Classic Air

Our experience with them has been very good. They are reliable, and we haven?t had any issues with our air conditioner or our furnace. They come out when they say they will. We are happy with them. I haven?t really compared the price with anybody else but I guess it is neither good nor bad. I didn?t spend anything the last time because the work was covered by the service contract.

They provided a timely estimate and seemed to generally do a good job. Everyone was friendly and fairly professional; the only lapse being a drilling mishap that left a small hole in our kitchen wall, which which was on the other side of of the wall where they mounted the new thermostat. They offered to repair it.

Everything was top-notch. They were very knowledgeable and responsive and they completed the job in a timely fashion and manner. I was very happy with them.

Classic Air was able to send someone the same day.

Technicians were on time and efficient. Kept my equipment running. When I did have trouble, they were prompt to come and repair.

The thermostat was not working properly. Some times the furnace would kick on, but not do anything. Classic Air came when they said they would. The guy could not really find anything wrong,because of course the furnace seemed to be working okay at the time. He did a maintenace check up and cleaned the sensor. I have had no problem with the furnace nor the thermosat since Classic Air was here.

I have a maintenance agreement with them, once in the spring and fall. They very reliable and show up on time. If they find something wrong they well explain what is wrong and what needs to be done.

They send me reminders to schedule my seasonal checkups, arrive promptly, and do a great job!!

I have used this company before and I now have a service contract with them. They have given reliable service in the past and I felt that I would continue customer loyalty. They gave me a brand name system. They have a responsive customer service team and will resolve any problems as soon as possible.

Things went very smoothly. We went from a full gas system to a heat pump and gas combination. They replaced it efficiently and have had no problems with it. They were very good about explaining things as they went along.

Mid-way through a very cold Saturday, I discovered we had no heat. I called Classic Air and immediately got in touch with someone. He indicated he had 8 other calls, would see if he could get to us if he was in our area, but couldn't guarantee it. I called another company, who was a lot more expensive for weekend work and didn't seem very interested in helping us. So I decided to wait until Classic Air could fit us in. The technician called back later in the day to say he couldn't come that day but would come first thing on Sunday. He was flexible on his time Sunday morning. The technical then called back around 6:30 Saturday night and said he could come then if I preferred. So he came and was done by 7:15. I was pleased that he kept me informed of his schedule and that he accommodated me to the extent possible. Even when he was extremely busy, he was professional and understanding of our situation. This is not the first time Classic Air has come through on an urgent situation for us and I appreciate the fact that they care about the customer.

I have used this company since about 1987 in several different residences. They have always done a good job of keeping everything running for me. They are good guys and are always prompt. They do not try to fix things that are not broken. One time I had a thermocoupler go out during a bad winter storm and they did send someone over right away.

Our furnace humidifier ran constantly, instead of just when the furnace was on and fan blowing. We tried one advertised company, and the technician was unable to correct it. Classic Air got it right the first time. And it was really not a major fix either.

I have no complaints. They came on time just when they said they would. They were very professional and respectful. They cleaned up well after themselves and did an overall good job.

They are very courteous when they are there. They always show up on time to do the work. They call us to tell us that they are on their way over to our house.

In 2006 we replaced the air conditioner and the furnace both. They did this work well; we didn't even compare with other companies because we had used them for so long. They give you a few hours for a window when they are going to come out and then call when they are on their way, which is good. We will continue to use them and have recommended them to others. The approximate cost listed is per year.

Both Butch and Mike did excellent work and were fun to have around. They explained in detail what they were doing. Due to the weather they suggested delaying the installation of the heat pump. The furnace was installed on Tuesday and they returned Thursday morning to complete the heat pump. They even suggested moving the unit to a different location so the window would have a better view.

The price included everything, labor, taxes, etc. The installer was timely and professional. The salesman took the time to educate me as to what furnaces were available and what my options were.

Great! My A/C broke during a really hot spell. Classic Air was able to fit me in the next day. The technician assessed the situation and told me because I had a major leak and my unit was 11 years old, it may be better to get a new unit. The salesman came out quickly and gave me my options. Because of the cost, I had another company come out as well, who took a lot more time, was a lot more expensive, but came up with the same recommendation. Classic Air was very accommodating in giving me a quick appointment. When the gentlemen came out to install the new unit, they were very efficient, neat, and courteous. They answered all my questions and made sure I understood how the new thermostat worked.

They are very punctual and very professional. Their contract is very fair in their pricing and they do a thorough job.

We have used them for about 10 years. They are always on time and professional. They are very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions without any problems. They are very quick to respond to any problems that arise. All in all they are just great to work with.

I have been working with them for 17 years, and I still have not received the call from the manager the technician told me I would receive. It's been over a week. I would rather not do business with them again. The technician also left his tools in my house, which was very strange. (Price is for the service contract, 2 visits a year.)
