They came out right away and did a good job.

I got this company through Angie's List and he immediately dropped the price by $100.00. To the best of my knowledge this was a reasonable price.

Chris said he usually did not do small projects, but in my case he would make an exception. He quoted me a fairly high price for such a small job, but since it was a potential liability problem if someone tripped, I agreed. A month and half later and dozens of calls not returned, my sidewalk is still waiting to be fixed. His answering service is rude and unprofessional, which is not surprising when one realizes how Chris treats his clients. A bush league outfit - avoid. Chris can't make any time for you unless he feels your job is "big enough" to warrant his attention. What Chris doesn't realize was had he done his job, I would had hired him to put in a new driveway for me this coming spring. Chris, you have to actually show up for the little jobs if you want the big ones!

Chris & Todd were incredible! The work was done fast & professionally and they were both very personable. When I had a concern about the porch bracing they made time to drive from Reynoldsburg to my home in the Hilltop in between their existing scheduled jobs to check it out (as it turns out the bracing was fine and I was worried for nothing) but they went the extra step of installing a temporary 4" x 4" to alleviate my safety concerns as a part of doing business. It's a great company, they did a great job and they're a great couple of guys! I am extremely happy with their service, their workmanship and will gladly recommend them to anyone in the future.

They did a great job. When they were done Chris was not happy with how far above the ground the pad turned out so he called me and said he would have a load of topsoil delivered. Then he returned with his men to distribute the dirt to around the pad to make it look much better. Great job Chris and crew.

I called to request an estimate and left a message. I received a call back right away and someone came out within a day or two (very nice!). He was friendly, thorough and professional. However, I did not opt to use Chris Rue Concrete because the work was too expensive. I had no problems with the company other than the price.

Chris and his crew came out Friday morning and stayed all day, because they found more cracks and problem areas while repairing than they initially saw when they came out to give me a quote. There was no extra charge, though. When I returned home from work, at 5:00 pm, they were finishing up, and had been there since 9:00 a.m.!! Chris explained what had been done and shared the type of material they used for repairs. No mess was there, so if they had left before I had returned home, I would have never guessed anyone had been out (other than the fact that my fence was repaired). Chris is so very friendly. He gave me advice on painting the fence, since it had been painted prior to the repairs being done, and we discussed other cement areas I have that need "TLC" at a later date. A few days later, I called Chris to share that I found a few areas that were missed, and no problem! He just asked me to mark them and he had two of his guys out to fix them right away!

They didn't return a call after 3 phone calls in one week.

After the initial consult the contractor recommended we not make repairs since it may make our situation worse.

I thought they did a great job but the price seemed a little high. They cleaned up well and were very nice.

They came when they were supposed to come and they were very pleasant to work with. I had a little problem on the bill but we got that straightened out.

Overall it went very well. Chris initially gave us an estimate of 4,000 to install the beams but after the structural engineer we hired assessed the situation (Chris absorbed the cost of the engineer) more beams were needed so the estimate was revised to $5,100. Chris made an error in writing up the estimate and did not include two beams so installed those two at no additional charge. They had already started the work and realized they didn't have all the beams they needed and Chris spent the better part of a day chasing down the additional beams so the job could be finished in a timely manner. The crew always arrived on time, were friendly, professional, tolerant of our barking dogs and completed all work per the specifications of the engineer. The only major we had was that one of the workers cut some wires thinking they were useless but they were our phone lines.

Priced as bid, on time, definitely would do business with them again.

Excellent. Met the man for an estimate, agree upon it and returned to do the work on an handshake (no down payment). Came when they said they would and did an excellent job, really looks nice.

BY A MIX-UP ON MY PART THEY DIDN'T END UP DOING THE WORK. BUT THE MAN WHO CAME AND GAVE THE ESTIMATE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM, IF NOT FOR THE MIX UP I WOULD HAVE GONE WITH THEM.

The project went wonderfully well. The concrete was removed one day, and the new concrete poured the next day. Chris's team did a very nice job. It's looks good. They were very friendly.

He came the next day after I called him. Worked up an estimate on the spot. I chose another company because of price, however, he price was reasonable.

They were fast, friendly, efficient, and did great work. The price appears fair (despite being a bit steep, but they were lower than the other estimate I received from another Angie's List company). The work looks GREAT!

Extremely responsive to my calls, communication was excellent. Chris called me several times to give me updates on the work and scheduling. I'm very pleased with the results. They were able to do it in less than a day. Everything was completed and tidy by the time I got home from work. I would highly recommend Chris Ruhl.

Chris and his employees were very polite, and other than a little vagueness on the start date, extremely professional and communicative. The workers were considerate and cleaned as they went along. We had another company come and give a quote on just doing the parking pad. Their quote was $6,000. Chris did a parking pad and steps for a third of that cost.

They were unbelievable. The work was completed within 30 hours of my first call for the estimate. This guy is responsive, and his crew works hard. I had gotten previous estimates from an A rated Angie's List company but was having trouble getting them to call me back to set a date for the project. I grew tired of waiting, so I called Chris. His crew went the extra mile to create a level apron in an old, unlevel garage and replicate the pattern from the previous sidewalk into the new one. I wish every dealing with a contractor went this smoothly.

We were setup with Chris Ruh through Rogers Basement Waterproofing. After our a former crawl-space was waterproofed, Chris Ruh Cement came in to pour a 3 1/2'' thick floating cement floor. Chris was professional, punctual, and communicated with us openly at all times. Even with the poor weather, Chris got our job done ahead of schedule. The final product is excellent, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris to anyone.

The experience was excellent. Chris Ruh was very helpful in deciding what work needed to be done. The crew arrived as scheduled. The job was difficult, as the brick wall was supported by the porch instead of on the house foundation. The wall had to be supported as the porch was replaced. Chris was present and supervised all of the work. There was no damage to my lawn or landscaping. The work on the brick wall required extra work and planning; therefore the cost of the work was somewhat higher than simply replacing the 6 x 20 foot porch. I was very pleased with the work done.

He was very professional and did a fine job, showed up when he said he would. I would recommend them to anyone else that needs concrete work done. They cleaned up well after themselves well.

Chris and his team did an excellent job for us. Their work removed a hazard from our property, and improved the appearance. They were very flexible as evident by a last minute design change. You would have never known they had been here after leaving other than the appearance of new cement. They were very courteous and professional. Great job!
