Description of Work: The company removed an asphalt driveway and two porch slabs and replaced them with concrete. All work was done in one day.

Description of Work: I called for them to replace 2 porches. Chris came out to give me an estimate and said that the front porch was good; we would just need to get a company out to take out the rusted, broken wrought iron and replace it. He gave an estimate for replacing the back porch, which we found acceptable. Within 6 days, he was out to replace the porch. He had one of his crew power -wash the front porch and sidewalk. This made a world of difference and confirmed that the porch didn't need replaced. He did not charge us for this service. We are pleased with the new back porch and would hire him again.

Description of Work: Replaced patio. Everything went according to plan. They arrived early and completed total job in one day. We had no ruts in the yard which we were concerned about.

Description of Work: We needed to replace concrete steps and a landing from the driveway to the front porch. A number of other contractors told us that they were too busy and/or our job was too small. Because there isn't a lot of room enough for a big truck, Chris' workers used a wheelbarrow. He also came in $400 dollars lower than one other estimate, (plus $100 off with coupon). The other contractor also included a waiver of liability in the estimate. Chris came out to check the work and to see if I was satisfied. His workers are coming back to clean up and finish replacing some landscape rock. Chris is a really nice guy who clearly loves people and his work. Quality work at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: R & R 20+ year old concrete patio slab. Increased to approximate double size and raised about 4-6". Great personable owner, but very disappointing surface finishing. Aesthetically disappointing, but hope it holds up strucurally

Description of Work: Poured a concrete patio. Went very well. He also repaired a crack in concrete that was laid previously.

Description of Work: Removed old driveway...and pathway to house....reconstructed and redesigned the path to house and opened a new path to the back of the house from the right of the house. A great job by his team. VERY clean, punctual, excellent workmanship. The team is very professional and pleasant to work with

Description of Work: Chris and his people were very professional. He came out in a very timely manor and went over every aspect of above and beyond b y doing work that was extra at no charge. I was kept informed all the way thru the job and when there were delays, Chris called me to let me know what was going on. I would highly recommend this contractor and would not hesitate to use him again. He is a man of his word and very easy to get along with. A real pleasure doing business with.

Description of Work: Purchased the Big Deal for foundation inspection for water damage. He went to the basement and took one loom at the paint coming off the wall and said just scrape it off and put a new coat of Drylok on. Then he told me to tell Angie's List he was here and left. He didn't investigate at all and I don't feel any better about the issue since he barely looked at it. It wasn't worth $49. He seemed in a hurry and possibly irritated that he had to come out to where I live which is about 20 minutes out of the city. Wouldn't use him again.

Description of Work: They repaired a concrete stoop. I really appreciated how responsive Chris was, and he wasn't at all pushy. In fact, he convinced me that he could repair the stoop rather than replace it and save us a lot of money. We are happy with the results.

Description of Work: Super nice guy. I think the job was maybe smaller than his normal work but he gave me great advice to perform the work on my own. He was familiar with my area (historic) and predicament (previous 'handiwork'). Additionally gave me advice on other portions of my foundation that may eventually need attention paid to. Was very knowledgeable and will to share his experienceto a DIYer. If Chris' work is as quality as his knowledge then he could be an Angie's List gem.

OUR FIRST TOPIC WAS CONCRETE REPAIRS AND PROJECTS PARTICULARLY SIDEWALKS, CURBS, DRIVEWAYS AND HOME IMPROVEMENTS. CHRIS RETURNED MY CALL PROMPTLY AND WAS INTERESTED IN COMING TO SHARE HIS EXPERTISE AT NO COST. WE WILL PUT HIM ON THE ROSTER FOR A FUTURE MEETING AGENDA.
