Classic Air

On 7/14/23 Tom Shunk came from Classic Air the very same day we called for assistance. He was able to diagnose and bring our AC on line again. He explained clearly what needed to be done and in short time the job was completed and our house was cool. I had confidence in his ability and his professionalism.

They have been excellent, reliable, very courteous, and they really know what they are doing. I would highly recommend them as well.

BEST BEST BEST service in town. I would never consider another HVAC company. If only all businesses operated like this one! Joey came out and did my summer maintenance check this week. As always, he was prompt, courteous, and efficient! When I went to the basement later in the day, I noticed the empty box from the filter I had purchased (and it's a large filter / large box) was gone - Joey took it with him when he left. Now that may seem like a small thing, but it really spoke volumes. I had a privacy fence installed earlier this year by a very well known company and they left an absolute mess in my yard. Sadly, I've come to expect poor service because it is so often the norm. The fact that Joey left the basement spotless, even taking along that empty box, really struck me - that is someone who cares about his customers, his job, and his company! I've used Classic Air for years and years (including purchase/install of new furnace and AC last year) and I have never had an issue. I trust them implicitly and feel as though they have always been fair on price.

Classic Air did a great job. I walked the job down with Russ and he recommended a Bosch heat pump. I hadn't done my homework yet, so I wasn't sure, but after I did my own due diligence, I was confident that Bosch would be better than the Lennox option, and it was also cheaper than the competition. They came and replaced the whole system in 1 day (done by 3:30) and did a high quality job. They were able to keep my nest thermostat and wire in the humidifier, and also relocate the outside unit. They will be my go to HVAC contractor.

They're great! They come very promptly, their people was very knowledgeable, they offer emergency service which is good and they're local. I have recommended them to other people.

Everything went very well they showed up when they said they would and finished on time. At the time everyone was quoting 2+ weeks out for installs(I talked to 5 other companies). Classic came in the day after we awarded them the project and was able to get our unit “limping” again so it would cool until our install date with no cost to us. Had small Condensation water issue after startup and called them. They had a tech there that afternoon to address.

Classic Air did an excellent job in every respect. I selected a Lennox system which is not the cheapest but have been more than impressed with the quality and performance. I selected a variable speed blower which provides a more consistent comfort level in the house. This is the 3rd system Classic Air has installed at my house. I always get competitive bids. I have compared there prices to the Costco Members price for a Lennox A/C and even with Costco's $1,200 credit, the quote Russ from Classic Air gave me was still competitive and I trust their install team (Mat and Nathan) . I would hire again.

As always, they were on time, called to let us know when they were on the way, were courteous, efficient, informative and friendly.

Mat and Nathan came out and did a fantastic job. They arrived on time, competed the job in a day (as promised), cleaned up afterwards, and explained how to use my new thermostat. The craftsmanship was second to none. They made sure that all the duct work was air tight and the drain pipes were draining correctly. This was the second system they installed for me and I will have them install my third system when the time comes.

Classic Air had the best price by far. They were absolutely great! Quick, clean, timely, professional, and they keep to their word. They gave us a written proposal with price. We had it and the company checked out by our attorney before we started. All was in perfect order. Classic delivered according to their word. We would not think of using any other company after our experience.

The work went great. Sent a great team out to get everything installed. The team showed up on time, described what they were doing and completed the job in a short amounts of time. When the team left, you couldn’t even tell they were there due to their cleanliness.

It was a good experience. They did a good job. I would recommend them. We pay for a yearly contract for the air conditioning and furnace.

Classic Air gave me an estimate for a new Lennox Heat Pump and some duct work. They explained what they proposed doing and how it would improve the overall comfort of the house. Although it was the second highest estimate I received, I felt it was the most cost effective because it proposed better equipment, better duct work remedies, better warranty, and very experienced craftsmen doing the work. They arrived on time, removed the old system, found previous copper line repairs (poor soldering) were done incorrectly and had to fix those to ensure a proper seal of the refrigerant, installed the new Heat Pump and Air Handler, and activated the system. This system is by far the best and smoothest performing AC I have ever had. I could not be happier with all of it and highly recommend.

I've seen cheaper offers. They are always punctual.

They stepped in and fixed a poorly installed $18000 furnace that another contractor did during our remodal, and made everything right. They made life good and have taken over the service contract. Highly recommended. Thank you Classic Air.

I had a great experience. Our needs were assessed, and the right products were chosen at a fair price. Great people to work with, upfront and honest. The installation was on time and there were no problems. Looking forward to our relationship with this family strong company.

I've used them for 10 years. Their work was excellent. The workers were very personable. They left the area very clean. Everything they did was really good.

They?re the ones that originally installed the furnace and air conditioner when we brought our home when it was in the construction stage. Then we had a problem with the compressor, the outside unit. The manufacturer was Rheem. To make a long story short, we had three compressors within a period of about 30 days. The third time, they charged me for service, which was actually more than the unit cost. So, I didn?t use them for quite a while. Then for one reason or another, I decided to go back to them. I don?t have any problems, everything is working good, so I don?t know what they could do to improve it. Might not be any problems with it. It was working. I would probably recommend them. I don?t think their price is most reasonably, but sometimes it?s worth paying a little bit more if you?re familiar with the company and you know that they?ll do it right. They were very responsive.

Classic found no problems that Atlas Butler said I had. No furnace needed.

I called Classic Air to get free estimate for replacement. The owner, Russ, came the next day. He did his assessment quickly and quietly but was friendly and professional. His was the last estimate of 4 that day and his proposal was by far the best (especially on warranty) so I scheduled on the spot. I got an appointment for a couple days later. The crew arrived right on time and got the job done quickly with no apparent issues. They protected the floors while removing the old system and bringing in the new system. The new system is very quiet and runs well. The installation technician even walked me through the new thermostat and let me record him on video so I could share with our tenants at that location. No complaints at all with the HVAC replacement itself. My only complaint came after they left. One of the guys asked to use the bathroom. I went into the bathroom shortly after he left and found the toilet handle broken and on the floor. Nothing was said to me about it. I was able to fix it for about $20 in new parts, but it was not convenient for me to add time for this repair onto an already long day and I had to arrange for someone else to get my child from school last minute because of this unexpected maintenance task.

I called Classic Air to schedule a free estimate, and I was able to get an appointment that same week. It was the owner who came to my home. He looked at my furnace and AC unit then printed an estimate of the job. He was friendly but professional. I called within the next 2 days to accept the estimate and make an appointment. I was able to get an appointment within the same week even though I was told that the job would take 1-1/2 days. The crew came a few minutes earlier than the appointment and managed to complete the entire job that same day. I appreciated the fact that they laid down some tarp so as not to dirty my staircase. My furnace and AC unit seem to be functioning well. Overall, I'm pleased with the service I received from Classic Air. My only complaint was that the workers broke something made of glass in my basement (it didn't appear to be anything of mine) and didn't dispose of the smaller shards. Fortunately, I saw the pieces and removed them. I called to report the broken glass to the company, and the receptionist said she would send someone to clean the mess. When I told her I had already cleaned it, she said she would pass the information on to the owner.

I've had good experience with them. I had them come out because it was making a noise. I was pretty sure that I was going to have a major problem if I didn't get it fixed.

It was great. They were on time, did a great job. I've had them for a long time and I'm very happy with them.
