Mark was highly rated on Angie's List, and he met that rating. He took care to remove doors, hardware, etc from the windows and trim before painting. The work performed is very good, he worked long days to complete the job. There was quite a bit of wood trim to prep and paint in the three rooms. Everything was put back in place as it had been. We would definitely hire Mark again to do any type of renovation work.

We remodeled our kitchen last year and wanted the old cabinets installed in a basement workroom. I called Mark for an estimate and he came out the next day and asked great questions and gave us some ideas of which cabinets should go where and the fact that not all the cabinets would fit in the space. We decided to have Mark hang the left over cabinet in our garage. Mark arrived on the date set for the work. We had 6" of snow the night before and Mark was less than 10 minutes late and called to tell us he would be slightly late due to the snow. When he arrived he got right to work and got everything done in one day. He installed 6 cabinets and new countertop in the workroom and an additional cabinet in the garage. He took it upon himself to hang the cabinet in the garage using a french cleat so we could move the cabinet if, at a later date, we decided we wanted it in a different location. This was a great idea that we hadn't thought of. His work was excellent, very precise. We thought the workroom looked so good it could pass as a second kitchen! Mark also cleaned up the best I have had any workman clean up and I have had many people work for me over the years. I was very impressed with Mark and would highly recommend him.

He is patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. On top of this he is very up front about what can/cannot be done and the explains his reasoning. His work is outstanding and is obviously something he really cares about! He made suggestions where needed and was willing to work with me to get what I wanted. He is efficient and gets the job done when he says he will. If there are problems he is the one to show them to you and explain what needs to be done. Worth every penny! Outstanding job! Prior to mark, two contractors worked on building my basement bathroom. Both of which turned to be a nightmare (one of the contractors was Ron Williams of Columbus Home Services). On the surface their work looked good but behind the surface the plumbing, electrical, duct work and more was so bad and not up to code (following inspection by licensed professionals) that it had to be taken out. In the process I lost 3000 dollars just in labor. Mark has been a breath of fresh air. His estimate was comparable to other estimates from Angie?s list. While he was working on the bathroom he didn?t have other projects going, so he finished the job within budget and time. The bathroom looks fantastic. Mark not only does an outstanding job but he builds a friendship with the home owners. He operates with the highest integrity and ethics, rare virtues in the contracting business. The way he approached the project was as if it was his own house. I recommend Mark wholeheartedly for your renovation and handyman work.

It went great. Mark's estimate was reasonable, and he was very flexible in finding a time that worked well for both of us. The work was done over three days, and Mark was prompt each day, arriving exactly when he said he would. He cleaned up the area he had been working on meticulously, and he never tracked anything into the house. Some of the work itself was more involved than we initially thought it would be, but Mark definitely knows what he is doing and had no problem completing it. He also honored his original estimate for the work. The quality of the work was fantastic. Our hardwood floor is old and comprised of very thin boards. When we moved in 3 years ago, there was a hole in the floor near one of the fireplaces. Mark milled boards to the correct size and stained them perfectly. They match the old floor as well as they could, given that wood available today does not have the same grain as old wood. All of the other work was done with the same eye for detail and high quality - and I am a rather picky person. I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone looking for a remodeler or handyman.

Prompt, versatile, fair (reasonable) and neat, this provider is definitely worth having again. We had several items which needed repair and checked out a new company which was having flyers distributed in our area. Since the company was on Angie's List and had a good review, we decided to try it. The owner of Circa, Mark Paxton, repaired or replaced five outdoor lights with varying needs. That went well and was finished quickly, so we had him install a bathroom faucet we had purchased but hadn't been able to install ourselves, because we couldn't get the old plumbing apart. He also installed shut-off valves at that sink. Next came the kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. The plumbing at that location turned out to be unconventional, but he figured it out, replaced corroded parts with plastic, and installed shut-off valves, as well as the kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. We needed a new hood for the range. Mark helped us to select one and explained that there were none available which had the vent in the same place as our original. After discussing the additional labor and cost involved, we had him cover the vent site, cut a new one, and install the new hood. Although a cabinet had to be partially removed and rebuilt, the change is invisible, and I was amazed that there was minimal activity and thorough clean-up. I would use this provider again for repair, construction, or other work.

Professional, timely, flexible, and within budget. He showed up on precisely on time every morning. While the work was being done we had to conduct business as usual in the space. His professional demeanor and attire helped to preserve our office atmosphere. He clearly explained our options initially- and also gave us freedom to adjust the build-out as we had additional ideas. We needed the kitchen ready for a large event- and he was able to exceed our expectations in regards to timetable and stay within our budget. We are readying a build-out for a child-care area in our office and will utilize Circa Renovations
