This is one honest company. Called them to look at my mom's porch and after taking time on a Saturday to come look at it he concluded that the porch in fact did not need to be replaced and that it was fine - just needed cosmetic work. Did not charge us a dime and he sure could have. When I do need something done I am calling them.

Our paver patio was set on a poorly installed, damaged concrete foundation that was in place before we owned our home. Chris and his crew meticulously restored the concrete and reused all of our pavers which were still in good shape. Their attention to detail and work ethic was so impressive, not to mention their manners and pleasant dispositions. They arrived early in the morning and worked until late afternoon. We are absolutely thrilled with the result and would hire them again without hesitation. I highly recommend them!

I needed to replace my front brick steps from Brick to Concrete. We have been running into loose bricks, pretty much after each winter, to the extent that I was concerned about safety of visitors (my brother-in-law fell on a loose brick). Chris and crew showed up on time (like 1 min early!). And they did a great job taking all the bricks out and pouring concrete instead to give us a peace of mind and a good looking concrete steps. Throughout the process, Chris explained to me what is going on in detail and answered all my questions. I probably asked him the same question a few times and he patiently answered my questions. Chris is a master mason with specialty in concrete. He knows what he is doing and does it well. He is humorous, generous and a gentleman. Chris (personally) spent a lot of time power washing other areas of my pavers even though that was not part of the deal. I offered to pay him for it but he refused and said "I just want the place to look gorgeous when I leave. I highly recommend Chris and his team for any concrete / cement work.

Chris was extremely fast and reliable. Within the first contact, he was over to quote same day and scheduled us in the same week. During these times, getting someone to provide service and quality work is tough. With over 50 years of service and experience, it’s easy to go with Chris and his team. Chris lives up to his saying, “We aim to please!” Also, I can say if you are reluctant to get work done with Chris…Don’t worry about it!!!

Chris always returned the calls in timely manner. Concrete projects usually need waiting based on company's book-of-work and weather. Therefore, Chris proactively called me every two weeks to update me the latest, after he told me in Mar that my project probably be on in May. The price is very reasonable. Plus, I like the way of pricing - the qoute is lump-sum and no additional charge for 'trivials' during the project. When the project began, we found the steps of side door need to be removed and re-made. Chris did not charge me additionally for the new steps.

Chris Ruh came to my home to look at the concrete work I thought I might need in the curb area in front of my house. Firstly, Chris is very patient and very personable. He proceeded to thoroughly examine and measure the area. He took his time to discuss how work could be done. The work would be quite an expense. Most importantly, Chris discussed with us whether the work was really needed and whether it would be worth the cost to get only a slight benefit, if any, from the work. We felt we had received excellent advice from a very experienced gentleman and decided against having the work done. But if I ever needed concrete services in the future or if friends of family needed such services, I would not turn to anyone else. I highly commend and recommend Chris Ruh for any concrete services.

I called Chris after spending over a year trying to find someone to even consider doing this job on my 1940s East Beechwold home. My porch was somewhat unique (for many contractors; not the area) because it also serves as the ceiling for a closet in the basement. As a result, this job required building a brace in the basement closet before demo, to ensure that the existing porch did not collapse into the house. Part of the job was also getting an electrician out to remove a working light, which Chris also arranged for me through his contacts after my efforts came up short. Chris explained everything to me, showed me different steps along the way, and built an amazing porch and walkway for me. The porch job wasn't cheap, but Chris's estimate was by far the cheapest, and he also included a new walkway. He had a pretty sizable crew on-site which made the job move quickly despite all the labor that was involved. Chris is a really knowledgeable and kind man, which made a really stressful situation far easier. And, his crew was very respectful and courteous all along the way. I would definitely hire Chris and his team again!

Excellent! Chris and his team are second to none. After looking at total job, realized there would be a few additions needed, he accommodated as well as the entryway and my graveled parking area needed backfilled and leveled....NO CHARGE. I have used Chris on numerous projects in the past twenty years and his customer service and attention to detail is what sets him apart. Thanks to RUH TEAM!

Great! The cracked porch was removed and replaced in one day! The owner oversaw the whole project. He had his workers do several other repairs. They did excellent work and the porch looks great!

This is my second project with Chris Ruh and team. Last spring he poured a large curved patio at the rear of our newly built home. We are sill extremely pleased with the patio! So needless to say when I came up with a new idea to build an enclosure to hide our trash cans, I call Chris to pour the pad and connect it to my driveway. Again, he and his team came through with flying colors! Great price quote, timely installation, all done with very good customer service. He's my guy!

Chris Ruh is absolutely top notch. His prices are fair, his crew is skilled and extremely hard working; it is readily apparent that they enjoy working for/with him, and he has great respect for them in turn. I was so pleased with the work that I took a photo of the crew posing in front of the building and made postcards for Chris and all members of the team. When they returned to do some touch up (no extra charge) we all greeted each other as long lost friends. Final note: his grandson is part of the crew, and he has learned Spanish on the job. You can tell that the chemistry among the workers and this young guy is excellent. This is America as it should be lived!

I left message requesting estimate and received a call back within 24 hours. Made an appointment on Monday and job was completed early afternoon the next day. Excellent service, very professional and clean. Would highly recommend!

I left a message at Chris' office on Tuesday, I received a call-back and on-site estimate by Chris on Wednesday. The work was performed the following Monday. Perfect!! Also , Chris was on-site while the work was being done. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat!

Chris and several employees came at 11 in the morning and were done by 3 p.m. I was SO impressed by how careful they were and what a good job they did. Chris pointed out several other nearby problems and took care of them because it wouln't be right not to, and said he wouldn't charge me extra. I was so impressed I paid him more than he wanted to charge. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing concrete work.
