes. They have always been professional with quality work, but they messed up on the customer service end this time. The technician did a good job. He remained professional even though he knew I was not happy.

It went very well. They were polite and quiet. They bent over backwards until the job was done to my satisfaction and theirs. I highly recommend them.

I discovered yesterday morning at 10:30 that my AC wasn't working. My house is for sale, and I had a showing scheduled for 5:30 yesterday. Since I have an annual Service Contract with Classic Air and thus get semi-annual check-ups on my HVAC equipment, I knew that I would get priority service. But the service I received was even better than expected. By 3:30, Greg arrived and diagnosed that I needed a new motor for my compressor (as an aside, it was only 2 months out-of-warranty). By 4:15, our AC was working well again, and the showing proceeded as planned...with an outdoor temperature exceeding ninety degrees.

This was a great experience. The serviceman (Bill Edwards) arrived timely. He is friendly, courteous, professional, and knows his stuff! He got right to work - did the diagnostic check, found the problem quickly, and fixed what was needed. My A/C is back up and running great! I used Classic Air before to maintain my furnace and I will continue to use them for my A/C as well. Bill gave me the Angie's List discount. Great company with great employees. Also, when I called in the lady who took my information was friendly and professional as well. You can tell that this is a caring company which I appreciate.

It took 2 months for it to come in. As soon as the part came in, they installed it.

They did a good job. They were the best estimate we had. They were honest about everything when they came out to give us the estimate. They answered our questions well. We called them because we joined Angie's list and there were a lot of positive comments about them. They got it done when they said they would. Everyone was very polite and cleaned up everything.

I have used them for about 15 years. They are always on time and do a great job. They call when they are on their way to do service.

Excellent work, I have referred them. They are prompt, efficient and the price is excellent. Jeremy was the service-person who worked with me, he was excellent also. Take care of customers immediate needs and go well above and beyond.

They were great. I felt it was pretty good of them. It was $95 for two inspections, it was really a good price. In terms of quality of work, I do not know what they did, it seemed all right but I do not know. I would use their services again in the future.
